Significant neck damage has led to Kurt Angle having his hand go numb again. He’s set for another MRI this week.

Angle went into shock at WM 19 after the Brock match.

WWE’s Mexico trip ended up setting the record for all time biggest gate. (443,000 for HHH Vs Beniot) the prior record was Konnan vs Cien Caras (400,000)

JBL heeled it up by saying he beat Mil Mascaras for the Mexican Hwy Title back in the 90’s (heels are allowed to lie)

Flair/Edge TLC was the highest rated match in over a year

In the 2000 lawsuit settlement the WWE paid warrior 900,000 and both parties agreed not to publicly rip on the other, so Warrior feels the DVD did so and thus he’s entitled to more damages

Finlay’s debut brought in 500,000 extra viewers a rare occurrence for a new guy

Raw’s attendance rose in December – SD!’s did not

Terry Funk sold the Double Cross Ranch recently

Jericho has a role as an android in a Sci Fi Channel original movie coming soon

Bill Dundee’s Grandson, and Bobby Eaton’s son D.L. Eaton made his debut recently, during the same show Bobby /Bill started a feud

Billy Jack Haynes was attacked by 2 men with brass knuckles and beat up pretty badly. He is known to be in some shady circles and this was a “hit”

Carmen Electra’s Naked Women’s Wrestling League (booked by Dory Funk jr) recently taped a TV pilot and PPV. Jimmy Hart and April Hunter were both on air talent

Kevin Von Erich’s son Ross wants to be a wrestler, he’s 18 and about to train

TNA and WWE can assume a big name is worth bringing in on this scale roughly: $60,000 can be paid off with 5,000 added buys. Dave thinks Jericho and Goldburg would do one shots for TNA under that price.

Shannon Moore is dating Droz ex wife

Cena vs HHH is on tap for WMania – Many agents were pulling for Edge to keep the belt due to recent big ratings with him on top (Compared to SS Graham’s aborted reign)

Dibiase has heat backstage for having too much of any “80’s view on wrestling

Vince wanted to run WM 23 at Pontiac Silverdome as a 20 year anniversary, but Ford’s Field looks to be the new choice

SS Graham and Vince had a angle planned, but SS Graham wanted to get physical and Vince didn’t want Graham to accidentally get hurt, so things were scrapped

Orlando Jordon’s Boyfriend will be played by one of his real life friends

Burchill will be a face soon

Prior to Dean Visk being cut, Creative contacted the 46 year old WARLORD (of POP) to ask if he’s like to make a comeback as a team with Visk

Foley has creative control in his new contract

HHH says Cena is being boo’d cause Angle doesn’t know how to play heel

Angle and his wife Karen are back together

Terry Funk will be the main draw of One Night Stand II

Rey Misterio Sr may be brought in to help push Rey, plus the band that does his music was contacted for WMania (a live show)

Juvented claimed to some this week that he wasn’t fired, and was stuck in Mexico with Visa problems thanks to the terror alert level

Neither does Edge or Jericho, I guess.

The Rumble match is the template for how Triple H will bury Cena for good at Wrestlemania. Destroy him for 20 minutes ala Austin, then pin him clean in the ring with a Pedigree.

Triple H will beat Cena in the manor he always does when permanently burying a guy.

Kick-Wham-Pedigree-lay around the mat for 30 seconds-pinfall.

On Canadian wrestling radio show Live Audio Wrestling, Meltzer said that the plan right now is NOT Rey vs. Angle. (And no, it isn't Rey vs. Cena either.)

He said the plan is STILL Angle vs. Orton, and Hunter vs. Cena

He said the plan is STILL Angle vs. Orton,

That makes sense...angle works face against Henry at Rumble, works heel against taker at NWO, and face again agaist Orton at WM.

Orton vs Angle would be the definition of Heatless

I actually don't think Angle/Orton will be a terrible match. It's leaving a bad taste though since Rey is going to be unfairly shunted into a midcard match because of it. And it's a "meh" match in a card filled with them.

The main flaw of Mania this year is that there is not single money-drawing match there. Not one.

WrestleMania 21 had Batista/HHH and HBK/Angle, at the very least. Plus there was noticeable interest in Orton/Taker, Money in the Bank, and even Cena/JBL. Not to mention Piper's Pit. The card for WrestleMania 21 was very strong, I thought.

WrestleMania 22 has absolutely nothing.

And Triple H/Cena is going to be terrible. It's funny to see he's criticizing Angle's heel abilities as the reason Cena's getting booed, when Goldberg was getting LOUD boos in his feud with Triple H only two years ago. What happened there?

So, they need to bring in someone to help push Rey...but isn't winning the Royal Rumble a pretty big fucking push by itself?

Does Rey really NEED help? He seems over enough to me. Unless they are going to have Orton lay out the elder one as a way to make Rey give him a match for the title shot at NWO. Which would still be incredibly stupid of him and it doesn't sound like they really have a fucking clue what they are going to do with Rey at Mania.

Shawn did this with Jose Lothorio. (I'm surprised they haven't dragged him back out since he left). It's not un-common for a babyface to have a second to get over more.

The fans turned on Michaels about that time too...Rey already has Eddie Guerro to second him and I think that's enough...although somebody was right that bringing in Sr. for a couple of weeks to then get attacked by Orton so that Rey gives him a match for the Mania spot would be about the only thing I can think of that would make sense...Orton should just be made to wait until SS...they ain't gonna have two heels win the main events anyways and you know HHH won't wait longer than a year to get the title back....

What, what the hell is this? Why are they doing this? You have Orlando finally do something interesting in his career by standing up to Booker T and his hoodrat wife only to turn him gay. GAY?! He just turned face and now you're turning him gay? It's hard enough for a black wrestler to get over, but a GAY black wrestler? Can anyone give me some background on this gimmick change because since no one quoted this tidbit it is obviously old news I missed out on.

Orlando's going to be bisexual, his friend will be the male love interest, and the recently signed Trinity of TNA fame will be the female half of the equation. Why they're doing this no one knows.

Fixed.

Funny, trips gets mad at Angle for apparently not heeling it up enough, but gets mad at Edge for heeling it up to much.

And I was about to get on Trips' side. Wait till he reads how the IWC rips him now.

So, how will HHH explain in the coming weeks why he is being cheered while the crowd shits on Cena?

I guess I can't say for sure that's what will happen, but if HHH plays his comical smart-ass, yet tough guy heel schtick, that would seem to be certain death for a stale, unfunny Cena. Now insert your conspiracy theories on how HHH would use these reactions to justify taking the belt off Cena at WM.

I never understood Jose Lethario being brought in to manage HBK. Frankly, most WWF fans at the time had no idea who he was (my friends and I had never heard of him), so there wasn't any name value with him. I understood having him appear in Shawn Michaels' training videos, since obviously he was gearing up for the big match against Bret Hart. But having him come in and manage HBK? Didn't make any sense. You have this cool, cocky, young babyface that chicks dig, and set him up with this 60 year old Hispanic guy? He didn't have any mic skills, either. Seemed pretty silly to me. I think I feel the same about Misterio Sr...might be cool to see him training Rey Jr. for his match at Wrestlemania, but I hope they don't make him a recurring character.
