    WWE Extreme Rules

PWInsider.com has confirmed before tonight's WWE pay-per-view that newly crowned WWE Champion Batista has suffered a torn bicep and is scheduled to have surgery this coming Tuesday afternoon. Batista defeated Randy Orton in a steel cage match tonight at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. As of a few hours ago, he was also written into tomorrow's RAW storylines. Expect the injury will be worked into WWE storylines also. The news of the injury was known before the Extreme Rules show hit the air tonight and did not occur in the match with Randy Orton. There's still no word yet on when the most recent injury to Batista happened. There's no word yet on the severity of the bicep tear or how long Batista is expected out of action, but a few people have been wondering if the injury will mean an imminent return for Triple H. Since Batista is booked for RAW tonight, they may end up doing some kind of rematch clause with Randy Orton or maybe something else has happened that we don't know yet to allow Batista to remain in action. Regardless of what happens, we will keep you updated on what happens going into tomorrow night's RAW.

    Eastbound and Down

Eastbound and Down has been renewed Kenny Powers is heading back to the big leagues. Eastbound & Down, the HBO comedy series starring Danny McBride, is returning for a second season, the network announced Wednesday. New episodes are scheduled to debut in 2010. The six-episode comedy, executive produced in part by Will Farrell, received critical praise. The series tells the story of a star Major League pitcher, Powers, whose self-destructiveness drives him out of baseball and back to his hometown where he becomes a middle school Phys Ed teacher. The final episode leaves off with Powers landing another big-league offer.

    How I Met Your Mother

According to Tv Guide a few weeks back HIMYM had gotten Danny Glover for an episode, maybe the deal broke down or there was a scheduling conflict.

Soccer fans. "12 rounds" was promoted like hell in all soccer games, English and Spanish telecasts. It was fun seeing Mexican and British guys having no idea how to pronounce Cena.

    Eastbound and Down

Eastbound and Down did better than Flight of the Conchords, Season Finale rating (904,000 vs. 678,000 viewers) Also the ratings don't really matter since premium channels don't sell commercial time.

    Heroes

From EW.com The ink on NBC's unofficial renewal of Heroes is barely dry and already the show's producers are looking ahead to the fourth season. Truth be told, they've been looking ahead for some time now. "We've spent a lot of time in the writers room talking about what season 4 is going to look like," consulting producer Bryan Fuller told me earlier this week. (At the time he was cautiously optimistic about the show's chances of returning.) Fuller says the final moments of the season 3 finale will set the stage for what's to come in the fall. "Basically, the last act of episode 25, similar to what's been done in the past, opens up a new chapter of Heroes. It sets up arcs for a variety of characters." That's particularly true in the case of Claire, Fuller says. "We set all the pieces up in terms of Claire's attitude and what her trajectory is going to be in season 4. You will have a very strong idea by the end of this season's final episode where Claire is going and what's going to be happening with the Petrellis." --------- NBC says that Heroes will be back for 18-20 episodes next season
