Question is, are they going to release the old WWF PPV's on DVD here in the US? Seems like those would sell really well over here . . I don't have any desire to have them all, but getting shows like WrestleMania 3, 8, 10, SummerSlam '91, Survivor Series '87, and so forth would be bad-ass . . . .

This is all the more incentive to pick up a multi-region DVD player and I'm actually going out searching for one in a couple of hours. I've wanted one, but this is the icing on the cake.

I'll be getting the Rumble one, especially if there's some extras added. Doubtful there will be, but still...I'm a total mark for the '90 Rumble for some reason.

It was actually a decent match (certainly better than pretty much anything from the 90 show except the Rumble itself), and yet it's never been released commercially. |

So those extras that Scott Keith reported for the MNW DVD turned out to be total crap, unless they turn out to be the main feature. The question is is this a 2 or a single DVD set? Single more than likely with the extras announced. They should release some info on the main feature, dammit!
Austin/HBK vs Bulldog/Owen (best RAW match EVER, IMO) This is worth buying just for this match. As for the WM and RR releases, I find it pretty cool and all, but unless they're also planning on releasing them in the US then there's nothing I can do, since I have no multi-region player. |

QUOTE Wrestlemania 1 and 2 Double DVD Does that mean both shows on one double-sided disk? Or does it mean 2 DVD's in one package? Either way, I'm marking the fuck out. Thank you WWE (IMG:http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/style_emoticons/default/ylsuper.gif) |

Nevermind, the boxes say they're 2-disc sets:

I wonder why they used a 1989ish pic of Hogan for WrestleMania I.

The backgrounds of the Mania discs are the same, which would suggest a future box-set release.

Unless I'm mistaken, those are all the covers they used for the PAL video releases of each title. In other words, don't get your hopes up (AGAIN) about a Wrestlemania Box Set.

The original American PPV posters are tons better than the UK ones. The Big Bossman on the cover for Royal Rumble '90?

i still cant believe that the wwe isnt utilizing the video library fully...so many awesome dvds could be made. they could probably even use all the old wwf stuff if they just cut the wildlife people a percentage of the sales or somethin.

The rereleasing of old PPVs will be a freaking goldmine for WWE. The hell with low ratings and slumping ticket sales, they'll make up all of their losses through their DVD division.

You know, with Bossman being on the cover of the Royal Rumble 1990 DVD, it gives us just one more reason why Bossman is better than Goldberg.

"12" and "15" are classifications, like PG-13 and R-17 in America. It's got nothing to do with what number the DVD set is. |

The numbers are the stupid rating system the Brits use. The number corresponding to the recommended age to be able to watch the show.
