Mind Games

This is a fairly interesting show. You have the Razor Ramon/Diesel stuff, with Jim Ross claiming their "appearance" proved it was not just a ratings ploy. The wrestling debut of Mark Henry, along with Bradshaw's PPV debut. Lothario/Cornette was awful, but at least short. Mankind/Michaels is still a classic.

Was the giant poster a legit rib from Owen? It seems like something he would do.

I don't have 24/7 but I do have a bootleg VHS of this show (I don't know if it was ever released on Coliseum Video). This is one of those shows that's fairly interesting but wrestling-wise is just not very good. I don't think anything more needs to be said or really can be said about the greatness of HBK/Mankind but I'll say I think the second best match was Savio Vega Vs Justin Hawk Bradshaw. That was a fun little match.

IIRC, it was only released through WWF Magazine. And back then, the price tag for most videos was $39.95.

Yeah, IYH 2, and this show were only available through WWF Magazine, while IYH 4, 5, Good Friends Better Enemies, It's Time, A Cold Day in Hell, and Degeneration-X were never released at all, or at least in the case of IYH 4, and 5 were edited together on one two hour tape.

I always saw that interview clip and never knew where it was from until I watched (and didn't care for) this show the other day. Since Raw is all about the Austin / Hart Foundation feud, seeing Austin come out to do a promo with Pillman and Owen was a bit bizarre. By default I expected Austin to come out and kick Brian's ass.

Actually, GFBE was released on Coliseum Video, but like Mind Games it's pretty rare and used to sell for a lot on Ebay. The cover had some generic name for the tape that wasn't the PPV name (like all the IYH's did back then), and had a shot of HBK with Diesel's face in an insert.

If we're talking about Silver Vision, then everything was released. I actually have both It's Time and ACDiH, both of which are actual NTSC copies. I also have IYH 4, a full version of One Night Only, and D-X, but they are converted from PAL. IYH 5 also was released on its own, again only in PAL, I believe.

GFBE In your House was called "Mega Matches '96" by coliseum home video. I've got it actually and outside of the main event its a dreadful show. But that main event was kick ass, especially for 1996 WWF.

You forgot the ECW invasion at the beginning of the show. One of the biggest mark-out moments of my fandom.

I was at this show. One of my favorite moments ever was walking into the arena for the first time, turning to my right and seeing Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Heyman staring me dead in the face.

I haven't seen the show since, but I really liked it live. Aside from the ME and the ECW invasion, Owen and Bulldog taking the tag belts was big for me at the time since it was the first title change I had ever seen live.
