Well, Mr. T vs. Kevin Sullivan is considered the most celebrated Starrcade match of all time.

Yeah, okay, some crap there. But the vast majority is very watchable.

Damn...These guys had a PPV match in 1990, and later on became Thunder staples.

I would say the Cruiser match from 98 is the best of the bunch there.

Ultimo/Malenko from 96 is pretty good, but I admit I'm a tad biased.

Let's not forget Steiner vs. Sid from 2000.

On a serious note, Saturn vs. Benoit is a underappreciated gem if I remember correctly.

I'm not sure people realize it or not, but that's Rey Mysterio 'Sr' there and not the little guy.

Also from the Pat O'Connor cup, either DeClerk or Krueger would later become better known as Rocco Rock of Public Enemy. But he was a thin bastard back in the day. Unfortunately during the match he went for a tope con hilo on Rick though and Steiner just powerbombed him to the concrete. Not a pretty site.

You guys are nuts. Everything else is vying for second place to Flair/Vader.

That Juvi/Rey Jr./Kidman way was the first WCW match I ever saw since I ordered Starrcade 1998 as my first pay per view. Lets just say after Kidman/Eddy I was on such a high everything was a let down.

The Horsemen/ Doom match from Starrcade 90 was pretty damn awesome too. Shame the pisspoor Black Scorpion fiasco followed shortly afterwards on the show

IRonic how the non-PPV Starrcades (83-86) have bene given good reviews over these.

You forgot the 1987 Starrcade, since it WAS on PPV, but not everywhere because WWF's Survivor Series jerked them over. Who can forget Garvin/Flair cage match when the crowd turns on Garvin and cheers uber-heel Flair, even though he's a Horsemen.

Starrcade '95 was pretty bad ass, although a concept like that these days wouldn't get over at all.
