  1. Just thought I would add to this mighty internet testament of the fanbase's rage with Cole by saying, to any gamers out there, I have the Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 on Xbox 360, Micheal Cole literally sounds worse than any announcer or commentator I have ever heard. There is no excitement, there is very little recognition of what's going on in the match, the "jokes" fall flat every time, it's a terrible, awful mess and makes the matches slow and stagnant. And when you perform a leg drop, he just says "There's Legdrop." Like Legdrop is the name of some mid-carder doing a run in. "There's Legdrop." Plus he gave away the fucking PPV when Austin won his first title I believe it was, when there was a commercial between matches for WWEShopZone merchandise or something, it had an Austin shirt or something, a new one, and Cole said, "Get this amazing all new [item] of the BRAND NEW WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION!" or some such. This was a few matches before the main event and of course, Austin won that night. Fucking Cole.

What are your thoughts on Wrestlers Rescue ?

The connection to the names Missy Hyatt and Dawn Marie do not inspire my confidence for the long term feasability of this business.

    Who gave the Best/Worst promo

I would say Foley cut some great promos in his day, Austin is always hilarious and may be the most popular guy in the business, The Rock practically sunk as Rocky Maivia then he took over on the mic and became a Legend. Santino Marella I think will be one of the greats someday soon, his mic skills and comedic timing are amazing. Sid is awful at promos, Vaders promos are rarely more than WHOS THE MAN ARG, though I love that about him, so I am not sure if it counts. Benoit is probably the worst I have heard on a mic.

    A late RIP

Rest In peace, Owen. I will always think he represents everything good about the business, from his being a family man to his hilarious ribs. He was undoubtedly one of the best if not the best technical wrestler that I have ever seen, his matches were extraordinary. I miss his style, his grace, athleticism, accuracy, his promos, everything about him. It is sad the way he had to die, and sad that he died prematurely. He would surely still be wrestling to this day were he alive and had many great years ahead of him. I will always miss him, and I remember the day I heard he had died, a piece of my heart died too, just as a fan, I never knew him, but I still miss him a decade later just as badly when I think of him. RIP my friend. Thanks for the years of entertainment.
