Guilty pleasures? Matches your love...

Recommended Posts

Angle vs. Shane from KOTR probably entertained me more than any other match I've seen. It had some sloppiness (including the worst sharpshooter ever, by Shane), and wasn't a classic of psychology or anything, but it had great spots and was never boring. Also, I've never felt more satisfied after a match than when Angle won. I don't know, maybe being there in person made me enjoy more than I otherwise would have.

And I will admit to loving the Big Show vs. Bossman feud (in fact, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.)

LOVE is too strong of a word... "fun" is more appropriate:

RVD vs Jeff Hardy - SSlam 01

Triple H vs. Steiner - RR03 (come on, how could you not like seeing Steiner self destruct on a live PPV?)

Rock vs. Billy Gunn - SSlam 1999

Rock vs Mankind - Halftime Heat

Halftime Heat Match was great.

(Rock with Mr. Socko on hand) "Please don't put me in the oven...AHHHHHH."

Benoit/Billy Gunn from 2000...Billy gets gassed and Benoit makes him tap...just so fun to watch Billy get exposed. Then, the next night on RAW, he tops it by almost dropping Benoit on his head with a press slam...

And I'm sorry, but I can't help but love those X-Division multi-man matches. The ones that aren't the 4-man from week 2 or the 6-man from week 12. Just fun to watch all the spots...

And just to think, that was one of the many highlights on that PPV, kinda sad, but Dustin kicked ass in 94' until BATB.

Triple H v. Steiner- No Way Out.

The crowd booing Steiner out of the building from the minute his music hits, chanting boring the whole time, Ric Flair being the biggest face in the whole match-

I was laughing my ass off the whole time

"Little Naitch" Charles Robinson vs. Gorgeous George - it might not strike everyone as funny, but I found it to be hilarious!

I like the Lethal Lottery matches (the first couple of years that they did them). I just dug the concept.

Anything with Koko B. Ware in it.

And Undertaker/Kane vs. Kronik is awesomely funny!

I was/am a mark for Tito Santana's singles run from 1989-1991.

Also enjoyed the Hardiez/Conquistadors No Mercy match. Plus, I remember actually finding Lawler amusing as well.

And before I knew they had a billion matches against each other that were exactly the same, I actually LIKED the Steele/Savage match from WM2. To this day, I find it a hoot to watch, but I can't stand their other matches.

Time to go OLD SCHOOL~!

- Ultimate Warrior/Rick Rude from WM5

- Roddy Piper/Adrian Adonis and Hulk Hogan/Andre the Giant from WM3

- Hulk Hogan/Sgt. Slaughter from WM7

- the WM4 battle royal

- Megapowers vs. Megabucks from Summerslam 88

And, of course, the immortal Kurt Angle/Showster match from Backlash 2000. I laughed my ass off at that match.

Undertaker/Kane vs Kronik - I can't even remember the PPV off hand but this match had me and my friends intears is sucked so bad.

Headhunter A vs Headhunter B - 1995 IWA

There is something amusing about two huge twins that can only do aerial moves beating each other up in a glass death match.

Any Big Show match.

Honestly, I actually like the guy. Espicially his bout with Angle & Lesnar at Vengeance, this year, and the fun but short match he had with Randy Savage many moons ago.

Brings back memories.

Not as high profile--but Raven vs. Rhyno from Backlash 2001--Hardcore match.

Torrie/Stacy Lingerie Match from No Mercy 2001 (do I need to explain? If only Torrie would have jobbed...).

Brock vs. Big Show (pick one of 'em).

Any RVD match in ECW.

Let me add Randy Savage vs. Jim Duggan for the Crown at MSG which is on Mega Matches. BIG TIME crowd heat, great cheating, fine bumping, even better drama, and by far my favorite Hacksaw Jim Duggan match (never seen his pre-WWF stuff).

The Undertaker v. Jimmy Snuka WM 7 Match. Sure it was a quick squash, but it just makes me mark out.

I forgot all about KAne/Show/Raven from WM X-7. Kane running over Ravens leg is awesome. Well, he tried to at least.

Absolutely. Any 500 pound man who does such a physically demanding job, taking bumps and not politicking despite having a contract that probably would allow him to has my respect. He seems like a nice guy as well, if they booked him as a face he'd remain over, but no, he's a main event heel, yessir.

I love love love Brock/Hogan. No selling the Hulk-Up sends me into fits of evil laughter every fuckin time.
