ULTIMATE FIGHT INSIDE~!

Waffles.

This wasn't even a contest.

Anyone who answers pancakes has no idea what they're talking about.

Seriously, you might as well ask "Herpes vs. $10 million cash"

Mitch Hedberg: I like waffles better than pancakes. Because waffles are like pancakes with syrup traps. They say to syrup, "You ain't going anywhere, don't even be trying to creep down the sides. Just rest in these squares, if one square is full, move on. When you hit butter, split up."

A Belgian waffle trumps pancakes, but pancakes are better than shitty Eggo waffles.

^ What Czech said. A good pancake though, is really damn good.

However, fruit-infused waffles, such as blueberry, blackberry, and strawberry, are pretty hard to beat.

Fried batter in any incarnation is wonderful, but I'm a pancake kinda guy.

I like homemade waffles better than homemade pancakes, so my vote is for waffles.

My gal makes these chocolate ones, chocolate waffle with two kinds of chocolate chips. It was so good I almost started crying. There are few things better than a homemade waffle.

Maybe I'm just thinking of my Gram Gram's Pancakes which God Himself would stand back in awe at. So fluffy they just SOAK the syrup in.

Syrup Trap? No boxes needed these things are like batter sponges.

Not really a big waffle fan...

Danish pancakes are the best in all categories, but really good normal buttermilk pancakes are one of my favorite foods.

I'd also take french toast.

This is like Sophie's Choice.

I almost named this thread Sophie's Breakfast Choice. True story.

Real men pick up waffles WITH THEIR DAMN HANDS.

That's an Eggo at that point, which is a bad example to put up against the home made spongey goodness of a pancake.

All I'm saying is, waffles put up way more of a fight when you're going fork-edge on them.

Maybe shitty frozen waffles do. Real waffles certainly don't.

Nigga, I made waffles. They're stingier than pancakes.

I don't know what to tell you. Are you using a plastic fork to cut them or something?

EVEN an eggo is better than fucking pancakes.

Pancakes suck.

You need to find some halfway decent pancakes, Eggo? EGGO?

Eggo is a step above cardboard.
