2009 TSM Poster Tournament: The Round of 64

Recommended Posts

Guest Czecherbear

Okay, so it's time to officially start this stupid bullshit.

RULE CHANGES, CLARIFICATIONS, REMINDERS

1. No abstentions. They muddy up the spreadsheet, so pick the side of the fence where the grass is greener and the metaphors never mix.

2. In the event of a tie, I'll open the polls up for an extra hour. If the tie isn't resolved by then, I pick based on the justifications (barring my own) that tickled me most.

3. You have to have been registered since yesterday to vote. I'm not throwing any ballots out unless I'm challenged to do so, so no flaps like the Niskie one last year.

4. Please don't take this too seriously. I'll remind myself of that as well. THAT BEING SAID here's the stupid trophy I slapped together

GOLDENDAMES.jpg

The winner can get that as a special group icon or something.

Here are the matchups for round 1. All brackets are final, don't give me that BYU-can't-play-on-Sundays crap.

Venkman: A favorite of mine, and one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever laid eyes upon. When I was making my "Men of TSM" video, I stared at his photograph for inspiration. Mmmhmm.

Bigolshitty: A tough one already! I like both of these guys just fine, but smitty was the voice of reason the Current Events folder so desperately needed during the run-up to the election. Solid contributor elsewhere, too. And he looks like Moby! What a man. What a mighty good man.

Incandenza: Harley is pretty good and she(??) brings the pain in the sports folder, but ain't no way I can vote against my boy Inc in the first round. He was an infrequent contributor in 2008, but he's still one of the best.

EHME: Marney's one of my Posters to Watch in '09, but EHME rocked my body like a cyclone in '08. It's sheer force of will with this guy. He's not the funniest or the smartest or the blackest, but he just posts so fucking much that it's impossible to ignore him.

Byron: Byron, you're a genius enough to be a fool. A fool to gamble everything and never know the rules. Some of us can only live in songs of love and trouble. Some of us can only live in bubbles.

Cheech: Cheech is a really cool guy. Might want to put the Red Sox avatar in mothballs for a while, but the "Hot Pants" custom member title is a nice homage to the legendary "nicknames" thread.

Slayer: A really funny guy, although he could be accused of being the biggest fucking joykill on the board. But when he's on, brother. Whoo. That guy can go.

Ortonsault: I don't really know anything about either of these guys.

Kinetic: An affable Jamaican.

Snuffbox: ????

Matt Young: Spiff is one of those great underrated posters, but Matt Young was just involved in too many great TSMoments in 2008 for me to slight him here. "Matt Young Attacked by Coyote." "Matt Young's Smug Facial Expression." The time when he went crazy and started going on and on about how gay he is. Classic stuff.

CanadianChris: Yep.

Mellow: Came on like rolling thunder in 2008. So many avatars, so many memories.

Bored: Another funny guy. A sports folder exclusive, as far as I know.

Edwin: Edwin was responsible for some of my favorite posts this year. Also, we've both shopped at the same Target.

Fazzle: I guess.

KOAB: Is occasionally capable of saying something off the wall enough to make me lol. His diss of alkeiper is the stuff of legend. A real asset at the bottom of the board.

Smartly Pretty: You are the sunshine of my life.

Bob Barron: His seemingly endless supply of pictures of himself led to some classic TSMoments in 2008. No one else inspired two videos.

Mattdotcom: *gasp*

Kamala: A nice guy and the straw that stirs the drink in General Wrestling. I hope he does well in this tournament, I really do.

pbone: Parker is another guy who really made a name for himself this year. The future governor of Hawaii???

Alkeiper: I don't share his passions for baseball or porn, but Al is all right in my book.

Agent: Might have been my favorite poster last year. He's sweating like a pig and chewing his nails down to the cuticle right now, the poor guy.

Kreese: What kind of bullshit is this seeding? Both of these guys are great, but SJK was around more.

Cyber Mark: I like him plenty. And he's but a wee lad, too. The sky's the limit for this promising youngster.

Treble: I wasn't as nuts about the "tie post" as everyone else, but treble is one of the all-time greats.

Black Lushus: Yeah.

Milky: Another strong year for Nighthawk. And he stopped drinking and found love. What an inspiration.

909: He was pissed when I didn't vote for him last year. I shan't be making that mistake again.

VX: Now a top-tier poster.

Godthedog: Not around often, but brings the heartache every time he posts. He got married this year! Awww.

My votes (featuring explanations!)

Venkman

Dandy (I have a feeling he'll be overlooked because he hasn't done much in the past few months but he was on fire early in '08 and deserves to have a good run in the tourney)

Incadenza (Almost didn't vote for him because he really hasn't posted all that much this year but I don't really know HarleyQuinn well enough to vote over a TSM legend)

EHME (He's really gotten quite a bit better. Not only has he not called me a fag in months but we might be on friendly terms)

Byron The Bulb

Cheech (Still a grouch but a damn fine poster. Again like Dandy, might be overlooked because he hasn't been around all that much lately but deserves to advance)

Slayer (Currently- I'm mildly annoyed by BruiserBrody's overboarding so I'm goin' with the old standby Slayer)

Ortonsault (Can't say I've really noticed either, coin flip matchup of the round!)

Kinetic (My pick for Poster of The Year. Though I'm sure I'll say he's slightly overrated and vote against him in a The Elite Eight as I did with Milky last year before changing my mind and voting for him in the last two rounds)

Broward83(I'm voting against snuffbox- solely because he said I was trying too hard during last year's tournament. I can hold minor grudges with the best of 'em)

Matt Young

CanadianChris

Mellow

Bored

EdwinMacPhisto(Again- like Inc, hasn't seemed to have posted that much this year but is probably one of my top ten favorite all time TSMers)

fazzle

KOAB (Do the right thing TSM- and make The Clash of Two Kings the Stephen Popick Region finals)

TheFranchise

Smues (Toughest pick of the first round. Would put both in my Top Ten current favorites. Sorry bob- just want to see the upset)

Mattdotcom

King Kamala (my campaign slogan; Just Happy To Be Here)

Damaramu

alkeiper

Agent of Obilivion (Damn I'm in a tough bracket again. Some shithot posters in here. I predict I'll be eliminated in the Third Round again---deservedly so)

Sensei John Kreese (Wow- did not expect to see him as a #1 seed which is not to say he doesn't deserve it. Big ups to my fellow BUTT rock lover...boy, did that sound homoerotic)

CanadianGuitarist

Treble

Black Lushus (Briefly considered changing my name to White Lushus after an AIM conversation with Dandy where I told him my aspirations to be The White Black Lushus. That ship has sailed...for now)

Milky

Gary Floyd

Vitamin X

godthedog (possibly the most underrated poster on here. Though he's at the point where he may be underrated by so many that he's overrated)

our fearless leader

Venkman: I like both guys, but I think Agnes would relish the ignominy of a blowout.

Bigolsmitty: One of the good ones in Current Events. Dandy thinks I'm a jerk.

Inc: Harley Quinn is certainly a poster of the year, since all that drafting shit is ALL HIS FAULT. IT'S ALL HIS FAULT. It was good, then overexposed, then bad, then fun bad, then just bad again. Ugh.

Marney: posthumous push. TSM, let's band together in a show of appreciation. We can send her to the finals, sign the Golden Dames like a giant birthday card, and send it to her wifepartner. They'd love it.

Byron: my guy. Who the hell is Urban Warface

Cheech: tough draw, I like them both, but Cheech is always there to yell at me for being the shitty admin I am and telling me how to do my job better, which I appreciate. Not that I want Brooklyn Zoo to start doing the same, heavens no. Maybe if he wins we can backdoor him back to the staff.

Slayer: Brody has really worn out his act with me.

Ortonsault: He's one of life's winners. All he does is win. Who is Thoth?

bonzo gonzo

Kinetic: one of my best board buds, except the time he called me a fuckhead twat in the football thread. Not that I didn't deserve it, of course, but still! That stings! Doesn't sting enough for me to vote for the historically awful twiztidmind, but it may haunt you down the road, Mr. Netic.

Snuffy: Broward brought out the aforementioned twat-calling! ALL HIS FAULT. Snuffbox is my guy. I would donate money to Snuffy's imminent political campaign if I had the money. Maybe I'll throw a garage sale.

Matt Young:?!? Tough call. Spiff's been under the radar, and it's been delightful watching Matt blossom into a hockey guy, even if his team is the Kings. Also, he was the subject of a photoshop thread, of which we should have more here. Big points for smugness.

Burning P.S.S.: I dunno. My abbreviation of his name makes him look like Burning Piss. Yeah. Go Burning Piss.

Mellow: CHINESE DEMOCRACY STARTS NOW

Bored: A true sports fan. Doesn't Chris purport to like the Browns? You can't! You have NO idea.

Edwin: 'win's awesome. If I visit Washington/Alexandria someday, I want to have Thai food with him.

FAZZLE.

Poster Tournament : March Madness :: AndrewTS : that school from the Southwestern Historically Black Catholic Sodomy Conference or whatever that gets an automatic berth every year. Yes, AndrewTS is the man in the Video Games folder, but I don't go in there, so while I was obligated to put him in the field, I sure as spit don't have to vote for him! I'm voting for Fazzle. I don't know who Fazzle is.

saved the board

KOAB:...

Smartly Pretty: O, how badly he wanted to be in this! I hope he goes far!

Barron: Without Bob, there's no "Didn't I Know (Bob Barron Remix)," which I'm really trying to sell to gay bars. I think there's crossover appeal.

The Max: I like the max. He likes hockey, he knows hockey, and when I give him shit in the sports folder he swats me around like an errant bug. I like that. Mattdotcom's pretty great too, dgmw.

Kamala: cowboy numbers is pretty awful really.

Pbone: We don't see I2I on political matters but he hooked me up with a Jaga Jazzist album that I play the hell out of. 'sides, I reinstated Damaramu. What more do you want from me?

Keiper: (to the tune of "Hardrock, Coco, and Joe" which prob only DoCock will get) "lo-ee-o-lady-ah-lady-i-o, I'm baseball, I'm boxing, I'm porn!"

Agent: Agent's cool every year but outdid himself this year as a poster OF 2008. He gave us Excited Dotel! That's some of the best shit EVER. Better than Joe Carter or anything else we've used for celebratory events. Onward Gene.

:)

Kreese: Kreeser came on like a ton of bricks this year, he's destined for a big run. It's too bad we had to shoehorn Spoon into the 64th berth, because he deserves better.

CG: I like both posters, but Cyber Mark has made some lifestyle changes that I can't get behind, viz. heavy drinking and drug use. Now granted, Canadian GTRST drinks to the point of "one time I showed up to summer school and forgot what golf was," but come on! He's Canadian. Whaddyaxpect. Also, the sans-vowel nature of his bracket listing is fun. Canadian Gut-rest. Canadian Gay Tryst. You can fill it in so many ways.

Treble: tie post was after the last tournament so oh GOD does it propel him here. Peek's a doofus.

Massito: I thought he would place much higher, being a rising star of 2008. Even though he's a Mormon and we had quite a row over the place of for-profit broadcasting in the Church, which was never sufficiently resolved, he's a good fella.

Milky: Hawk 34 is awful and Nighthawk has boarded hard again this year.

Gary Floyd: He's basically a last.fm account that can talk and defecate, and I'm only half sure on the shitting part. 909 made me very cross with l'affaire Battlenuts the other day.

VX: The transformation of Vitamin X to Vkitchen Xtraordinaire has been a real asset to the board. Oh, the recipes, the experiences, the vicarious eating! And the other day, he discussed borscht. BORSCHT! Go open a place called "Leo's Borscht Bistro." It can be like a Cuban-Jewish fusion thing.

godthedog: I want to take a class with godthedog. Learn from him. Curry and I just sorta clash, but I'm sure we both wish we didn't. (right?)

Venkman - A consistent favorite who always brings the content, and is a valuable person to have around.

Bigolshitty - TOUGH pick... but Cross is a top 10 poster of mine. I don't like this... Dandy's good enough for a second round run.

Incandenza - That guy is my hero...

EHME - Tries the hardest here. TSM's equivalent of the scrappy white guy coming off the bench who has no real quality but he HUSTLES and that's an appreciated trait.

Byron the Bulb - This whole thing is just between him and Kinetic.

Brooklyn Zoo - Damn, Cheech deserves a second round run just like Kamala, but I can't vote against my boy Brooklyn Zoo.

Slayer - Has been skating by on legacy, but that's enough to knock out about 3/4ths of the competition.

Ortonsault - I can't remember who Thoth is and Ortonsault is a good poster.

Kinetic - Always a chance for a  whenever I see a last post by: Kinetic before clicking a thread. Simply takes my breath away.

Snuffbox - I don't know who Broward is, but Snuffy is a great poster who's often slept on by most people.

Matt Young - No matter what thread it is... there's always a chance of someone ruffling this guy's feathers and then the fun breaks out. He's been a central part of some of the funniest threads this year.

Burning Pirate Sex - I like CanadianChris, but the P.S.S. is my boy.

Mellow - TSM rookie of the year. One to watch from here on out.

Bored - Good sports folder poster and one funny dude.

Edwin - Legend. One of our great contributors to the Music section.

Fazzle - Coin flip.

KOAB - Still Fly posts well... but my ego needs to be fed. I wanna be the Lil Wayne of TSM, break out the bread.

TheFranchise - A surprising source of the occasional

bob_barron - One of the other central pieces to a lot of funny threads this year. Sorry, Smuester.

Mattdotcom - The Bird to Mellow's Magic. Runner up for TSM rookie of the year, and he has the best signature on the board.

Cowboy#s - I like you Kamala, and would vote for you... but I don't wanna see my boy Cowboy#s get completely raped here.

PBone - Future Hawaiii politician in the house.

Al Keiper - I rip on you a lot, but you're a cornerstone of TSM. Plus, I don't feel so creepy about porn with you around.

Agent - Two TSM legends in the first round... tough choice, but Agent rules.

Kreese - He was around more. I imagine this would be a bit tougher if Kotz had a few more months of solid posting under his belt.

Cyber Mark - If he were a number, it'd be zero. Because the potential is infinite for this guy.

Treble - I like 'em both, so it was coin flip.

Lushus - He's made deep runs in these before. Feels like the Eagles from the earlier half of this decade. I wonder if he'll ever win the big one.

Milky - I can't vote against one of my mentors.

Floyd - I like both guys, but I have a feeling Floyd might get raped in this match-up.

Vitamin X - Great in the sports folder and can be funny when he wants to be.

Curry - GSP and MMA folder rep'n. godthedog will get voted for in later match-ups.

I understand, I got a "come on, it's him" spot. I didn't even realize this was going on until just now. I thought we were waiting until March.

Those who didn't vote for me, you're fags. That's all I got. I'll vote tomorrow when I'm not bleary-eyed.

Venkmen - I nominated him, so that's a good reason to vote for him here. I don't think he's ever raised my ire. He seems to do well with the wrestling stuff, I guess. Just plain all-around good.

Bigolsmitty - Easy pick for me. I hope he goes a long way in this tournament. I always enjoy our friendly banter in the CE folder.

Harley Quinn - Incandenza doesn't post much anymore, I don't think. It is very important that we don't reward people's outside lives. Harley seems to really care about this stuff. And football, too, I think.

Marney - Yeah, I fucking wept when I heard. Heaven may have needed a champion but it didn't need the champion of our hearts.

Byron the Bulb - Another one of my personal favorites.

Brooklyn Zoo - This was tough as I like both of these posters, or at least don't actively not like either of them.

Bruiser Brody - Yeah, I nominated Slayer, and I really wish he would like me but he's had his turn. It's Brody's time now.

Ortonsault - Consistently entertaining.

Kinetic - One of the best 2 or 3 posters here. I sense he is no fan of my work, though. Oh well.

Snuffbox - I like to think it was a good year for me.

Matt Young - Always entertains, even if, sometimes, it hurts him inside.

Canadian Chris - I am not familiar with the other fellow.

Use Your Illusion - A good friend from way back.

Bored - I like Bored's sporting enthusiam. And I don't know the other guy. And I don't like Star Trek or whatever.

Edwin MacPhisto - Never has a bad post. Not that agree with them all, I don't, but they're always worth reading.

Andrew TS - Wasn't too sure here but I think I like Andrew TS more. And I like to pick the underdog when I'm not sure one way or the other.

KOAB - He could win this whole thing.

Smartly Pretty - Not sure/underdog.

Bob Barron - He's one of the pillars of our TSM community.

The Max - Absolutely no knowledge of either poster.

Kamala - I'm not going to let my sadness over Kamala's earliar statement/vote against me cloud my opinion of him as a poster.

Pbone - He's a good kid.

Al Keiper - Very easy. I'm already a big fan of his Heavyweights series.

Agent of Oblivion - I think he'll meet KOAB in the finals.

Kotz - I'll never forget how he didn't forget about Katrina.

Canadian Guitarist - I'm pretty sure Im a fan of him.

Treble - I struggle to vote for Patriots fans, of which I believe KingPK is one (this was a shitty sentence). treble could be, too, for all I know. But I don't.

Black Lushus - I dont know the other guy.

Milky - Easy.

909 - How many times did lovecraft apologize for starting the 2008 election thread? Fucking Christ. Besides, I like 909 far more often than not.

VX - I hope you do well!

Lord of the Curry - I enjoy his posts about mma when I read them. And he agreed with me about Lisa Hannigan, but I forget the context.

Venk - Big fan of him.

Dandy - Close one.

Inc

Marney - Eddie Guerrero vote.

Byron

Cheech - Even though I still appreciate Brooklyn Zoo loaning me his signature in 2005, before Halladay got hurt.

Brody - I like him.

Orton - Thoth called me a noob. I think it was actually 'teh noob'. Is Ortonsault the same guy as Xavier Cromartie?

Twisted - Canuck, I think. He's gotta be if Ernie Coombs is his avatar.

Snuff

Matt - I like both, but Matt'll need the help.

CC

Mello

Bored

Edwin

Fazzle

KOAB - I like Still fly, though.

Smartly - Good draftor.

Barron - Canuck, though I like Smues.

Max - Good poster. Cowboy made it close, but the fuckin B's fan gets the nod.

PBone - I haven't interacted too much with Dama, but he seems cool. At Home gets the nod on the grounds that I know him better.

Al - VERY close.

Alf - Another close one.

John Kreese

Me, obviously. Come on, I'm awesome.

Treble wins the closest of the Round of 64.

BL - I can't think of anything Massito's done.

Milky

King

VX - Scroby's a good poster, but VX is my boy.

LotC - Canuck.

I don't know where I missed this pick, but KKC JUST SQUEAKS by Cowboy.

Angle-Plex (Venkman is p. cool but that post in NoCalMike's new job thread was the stuff legends are made of)

Incandenza (Never goes out of style)

Marney (pbuh)

ME! (How did I get to be a #2 seed?!?!!)

Cheech (All around cool dude and I really respected his attempts at injecting new life into the music folder this year)

Brody (Slayer has hated on me more than once. I can't let that slide)

Ortonsault (The Somali Pirates thread is probably the most informative/interesting thing on the whole board. Someday I will read it all.)

Kinetic (I was actually thinking about giving the other guy a pity vote here, but then I saw that the "other guy" was Twisted Intestine and that dude fucking sucks!)

snuffbox (The most lovable hyper-condescending asshole with really weird political views you're likely to ever find)

Spaceman Spiff (h8 Matt Young)

Burning P.S.S. (meh)

Mellow (What is UYI going to do now that Chinese Democracy has come and gone? Continue posting random Axl updates in that thread? Post about other things? Drift quietly back into the ether???)

KOAB (Da Realest)

Smartly Pretty (Seems nice)

bob_barron (Simply adorable)

The Max (Why not)

King Kamala (As solid and workmanlike as posters get)

pbone (Someone should do a statistical analysis of what % of Damaramu posts include "ESPN" in them. I bet it's high!)

alkeiper (luke-o is awful)

Agent (Realer than real)

Kreese (Made a thread about me)

Cyber Mark (A veritable fount of plucky youthful enthusiasm)

Treble (I don't have much to say here)

Massito (Black Lushus's popularity continues to confound me)

Milky (Didn't want to vote for him because I don't believe in repeats, but Hawk 34 is really bad)

909 (For someone with such exotic taste in music, gary floyd sure is dull)

VX (Sure)

godthedog (One of this place's real treasures. Also, Curry's awkward appropriation of slang phrases he heard in rap songs/on The Wire makes me a lil uncomfortable sometimes)

Venkman- From a little known poster who I remembered fondly as a really good wrestling reviewer and then propped up in a tourney a couple years ago, to then propping him up for the mod position he's currently got, I'm really happy to see him rise up in TSM popularity as fast as he has. Guy deserves it.

Bigolsmitty- Gotta love the guy. Dandy and I have had a couple disagreements this year and while I think he's an okay guy now, I'm usually on the same wavelength as smitty.

Inc- For me, this was a pretty close call. Harley is an unabashed stat geek and actually a fairly valuable contributor to the Sports folder, while Inc has been posting much less than usual this year, surely a good sign for him but bad for the rest of us. However, Harley can be a bit overbearing at times with the Boston homerism and geekiness and Inc's still a cool guy, so I'm giving this to him.

EHME- I'm not a huge fan of either, but EHME's cool at times and up until lately has been improving as a poster. Marney, well, is probably dead and I'm not a huge fan of posthumous awards.

Byron- The board's biggest and brightest rising star. Why couldn't he and pbone be matched up? Could be the board's next great feud in the lines of.. Well, I can't really think of one since most of them were pretty one sided. I mean come on, Czech and CronoT? Anyways, I don't know much about Urban Warfare except being a Gator fan and stuff and Byron has made me laugh a couple times uncontrollably this year. Gotta give it to him.

Cheech- Tough call, but I gotta give my fellow Oregonian a lot of love. Czech mentioned it, but the guy might deserve some sort of staff position again soon. I like BZ a lot, just had a tough matchup here.

BRODY- Best Ombudsman TSM has ever had. Also, I don't want to vote for past winners (hell Slayer's won twice).

Thoth- I don't know much about Thoth outside of his ultracompetitiveness in the video games folder, but Ortonsault is kind of a quirky guy. Almost a bit too quirky for my taste. Shame, because the sports blog he runs with Leena is pretty entertaining.

SCOTT KEITH REGION

Kinetic- As much damage as it does to me, the guy is marching on his way to winning this year after just recently coming back on the board. Moreover, he's come on strong in a variety of ways that's made him a real asset to the board, in a lot of different folders. Bad matchup for twisted here, who really deserves a bit more love for having improved as much as he has since a couple years ago when I pissed him off and ran him off the board.

Snuffbox- Between a Packer fan and a Texan fan, I'm taking the former. Snuffy's my guy for a variety of other reasons too, namely the ability to be a great poster while usually writing one sentence posts. Maybe the snarkiest person I've ever seen, and I fully intend that as a compliment.

MATT YOUNG- Has definitely come on strong, although he's had a couple bad moments. Still gets a bit too personal with the board and is kind of naive, but I like him a lot, on and off the board. Probably the best folder in the Video Games section.

Canadian Chris- Runs the death pool, good in the Sports Folder.. Other guy is only known for having an awesome screenname. Doesn't anyone remember him as the guy who had that clown from Metalocalypse as his avatar for a while shaking his hairy ass? That's definitely an improvement, but not over CC.

Mellow- From a guy I knew practically nothing about to a really cool dude who I apparently share dietary habits with, I've grown to really like him as part of the community. I don't know much about UYI these days.

Bored- Czech said it- he's a true sports fan. I like Chris, not a bad guy, but I don't see a lot of him.

Edwin- Jaxl was really awful late in the year and nonexistent for most of it. Edwin's gotten dicked over the past few years with really strange voting outcomes, shame for someone who's probably never made a bad post on the site, nor can I remember being particularly resentful towards anyone here either. Always a good guy.

Fazzle- Has surpassed AndrewTS in the VG folder lately, and I never liked TS much anyways.

KOAB- Happy dude in a striped shirt! I like Still Fly a lot, particularly from us being fellow Santa Claritans, so this was a pretty tough call. Came on late in the year, will probably do great next year. Hopefully that teaching job doesn't affect him like the last well known teacher on here..

Smartly Pretty- A vital fixture of Secret Life chats and I had to look up TheFranchise to remember the guy. Not bad for a youngin'

bob barron- After years of not really caring much for him, I have to say he's been pretty entertaining this year, even with the whole Ombudsman thing. No one on TSM gets picked on more for the way he looks or anything, save for maybe Marvin, and he takes it all in stride. That has to be worth something.

Max- Coin toss here. And Mattdotcom's recent efforts at "getting himself over" weren't very good.

Kamala- Seems like a pretty decent dude, and Cowboy#s is still a Cowboys fan. Likes a lot of crappy hip-hop too.

pbone- This was pretty tough for me here. I share interests with both guys, bikes with pbone and rugby with Dama. Dama's been great ever since he came back to the board, although a couple guys had set him off earlier so he should chill a bit there. pbone is a really valuable poster pretty much everywhere on the board, and man I wish I knew what he did to piss Byron off.

alkeiper- After not being much of a baseball fan until last season, and then really following it this year, I grew to like al a lot more this year than in years past. Luke-o hasn't been as noticeable recently as in years past, guy's probably busy gettin down like in that picture of him that keeps getting posted.

Agent- Huge winner here. Always had been a popular and really good poster, but has in particular been boarding harder than ever before. Another guy that's really popular and doesn't seem to have any enemies on here, plus I share quite a few interests with him. Taking the brunt of and dishing back sports-related gloating and trashtalk is more fun with him than pretty much anyone else on here. He also brought out the Dotel meme.

Kreese- I feel almost criminal doing this. Kotz is one of my favorite guys on here but I can't vote for a guy that pretty much has only shown up during the last month or so- you're not allowed to have a life if you're really boarding hard! Also, Kreese drives the Amy Juergens chats.

Canadian Guitarist- Poor guy is the only golf fan around. Great recipe for chili, too! Cyber Mark is kind of on and off for me.

Treble- I think the tie post was this past year, and he deserves to get out of the first round based on that alone.

Massito- First of all, he's a really likable guy and a decent poster. The kind of guy I would hang out with off the board and probably piss off later due to the fact I can be a neurotic prick sometimes. But mostly I don't think I want to see another BL juggernaut run to the finals again! (And come on, guy's mostly a Pit poster)

Hawk34- I should vote Milky here, I really should. But I need to stay consistent with not voting for guys who've won before. Can't let all that fame and fortune get to his head. Ah, who am I kidding. Hawk34 Milky

909- Another guy who I'm not looking forward to possibly having to face later if we both make it. I like gary "the human boombox" floyd as much as anyone on here, maybe a lot more actually, but 909 takes the cake in a lot of other different folders, even if we disagree in the CE and Mod folders a bit.

Vitamin X- Does not talk on his cell phone while driving.

Lord of the Curry- Tough one for me here, but I have to say I feel bad I still haven't sent this guy a beer yet. Stupid shipping containers. Anyways, gtd is a really interesting poster with one of TSM's best avatars of all times and has a really keen eye on film that makes him invaluable to that folder, yet isn't around as often as I would like. Curry barely takes it here.

Dr. Venkman - Tried what many people wouldn't bother to do - made the WWE folder semi bearable without getting a Pineapple up his arse about it.

Dandy

Harley Quinn - For the simple fact I've heard of this poster, and they once helped me with board code to post youtube videos of English TV show themes.

EHME - Started up the never ending Actor's Draft. Though he does change his name so often that I'm not sure who actually might be now.

Byron the Bulb - Not sure who either of these people are, however, Byron the Bulb sounds better then Urban Warfare, which I imagine could be the name of some silly emo band.

Brooklyn Zoo

Slayer - Can you really advocate Brody as the pinnacle of our board?

Thoth - Take away the T and its Hoth, and that's a bit like Star Wars.

Kinetic - Good poster in the sports folder, however never the Computer Games folder (must have been a Fake Kinetic managed by JR)

Broward83 - Another good Computer Games folder regular, that has recently taken up the Fifa. Kind enough to give extra codes away for free.

Matt Young - Funny poster, deep soothing sexual radio voice... or rape voice. One of the two.

Canadian Chris - English Chris says yes to Canadian Chris... not in the hand of marriage, just in the voting brackets.

Mellow

Bored - Not going to vote for myself, not against Bored anyway. Does a hell of a lot more then I do. Keeps the sports section alive with his Bowl thread. Besides, I support the Browns.

Edwin MacPhisto

Andrew TS - A real tough decision. I fazzle just for this La Parka sig, but Andrew TS does bring something extra to the Computer Games folder. Even if last year was a bit fleeting at times.

KOAB - Voting for a black man so I don't look racist vote.

The Franchise - Us Brits have got to stick together, and even though the Football (Soccer) thread is a bit bare lately, its nice that he keeps it going... and supports Derby.

Smues

Mattdotcom

King Kamala - Has tried various things throughout the year to keep some sections of the board active. His retro PPV watchings was a good idea, and were the Town Halls.

Pbone

Luke-O - Brit Vote alert! Though Al Keiper again keeps the sports strong.

Agent of Oblivion - Always present in the food folder for food goodness and suggestions. Appreciate it.

S.J Kreese - Oh wait, no, it was this guy who started the Actor's Draft. So who the hell is EMHE?

Canadian Guitarist - Pops up now and again with some good thoughts. Not sure I've read a cyber mark post.

King PK - Noticed him in the Games folder a fair bit, plus he usually has some good gif avatars. Yeah, I'm easy if someone has a gif up their sleeves.

Black Lushus - see KOAB

Milky

909 - Even though he supports Liverpool I won't hold that against him.

I uhm...haven't had the La Parka sig for almost 6 months. I've had the Lodi sig since then. However, I think that should be worth even more points, since the La Parka sign was a photoshop, while the Lodi sign is legit.

It was the cheap Photoshop skills that made it funny. Handing your sign to a wrestler to hold up isn't as good. Plus, La Parka is cool.

But...but it wasn't just "hold this." It was planned and discussed for, like, weeks.

But if it'll help get votes, I have much cheaper photoshops of that La Parka image! Much, MUCH cheaper. Including some where people used that signboard as advertising space.
