How many buys do you think WM will get, both domestically and internationally?

For comparison's sake, last year's did around 1,000,000 buys total, but only about 650,000 buys, which is very low for WM, were domestic. Do you think international buys can carry the WM brand again, or will the international scene be just as low as the domestic level?

As for domestic? WM21 had actual buzz. You had two main events that had much better builds, a better mid-card (MITB 1, Taker/Orton Guerrero/Mysterio, Angle/Shawn) and the Piper/Austin attraction as well....and it got 650,000.

WM22?

Both main event angles are dead in the water, the mid-card has a

softer MITB match, JBL/Benoit doesn't touch with Shawn/Angle. Taker/Henry, is a big downgrade from a legitimate chance of Taker's streak ending). There's no special attraction like Austin or Piper behind 22. McMahon/HBK, like McMahon/Hogan in 2003 killed the show and we know how shitty the buyrates were for that one....WMXIX had a killer line-up and it still tanked because the focus was on the McMahon match.

The focus is all on McMahon again and this time, they don't have a card to protect it. I'll say it reaches 515,000 domestic buys.

550,000 domestic, over a million overall. Slightly worse than last year domestically, but better because more markets open up. I think they have a 400,000 base on Mania domestically of people who get it no matter what, and I think some will just get swept up into it (which, unless hype has been really poor, should always do okay, but then again, I don't watch TV).
