Califonia's 1st Night Stalker

50 rapes, 10 murders Never caught

The Rapist raped fifty women in the Sacramento area in the early 70’s. When he entered the home of a couple, before raping the woman, he put dishes on the stomach of the boyfriend; he would be alerted during the course of the rape by rattling dishes if the boyfriend moved.

Citizens called a town meeting to discuss the East Area Rapist. One man stood up and insulted the men who allowed their women to be raped while trying to balance dishes on their stomach.

A few weeks later, this same man’s wife was raped while dishes were placed on his stomach. Police theorize that the East Area Rapist was in attendance at the meeting and singled the man out.

Awesome.

No doubt....

Spting Heeled Jack

The first claimed sighting of Spring Heeled Jack that is known occurred in 1837.[1] Later alleged sightings were reported all over England, from London up to Sheffield and Liverpool, but they were especially prevalent in suburban London and later in the Midlands and Scotland.

Spring Heeled Jack was described by people claiming to have seen him as having a terrifying and frightful appearance, with diabolical physiognomy that included clawed hands and eyes that "resembled red balls of fire". One report claimed that, beneath a black cloak, he wore a helmet and a tight-fitting white garment like an "oilskin". Many stories also mention a "Devil-like" aspect. Spring Heeled Jack was said to be tall and thin, with the appearance of a gentleman, and capable of making great leaps. Several reports mention that he could breathe out blue and white flames and that he wore sharp metallic claws at his fingertips. At least two people claimed that he was able to speak comprehensible English

Soddor Children

A large family goes to bed Xmas night, the mother hears a strange thump on the roof. A passing driver reports balls of flames being tossed on the roof. The parents and 4 children rush outside. There are several children left insie. The father's ladder is gone and later found laying by a ravine, the phone line is cut. The fire department takes 6 hours to respond. 5 children never come out.

The parents find evidence that their children were kidnapped. The local officals and FBI refuse to help....

In 1968, over 20 years adter the tragedy, the Sodders received an envelope addressed to Mrs. Sodder with no return address. Inside she found only a photograph of a young man, 24-28 years old, On the back of the photograph were these words: "Louis Sodder" Mrs. Sodder was convinced that the photograph was of her son Louis Sodder, who was supposed to have died in the fire at the age of nine.

Was The Zodiac Killer Case ever solved?

No.

The movie Zodiac points to one guy and I remember a story on Unsolved Mysteries that lines Zodiac and the Unibomber together. So there are still many theories out there.

Non-crimes:

Wow! signal

The Big Ear telescope was fixed and used the rotation of the Earth to scan the sky. At the speed of the earth's rotation, and given the width of the Big Ear's observation "window", the Big Ear could observe any given point for just 72 seconds. An extraterrestrial signal, therefore, would be expected to register for exactly 72 seconds, and the recorded intensity of that signal would show a gradual peaking for the first 36 seconds – until the signal reached the center of Big Ear's observation "window" – at which time it would show a gradual decrease.

Therefore, both the length of the Wow! signal, 72 seconds, and its shape would correspond to a possible extraterrestrial origin.

Only a little more than a year ago, the astronomer who noticed the signal wrote, "since all of the possibilities of a terrestrial origin have been either ruled out or seem improbable, and since the possibility of an extraterrestrial origin has not been able to be ruled out, I must conclude that an ETI (ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence) might have sent the signal that we received as the Wow! source."[1]

Bloop

The Bloop is the name given to an ultra-low frequency underwater sound detected by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration several times during the summer of 1997. The source of the sound remains unknown.

According to scientists who have studied the phenomenon it matches the audio profile of a living creature but there is no known animal that could have produced the sound. If it is an animal, it would have to be, reportedly, much larger than even a Blue Whale, the largest known animal on the earth.

Voynich manuscript

The Voynich manuscript is a mysterious, undeciphered illustrated book. It is thought to have been written between 1450 and 1520.[citation needed] The author, script, and language of the manuscript remain unknown.

Over its recorded existence, the Voynich manuscript has been the object of intense study by many professional and amateur cryptographers, including some top American and British codebreakers of World War II fame (all of whom failed to decrypt a single word).

Or jokes (or attempts at joke) since this is TSM and all.

D.B. Cooper reminds me of NewsRadio, so that's a great example.

Jimmy James was both D.B Cooper and Deepthroat so that solves that.

The Frederick Valentich Disappearance is an event that occurred on October 21, 1978, in which 20-year-old Frederick Valentich disappeared in unexplained circumstances while piloting a Cessna 182L light aircraft over Bass Strait to King Island, Australia.

Prior to his disappearance, Valentich reported via radio that he had encountered an unidentified craft that flew at high speed dangerously close to his Cessna, and later hovered over his aircraft. The case attracted significant press attention and became part of UFO lore

Edward spent over 28 years building the Coral Castle, refusing to allow anyone to view him while he worked. A few teenagers, who claimed to have witnessed his work, reported that he had caused the blocks of coral to move like hydrogen balloons. The only tool that Leedskalnin spoke of using was a "perpetual motion holder."

Son of Sam killer David Berkowitz did not act alone. Shortly after his arrest in August 1977, Berkowitz confessed to killing six people and wounding seven others in the course of eight shootings in New York City between 1976 and 1977. Many eyewitness described much different looking people than Berkowitz at the crime scenes, nas Berkowitz himself has claimed his Satanic cult helped in the killing spree. No one else has ever been arrested for the crimes, but as of 3 years ago the case was reopened.

Keith Warren

Keith Warren (pictured above at a football game) died in Silver Springs, Maryland in 1986, one month away from starting college. Paramedics found Keith in a wooded area behind the family townhouse, hanging from a tree by the neck, bent double with his weight.

After a ‘very’ brief investigation, the authorities concluded that Keith had committed suicide despite the fact that rope was tied around the bigger tree to support the smaller tree, how can a suicide victim tie ropes around two separate trees and hoist themselves up?

Surprisingly, no autopsy was ordered and the body was immediately dispatched to a funeral home ‘without’ the Warren family being notified.

A witness says, before Keith’s death, a car full of suspicious characters were looking for him, the type of individuals Keith did not associate with. Several days later, another man was desperately looking for Keith.

The Warren family had returned home from an outing, one of the relative’s wanted to see the tree in the back, where Keith was found. When they arrived at the spot, the tree had been mysteriously cut down without their knowledge.

On Keith’s birthday, his mother received a package, the package contained 5 official looking police photos which showed different angles of Keith hanging by the neck, wearing someone else’s clothing.

Then a friend of his with info turned up dead.....

Did a group of men escape "The Rock" (Alcatrez) and make to the main land?

Crude tools, ingenious dummy heads, and a wild escape plan.... personal items were recovered from the prisoners floating in the bay, but no bodies were ever found.

Did the FBI cover up the RFK assassination?

The negatives of some photographs taken in the moments surrounding the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy are missing.

That is not a matter of debate.

But almost everything else about the pictures is.

Did they show the crucial seconds when bullets felled the presidential candidate in a pantry at the Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968, as claimed by the photographer, Jamie Scott Enyart? Or did they show nothing of the assassination, as alleged by the city attorney's office?

Could they have been destroyed, along with other evidence, after the official assassination investigation, as suggested by Enyart? Or were they simply misplaced, only to turn up in state archives more than 25 years later, as claimed by city and state officials?

And was a manila envelope containing the recently rediscovered negatives stolen from a courier's car in Inglewood last Friday, as claimed by the courier? Even attorneys for the city, who may soon have to mount a defense in Enyart's $2-million lawsuit over the missing negatives, admit that the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft are "highly unusual."

Not really an unsolved event, but I'm starting to love the Denver Airport Conspiracy. It's probably the best conspiracy outlined since Grandpa vs. Sexual Inadequacy.

You'd think the NWO would be smarter than to build their secert HQ under the World's 8th busiest airport and to give out so many clues to the public.

Was Senator Huey Long shot by an Assassian or by his own body guards???

Conspiracy Theorists believe that the whole event was the same up until Long tried to brush away Weiss on the third attempt. On the third attempt, Conspiracy Theorists believe that Weiss got angry because Long wouldn’t listen to him and punched Long in the face. The bodyguards upon seeing this, opened fire accidentally shooting Long twice, and then shooting Weiss point blank around sixty times. This theory would make sense because of the fact of Long’s lip being busted when he went into the operating room. But after the murder, Weiss’ brother heard the rumors and went to see for himself. Outside of the capitol building, he found Weiss’ car and in it was his bag where he kept all of his medical tools. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the keys to get in on him, so he went to his house to get them. When he got back, the car was gone. He later found it around the back of the building and the bag that was in it was in disarray with all the contents strewn about and the gun that was in the glove compartment was gone. A security guard that Weiss’ brother talked to said that he saw one of Long’s bodyguards get the gun and place it near Weiss’ body.

With all this compelling evidence, they would obviously re-open the case right? Well, even if someone wanted to, they couldn’t, because a little while after the assassination, all the official records of the case and Weiss’ gun disappeared. When the files and the gun were later recovered (by examining the will of a bodyguard, investigators found them in a safe deposit box in Louisiana), ballistics tests were done on the used bullet that was found with the gun. Those tests showed that the bullet did not come from Weiss’ gun. The official records were released into police custody and the police later mentioned that nothing in the files was, "worth mentioning."

Is that the airport with the strange mural too? Also, what's that Airport with all the UFO sightings that Dan Akroyd loves?
