How about you dumb it down for me, Einstein.

I think I already have, Bubba.

No, no, no

You're calling me pea brained and said I am having trouble grasping it. I am telling you now that I AM having trouble understanding what you are trying to say. Please explain it to me again. Don't pull rank and backtrack, I sincerely want you to repeat yourself.

Actually, I found the coverage to be as low key as you could get for the anniversary for something like this. The majority of it was on the news networks, which it should be.

Getting sick of it? Don't watch CNN, FNC, MSNBC (well, no one watches that anyway), etc. It's just 24 hours.

No, but I didn't understand you're wording. Just break it down for me. Since you're intelligence level is that much greater than mine, this should be an easy excercise for you.

Geez! This day is getting as bad as Christmas is at being commercialized.

I get what you mean now, but the way you worded it DOES sound like you are saying that you believe that September, 11th is getting just as bad as Christmas in terms of it being commercialized.

On a side note.

I found the tributes this morning to be very touching, and it really reminded me of just what is going on in this world. After 9-11, we must always remember. We can never allow one another to simply allow that day to fade into history. It was a moment in time, a series of moments, which have forever shaped the world that we live in.

I hope we continue to show tributes as we saw today. I find it highly important to keep this in mind, especially at this time of the year.

There you go Banky. Please don't make me have to find more creative ways to repeat myself. You dumb son of a bitch.

(Just for the record. I doubt you are really this dumb. But you are doing nothing to make me think other wise.)

And whats so bad about the story? The guy got his heart on 9-11. One person got to live while thousands others died. This story shouldn't make you angry.

It doesn't make me angry. It was just uncalled for. People get heart transplants everyday. Some may beat the reaper by seconds. I just don't think that the story was necessary.

I don't think it should be dwelled on half as much as it is. That being said, we should never forget it. Ever. It's too important & horrific to forget. I just don't like the mentallity where they say it's evil to move on & let life move forward. Let life go on, but never forget the extreme tragedy of it all.

That being said, Johnson is still the Frank Burns of TSM.

Because of its sentamental value on such a tragic day. It was something good that happened on such a horrendous day.

Fine, but tell it on CNN. I don't want to hear about it on ESPN.

Johnson can't be bothered with other people's pain. He can only be bothered by his pain, which usually comes in the form of his "six-figure clients" pounding his ass. Hey, he's gotta keep 'em satisfied somehow...

In all seriousness, how hard is it to give up one day of television to reflect on one of, if not the, greatest tragedy of our nation? I'm not asking as the guy who likes flaming you, but out of genuine curiosity.

Are you too lazy to read the thread Skippy? It's all there in black and white.

No, it isn't. You've said that you're sick of the coverage and you think it's too much, and you wanted it limited to other channels. What you haven't said is why it being so overcovered makes you so mad, and why you have to watch television on this day. Please elaborate. And save the "skippy" crap and the name calling for the other threads. This is a bigger issue.

It annoys me, kind of like you. That's the best reason I can think of. I also never said the over coverage made me mad.

And this is NHB, so you'll just have to deal with the name calling ass pilot.

Fair enough. I read into it and figured it made you mad. You're still an idiot, by the way.

Johnson, if you don't like it, watch something else. Its a significant historical event now where many innocent people lost their lives. It will be covered extensively for a very long time. Look at ANZAC day in Australia and NZ, it is a rememberance day. We have these days because we don't want to forget.

Doesn't matter, but i can safely say Dames is Henry Blake (fuck Potter). Which would make Barron Radar?

Now i feel extremely disturbed after actually THINKING about MASH-TSM comparisons. I'll drink that away with a bottle of cough syrup.

Johnson, you do know that most of all major networks come out of NYC and DC? You know that the biggest market is NYC? You know the biggest story yesterday is 9-11? You do know that even if you weren't in NYC, you felt the effects of it? IE: Seeing the ploom of where the buildings were and breathing the dust of it for 4 days. You know that it is a major event were 261 are known to be dead but still missing near 2000+ you know that most of those bodys will never be found? You know that they don't know what to do with the site at all? You know that ESPN is out of Connecticut and that they know that more imporant things go on in the worl than the score of the Mets game?

You don't get it, do you. People want to move on, some have, some have not. It effected ALOT of people in the world, and in America. My best friend's mom works in NYC. At the UN building, and she was what 12 blocks away from everything. She saw EVERYTHING LIVE. You can't just forget that. Seeing thousands die right in front of your face is nothing to easily forget. You stupid sack of shit.

If you hate what you see on TV, pick of a basketball and play a game or shoot around. Or better yet, read a book and learn something you retard. It isn't something to forget like the blackout in Aug. If you want to not like the NONSTOP coverage that was only major in NYC, DC, and the news networks(damn them for talking about the biggest news story in America since WW2), here is another good idea to do, don't watch and SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT.

Fuck you and all the media coverage of 9/11. There are more important things to talk about today.

That was yesterday and today is not 9/11. So I could give a shit less about it now.

Of course I'd be sad and I'd mourn, but I wouldn't want it to be a media frenzy 2 years after the fact.

And nothing happened yesterday, you misunderstood what I was saying.

But you being a ignorant bitch transends all space and time.

You want to ignore history because it cost you 10 minutes on ESPN. 250+ channels and you are bitching about having to watch someone remember the single biggest news Item in over 50 years. You are a fucking moron.

It happened two freaking years ago. People still bitch about Bret getting screwed on this forum, and that happened further back in time. It dumb shits like you that don't appreciate the freedoms that we have. You take shit for granted and you are the exact person that needs to be tuning in to see the cost that some people paid for being AMericans. But it stops you from having coverage on the Mets game so you bitch about it.

I hope you never reproduce, because it would be my luck that I'd have kids sitting next to the dumb ass offspring that you have and are forced to listen to there stupid comments and then call everyone that notices how stupid they are "pea-brained"

And as for your little analogy, you didn't compare 9-11 to anything else so you did call it commercialized.

_______ of 9-11 = Commercializing of Christmas. Unless you fill in the blank you are calling 9-11 commercalized. Learn to make a fucking analogy or shut the fuck up.

First off it's "being an ignorant", moron.

Second off, you are putting words in my mouth. Did I say forget about it? I said there is too much media coverage, and there is.

Third, like I said last night, I was comparing the extent of the two, moron.

Fourth, I am well aware of the sacrifices and losses. I realized them two years ago and I will never forget. I don't need to be reminded every fucking year, moron.

Fifth, I have a 3 year old, oh wait she is actually 2 years 9 months. Just so you don't think I "made" her up, moron.

Now I understand the fact that 9/11/01 was one of the darkest days in American history and that today is the anniversary, but damn. I think it's time we get on with our lives and stop harping on something that can't be changed.

Do you even undertand what you typed you fucking idiot?

You said as seen ^ that we should move on and stop harping (I assume you mean talking) about the events since we can't change what happened.

You are saying we should ignore and just not talk about the biggest event in this countries history since WWII. Maybe we should stop talking about Vietnam. Hey, We talk about getting our independance every year on the 4th of July, why not just forget that.

The anniversary of Pearl Harbor, still is talked about every year. Why won't these people move on? You have 364 days a year not to hear about 9-11 but on the ANNI-FUCKING-VERSY of the event, you want them to not say anything then too.

You got married (supposedly), do you tell your wife you are tired of talking about that day EVERY FUCKING YEAR. So far you have had to endure 2 9-11 anniversaries. OH THE HORROR.

And WHAT happened TODAY that is bigger than 9-11.

And just stop replying.

You suck at Internet.

I know The Cell was released, but I still wouldn't call it the darkest day in history.

When Eagan469 gets the better of you, even as a bandwagon-jumper, it's time to throw in the towel.

As Ripper said, some people just plain sukc at teh Itnernet.
