All-Star Game Tonight

Recommended Posts

7/10 AL starters are from the AL East.

Only Teixeria, Vlad and Buehrle are from different divisions.

I'll be watching, I guess. I like that there are 22 players who have never been here before, it gives the game a different look.

Take a drink:

Everytime Joe Buck says "most of you may have never seen *insert player's name* play before"

Everytime any Fox crew memeber says "This One Counts"

Take 10 drinks:

Every Scooter segment.

Take 20 drinks:

Everytime Tim McCarver mentions Derek Jeter.

I'm going to write about this in the blog later, but I'll pose the question now. Does anyone think the All-Star game would be better served by reducing the number of players on each roster?

Apparantly Jeanie Zelaskowhatever has been knocked up by Rupert Murdoch, otherwise how would she still have a job?

Struggling Braves team? What the hell is she talking about?

The best feel good story they could come up with is David Eckstein being a midget.

There are worse people out there than Jeanie Zelasko it does look like her water's about to break though.

That was the British National Anthem?

I could swear that was "My Country 'Tis of Thee".

Both songs have the same melody, but different words. The British anthem is called "God Save the Queen".

Ah, thanks. It did seem like way too big a gaff for no one to notice.
