This SNME aired on Memorial Day weekend 15 years ago.... It was one SNME I watched alot over the last 15 years as well...its pretty solid IMO, with only the Snuka match being craptacular. But Damn...15 years...........
SNME Match 1- WWF Intercontinental Title: Ravishing Rick Rude © (w/Bobby Heenan) vs. King Hacksaw Jim Duggan SNME Match 2- Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ Sensational Sherri) SNME Match 3- WWF Championship: Hulk Hogan © vs. Big Bossman (w/Slick) SNME Match 4- WWF Tag Team Championship: Demolition © vs. the Brainbusters SNME match 5- "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka vs. Boris Zhukov (w/Slick) |

I've got that show on tape...well, all except the Brainbusters match. I dubbed it from a friend back in like the 7th grade (1995) and that match wasn't on there. Still, that was a pretty good show. It's crazy to think all that happened so long ago. The Hogan era seems like it was just yesterday.

I used to watch Hogan/Bossman every day. It was my favorite match. (IMG:http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Those were the days.

No, Hogan / Bossman was ... but the main event always came early or at least half-way through the show with the last match being *usally* a glorified squash. I've heard the last segment of SNME be compared to the last half hour of Saturday Night Live and I think it holds true.

SNL puts it's best stuff early and early-middle becasue more people are watching at that time. WWF also did this as evidenced by matches like hogan/Orndorff, Warrior/Andre etc. going first. |
