It was released by Silver Vision, who marketed the Coliseum videos in Europe.

I've got a copy somewhere.

Cheers.

If anyone is interested, I did a (pretty poor) review of Battle Royal in the Column Corner section about a month ago. It was an awful video though- when LOD vs Power & Glory is the second best match on the tape you've got problems.

By the way, did anyone else notice that the video box hypes the European debut of "Rick Flair"??

Hmmm... Most of the time in understand when you have results w/ only one match (ie Hogan Def. Someone, Bruno Def. Someone) as its logical to assume that the important title match would be the only one reported.

This, however, would be pre-Hulkamania when Hogan was just a midcard guy, any reason why this match is available as part of that days results but not other matches like the main event?

Yes, and who the hell IS Alfred Hayes?

He was a longtime McMahon employee. I don't know beans about him pre-1984. He had a heavy English accent and would commentate many of the MSG shows in the 1980s (Wasn't half as bad as the CV Exclusives w/ Sean Mooney). He also played Andy Richter to Vince's Conan O'Brien in Tuesday Night Titans (TNT), which was a Tonight Show takeoff in which the guests were wrestlers.

However, by the early 1990s, Al became unbearable and was released/quit/fired/I dunno in 1993ish.

After seeing a pic of him a while back, he doesn't appear to be in too good of health nowadays.

Hogan was a top tier midcard guy that only lost to Andre on a regular basis. Sometimes adding results means I only get pieces at a time and have to add to them when I can. That's all I've come across at this point.

It's doable, especially if the first contest took place prior to intermission and thus allowed Hogan and Orndorff to leave early.

Lord Alfred worked in the AWA prior to joining the WWF in 84. I believe he had a feud with Bobby Heenan during that time. He has even shown up in a few of the Maple Leaf Garden cards I have posted from before the arena became WWF exclusive.

He co-hosted a ton of the old CHV compilation tapes like 'World Tour', 'SuperTape', etc ... did commentary for Prime Time matches ... even did the "promotional consideration paid for by the following" soundbite for the syndies - which ran until about 96.

I heard he was at last year's pre-WrestleMania fan fest, but is now restrained to a wheelchair. I think he and Vince have a good relationship - he seemed very grateful that he was invited to Access.
