New Danger Zone fellas. Still trying to work some things out like recording a convo and possibly setting up a voicemail so that people can call the show with questions or a rant. Also trying to get better sound program as well as a new mic, since I've been recording with an Aiwa karaoke mic. Topics on this show include...

Summerslam reaction and thoughts
WON Hall of Fame inductions and proposal for a TSM Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame?
Emails (from the guys who actually emailed me)
Post Summerslam Raw quick hitting thoughts

Reactions to the show go in this thread, emails to the show about topics or whatever is

[email protected]

Thank you all for your support

Listening right now. Running thoughts...

- Good opening. Glad you're reading the emails and explaining the progess of the show. I think its good that you're involving everyone like this, because when listening, if you hear your email or your comment then it'll make you listen a lot closer to the show.

- SummerSlam wrap was great. To all the critics, hope you're happy with the positivity, even if it was a little tongue-in-cheek, which comes off good on radio. I like how you went through every match and every guy wrestling, and didn't leave anyone out.

- Let your bias shine through. If you hate Eugene, say it, and don't worry about how it comes off. If people disagree, tell them to email you with a counter point. Thats how the show will succeed, if people care enough to email you with counter-arguments. Then we can get debates going, we can get people on the show arguing with you, and arguments are entertaining.

More to come.

- HOF Rundown was well done as well. I like the idea of a TSM Hall of Fame. We could run a ballot in perhaps a couple different categories, as a WWE wrestler probably wouldn't (or shouldn't) fall under the same category as, say, a Puro guy. I'd cedrtainly vote.

- *marks out for own name* Glad I got you all choked up too. Haha.

- Glad you took the time to answer my Bret email. I think he'll show up at Mania after the HOF induction, but I think he'll wait until Mania is in Canada.

- Wow, the show has become international quickly. Australia Loves the Danger Zone!

- Sometimes its good to go on tangents. If you ramble, you can always cut it out, but if you like it, then go with it. The best parts of Foley's two books were when he went off on tangents about road stories or just stuff he'd heard or done along the way.

- Didn't hear much of the Raw Recap, as the show airs here tomorrow night. Liked what I heard, but I didn't actually think they'd go for something as blatant as a 'You're Fired' match.

Overall, its getting better week by week. You've got structure now, which helps a lot. And now you have those little bytes of music, you can do shorter segments so you aren't tired out as quickly. I look forward to the next show, and once we figure out about music, I can put some themes together for you. Great stuff.

You know, I realized after I sent the e-mail last week that it'd be dated by the time the next radio show was posted. I should've thought about that. Perhaps you could make a checklist or some shit that would could send in opinions on? Like this week, we could talk about the "diva" trade, Jericho getting fired, HHH being gone, etc.?

Also, I didn't think about it before, but when you started answering questions that were sent to you, that made for great radio. I think that's a really good idea. We could all send you some questions to answer on-air through e-mail, and then it'll give you some more content for the show.

Another quality show dude. It's good to hear you've established a format to it and things seem to be running alone smoothly. The audio went a bit low while you were reading emails which was a bit annoying as I had to keep adjusting the volume in order to hear it. Other than that it was good stuff, keep it.

Don't trip, Coffey.

The show is still in infant stages. I think later in the week I'll post some topics I plan on hitting next show in this thread so emails aren't dated and whatnot.

Very good show this week. My only gripe is, like Si82 said, it seemed like you pulled away from the mike while reading the emails, making it hard to hear.

I have one suggestion that might help keep the emails more timely so you don't have to scrap any like you did with Coffey's: Do the show on a Wednesday or Thursday. It seemed this week you did the show right after Raw, so there weren't any emails about it (or Summerslam for that matter). A show in the middle of the week would allow people a chance to email you about Raw and any PPVs on Sundays. Also, since Smackdown is taped Tuesday, you could discuss the spoilers on the show. If anyone doesn't want to hear them, they could simply wait a day until it's aired on TV before listening.

Also, since this is TSM Radio, I would like to see you give responses or opinions on certain posts or topics going on in the forums. Like "In this thread, so-and-so suggested a good idea for this wrestler. Here's what I think..."

Just my two cents.

It'd also be a nice way to advertise TSM in a way. Too bad that would bring more trolls here.

I enjoyed the way you read Just John's dialogue.

"Dominick lives in a house of liiiiieeeees."

Good show so far- I'm about halfway into it.

Great show, I think this one is the best so far in terms of structure and keeping a good pace throughout.

I love the idea of a Smart Marks Hall of Fame and would gladly vote for it. It'd be interesting to see what the collective minds on these boards think about who would belong in, who wouldn't, etc.

Looking forward to more hopefully in the weeks to come!

I'm half-way through the show now, and it's a good show so far. You sound more at ease now that you've got a couple of shows under your belt. The semi-interactive nature of the show is a plus, and hopefully you can add guests in some fashion, because that would really pick things up.

Yeah, don't you have a NoCal Kliq with NoCalMike, Darthiki, Ced, etc? They would be the easiest first guests to come on.

I do indeed have a Kliq and those 3 are the guys. However, they all live in Sacramento, CA and I live in the Bay Area (SF and Oakland) which is about 1 1/2 -2 hours away. I usually only see them when there is a ppv since one of our friends (non TSM'er) gets deals from Direct TV where he gets 3 WWE ppv's for $80, which divided amongst 6 people, isn't bad. They're my buds because I used to live in Sacto, but moved to the Bay Area a year ago and have kept in touch with them.

HTQ, last night Admin-Mike and I were AIM'ing and we may have come up with a method to have convo on the show. I'll be in touch with you very soon once I've experimented with the program and you get a mic.

Coffey, I'm working on some email topics for the next show. I'm thinking I may do the show between Wednesday and Friday now because Monday night is not so good for me. The email topics will be posted here when I think of 1) topics I plan on doing segments on so they can be integrated and 2) topics that are just interesting so they can be read and answered in the email segment portion of the show.

Update for Coffey and anyone else who wants to email the show... (taken from General Wrestling pinned topic folder)

For the next Danger Zone, here are the topics I'll be touching on that you can email me on. I will look to incorporate your emails into the topics you touch on (if you send me an email on Smackdown for instance, I'll throw your email in the Smackdown segment of the show) I'll be doing an entire segment on just general questions and thoughts on any topic in wrestling. Here are the topics I plan on doing segments for...

Look at the last episode of Smackdown and the move to Friday nights

TNA- thoughts on Jericho, the idealistic and realistic in regards to coming in and his latest "stunt", who should TNA be looking to add on to the roster in time for Impact on Spike TV.

ROH- look at Kobashi's 10/1 and 10/2 matches along with Gibson winning the ROH title and the effect of having a person who everyone knows is not staying has been having on the group.

And a whole segment on whatever you want to email on. You can comment on things I talked about on the last show, ask questions, request my opinion on something, WWE, TNA, ROH, shill yourself, shill a site, shill a blog, whatever. No limits in this segment. All I ask is to keep it as clean as possible. (kids might be listening (IMG:http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) This is your chance to be a part of the show. Send those emails to-

[email protected]

Hope to hear from you!

I sent you an e-mail on my thoughts on Jericho. I might send another one with my Smackdown thoughts. It depends on if I download Smackdown or not.

I don't want to speculate on Kobashi in ROH. I'm afraid I'd overhype it too much for myself. (IMG:http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have nothing to shill, and if I did, I wouldn't use your show to shill it anyway. (IMG:http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Have you decided on an exact day that your show will be on now?

If you do it on Wednesday, Smackdown will be a whole week old. If you do it on Thursday night, Smackdown for the week still won't have happened. If you do it on Friday, a lot of people won't be able to listen to it for a day or two, not to mention Smackdown is moving to Fridays anyway.
