    TNA Impact 5/21/09

Yeah, the opening three way tag match wasn't that solid really, so I guess I'm glad that isn't booked on the ppv. Suicide (Kaz I would presume) against Daniels should be good though, hopefully. As usual with TNA, the stuff that sticks in my head from these shows is some of the unintentional humor, or maybe they are trying to be funny a bit but it comes off so hokey and cheesy that it works. Couple examples of this I've seen so far is Scott Steiner's goofy ass shit (running scared from the rafters, etc) and one of those TNA vignettes that make you just go WTF and then laugh at the absurdity of it with Nash and Booker in the ring "training" for the ppv by working shitty spots against each other in an empty arena, with some off the wall promos being cut by both guys. One part of Bookers ramblings made no sense whatsoever and I'm still not even sure I understood WHAT he even f'n said. Nash is now acting like he's the toughest guy around. For some reason, I laughed my ass off at the Eric Young/Jarrett interview in the back as well even though I'm sure that wasn't the intention. Oh well. Oh god, and how horrible was Lauren the interviewers skit with Abyss?!! Unbelievably bad to a whole new level of such. I'm not sure if I should laugh at her or cringe at her acting skills. Bitch, just go to porn, you'd be better off. Same for Jenna Morasca, who has no place on a wrestling show whatsoever. I'm interested to see how far they go with putting this British Invasion team over (I could see them getting the belts imminently), and seeing Beer Money saving the Dudleys from a beatdown was kind of weird but I like that they are keeping this respect storyline going with those two teams. I tend to agree that the tag division is much better right now than it's been in TNA for quite a while, as I saw alot of decent work in the tag tournament to warrant some praises to the division as a whole. And since they pretty much have the unofficial X Division tag champs now with MCMGs, it seems to force the company to push the tag teams better than usual. They did book some strong matches on paper with Young/Sting, Jarrett/Joe, and Morgan/Angle, but none had enough time to mean anything unfortunately. Very basic wrestling matches here. In fact, not nearly enough actual in-ring action on this show, as usual. These Foley/Borash interactions every week get more and more annoying, like in a "why is this even being put on TV" unentertaining. So there is a clear difference between god awful shit on this show that makes you laugh and stuff like Foley/Borash which just makes you want to change the channel because it's just so lame. Kind of like 90 percent of WWE "comedy" attempts. This really wasn't a good night for Foley other than the opening promo with Jarrett, as that Rocky angle was ten million times of retarded. Wow, so was that basically the only segment Cornette has done in like a month, being moderator of a lame contract signing with Kong and Love? What a waste all around that whole segment was. The least they could do with Cornette is have him be a third wheel on the announcing crew with Tenay and West (who is going uber-heel right now but still sounds like he's reading from a script sometimes). Oh and Angelina Love looked like a trashy version of Ashley Massaro, which is saying alot. This segment also didn't warrant a replay of it after the commercial whatsoever. Kong has taken out refs about a dozen times now, it seems like. As all over the place that this show was, I still think they have a pretty solid lineup for the ppv, and that main event is pretty strong for what I figured was going to be a throwaway pay per view. But they did a very noneffective job of selling the pay per view on this show, however. The undercard has potential on paper, fortunately. Finally getting Joe/Nash, which most certainly can go either way, and I'm betting more on the bad side. Styles/Booker in an I Quit match could be strong, so we'll see. They are also trying out a hardcore Monster's Ball match with Daffney and Taylor Wilde which is a bit strange.

Yeah, Jericho, if you ask me, is easily the best North American heel hands down right now in all of wrestling.

WWE General Discussion - May 2009

Being bumped to have to tape the show a freaking day earlier from the same arena is not "accepting they are not in the same league at the NBA", it's more Vince's pride of "how dare they" and then as such, any sort of negotiations are pointless when there are attitudes like that. True businessmen can still work through personal grudges, etc. I'm not disputing that Kroenke fucked up, but two wrongs don't make a right. All I'm saying is that Vince and the company as a whole were, initially, the ones who were getting fucked over, but then the way Vince handled it pretty much negated any sympathy. WWE still could have made this work for both them AND the fans to be still happy by just moving Raw to the night before (Sunday evening) as was presented to them as an alternative. But Vince refused. He's just as bad as the other side with an attitude like that, as he (not this Nuggets owner) fucked over the Colorado fans at that point by refusing the offer, and THEN going ahead and cancelling TWO OTHER shows in Colorado that didn't need to be cancelled or switched whatsoever. I would be in 100 percent agreement with you that this Denver owner screwed everyone over by the double booking of the arena, but the only thing that really was the mistake was that he should have prepared WWE in advance more of the potential of this happening with the Nuggets in the playoffs. But they have every right to have the Nuggets play that evening, mostly because the guy who owns the arena also owns the damn team. So it's really hard to argue with that one logically other than he should have warned WWE about the potential situation much sooner. But this guy cannot be blamed for the levels of ridiculousness this has taken from there. And the WWE didn't have to cancel Colorado Springs, nor even have to really leave the Pepsi Center at all. He just would have had to tape Raw on Sunday night, and not ONE SINGLE person who got a ticket to that show originally would have to miss it. With that said, it still doesn't excuse the aftermath of this, which has just essentially turned into Vince trying to use this bad PR that makes the company looks like the real assholes here by moving to Los Angeles just to "stick it" to this guy and his basketball team. Anyone find it a bit ridiculous that they are in LA and want to COMPETE with a Lakers playoff game? Think about the hypocrisy about that when you really think about it. He wants people to tune into Raw to lure them away from the Lakers game and go to Raw live instead of staying home and watching their home team play the Nuggets, yet praise the Lakers at the same time and do the show in their home arena. It doesn't really make that much sense when you think of it logically.

Yeah, it definately is time for Dreamer to stop working matches. He's always fit the hardcore style more than anything though, and given that he is only allowed to work a fraction of that style at anytime, he just honestly doesn't bring much to the table other than a nostalgic ECW chant from the crowd. With that said, they need to put him in against Christian and/or Swagger at the ppv for the title for one last shot, and definately not win the title (the potential momentum for that idea was lost months ago) but have him take one last huge bigspot in that match so he goes out the way he probably wants to, and make the match a falls count anywhere match for the ECW title (essentially the whole "extreme rules" stipulation to ECW matches that has now been eliminated and is just a name for the ppv). And then as suggested, make him ECW GM, that Tiffany chick needs to be in a different role in the company immediately, maybe as an annoying heel valet or something. As far as the show tonight, I actually enjoyed it alot more than Raw or ECW this week, and it was probably the best Superstars show yet to date. The ECW title match wasn't much, but I did like the other two matches alot.

Yes, Vince should have accepted the offer to tape Raw on Sunday from Pepsi Arena. Clearly. They have taped Raw on Sundays before (in fact I even went to one here in Minneapolis, the one that inadvertently became the Eddie Guererro tribute show) and being "live" versus on a one day tape delay really isn't affecting anyone in the big scheme of things, in fact it's probably a bit cheaper for the company to do so. And it's a shot at the fans because people who got tickets to the Denver show (and now also Loveland and Colorado Springs) don't get to check out the shows since they have all been rescheduled or now cancelled, in this case. If they would have just done the Raw taping on Sunday, all of the fans who purchased tickets to Raw in Denver would have been able to have the chance to still see it, and really, all it would have costed the company was to eliminate the Loveland house show for Sunday (or just move it to Monday instead) and an extra night of staying in and around the Colorado area for the workers.

WWE General Discussion - May 2009

You dont get it do you? You dont see the big picture in all this. Vince could have easily excepted Sunday Night in the Pepsi Center but what fun would that be? Sure the fans that paid to see Raw would be happy but then everyone would have pretty much stopped talking about the situation. Thats not what Vince wants. If you have been following WWE for any extended length of time you should know by now Vince never wants people to stop talking about WWE. He loves publicity and makes a Billion Dollar living off of it. By having the show moved to the Staples Center...home of the Lakers, it adds a ton of publicity to the situation and people are gonna tune in to watch and see what the big deal is. I mean look at what a "storyline" this has unexpectedly turned out to be. Its great. Its got people talking. Its fun. Vince was on ESPN right after Raw ended holding up a Kobe Bryant jersey, the next day the situation is all over the news. New York Times, LA Times, Miami Herald, San Fransisco Chronicle, Boston Herald, CNN, Forbes, CNBC, ESPN, TMZ, Fox, NBC, The AP, Smarks, Marks, National News, Local News, pretty much every major media outlet has reported on the situation. PTI on ESPN had a discussion about it. Usually the only time outside of Wrestlemania that the mainstream media including Sportscenter is talking about WWE is when a death is involved. Its great, free, unexpected publicity. Like I said Vince could have easily excepted Sunday night in Denver..but what fun would that be? Instead he chose to move Raw to the Denver Nuggets opponents house! They could have chose alot of different places to hold the show but going to the Lakers house makes this a great angle for Vince and as a fan its fun to watch it unfold. The atmosphere in LA on Monday should be electric. LA always has a decent crowd but seeing all the drama surrounding the situation, and there team being in the playoffs, and WWE choosing to have Raw there at the last minute over Denver is gonna make for a very fun Monday Night. I would think they are gonna put on a really good show and make sure everyones on point because alot of very casual fans will probably tune in just to see whats going on. They already have a huge 10 man tag match booked with a "5th player" to join Cenas team. I wouldnt be surprised if they popped a 4. something on this show. You gotta be a real grinch to not enjoy watching this unfold. OMG it's so exciting!!! You're missing MY point completely, he's screwing over the people who bought tickets to any of those Colorado shows.

WWE General Discussion - May 2009

Just when you thought this Denver nonsense couldn't get anymore insane comes this latest news...and to stick it to Colorado even more, even the Sunday house show is off now.....from Meltzer.... "Both sides are unhappy, as apparently while Vince was going around bad mouthing Stan Kroenke, his people were in negotiations and reached a verbal agreement yesterday where Raw would move to Sunday night at the Pepsi Arena. After reaching the verbal agreement, and agreeing to put out a joint press release today, WWE stopped returning the calls from the people at the Pepsi Center, who then found out he backed out of the deal to do the show in Los Angeles instead. Raw will be headlined by a Lakers vs. Nuggets spoof ten-person match. While not specified, the main event on the show is Randy Orton & Big Show & Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes & Miz vs. Batista & John Cena & MVP & Jerry Lawler and a fifth person." How absolutely stupid is this? The Pepsi Center was going to just switch the date to the night before (which means they would have had to cancel that house show on Sunday, but oh well) and then the company acts like this and bails on the deal? How classless is that, and Vince has the gall to critisize them? Then to top it all off, a Lakers v. Nuggers spoof ten man tag? Are you kidding me? Vince has a knack for stupid PR if you ask me, that makes him look more like the idiot than the other side.

    ECW 5/19

I think they might do Dreamer/Swagger/Christian at the ppv, or maybe even play this dumb "Tiffany holding Jack back" angle out and just do Dreamer/Christian at the ppv in what would basically be Dreamer's retirement match. Kozlov is one of those guys that is just going to suck no matter how you package the guy. Their best shot was how they originally had him as a sambo quasi-shootfighter of sorts, but once he started to become exposed badly against some of the bigger main eventers (because he was so green) his potential was killed right then and there.

WWE General Discussion - May 2009

I call serious dick move by Vince on this whole Denver thing. Not that I don't think it's fucked up and wrong that they got shafted out of the Denver Pepsi Center even though a contract was signed, but Vince needed to still be busy savvy with the decision on where to move the show so that as little of the people that purchased tickets already would still have been able to go to the show. Now he ruined any chance to actually sue the Pepsi Center (and he would have probably won) when he basically did the same thing - pulled out of the date last minute, which just hurts the people who already got tickets. Would it have been so hard to just have ran from Colorado Springs for Raw AND Smackdown tapings instead of cancelling the Colorado Springs date for no good reason (essentially turning into a huge hypocrite on the whole issue) and then moving both shows to Los Angeles? Good way to piss off your fans in Denver and Colorado Springs, Vince. Now nobody in the nearby Colorado area can go to either show unless they want to head to LA. I'm sure the idea behind moving to Staples Center is to show support for the Lakers or some retarded shit like that. That's not coincidence they are heading there.

    ECW 5/19

I thought the show was a huge stepdown in how it normally is. Most weeks we at least get it worthwhile to sit through the show, and this week seemed more like a chore to. Opening angle w/ Swagger and the Christian/Burchill match was sadly the high point of the hour, and it wasn't even that great. Then came Zach Ryder (who is definately screaming jobber to me) and Kozlov segments which were hard to sit through. Then came one of the most brutally slow and boring ECW main events in probably the history of the show if you ask me. The match was moreless one big rest hold for the most part, and went almost 20 minutes. WHY???!! What a letdown from that great debut for the new Hart Foundation last week.

I did notice that too, am wondering if maybe he thought he was bleeding prior hardway and was checking his head, perhaps he banged it good just prior somehow. As far as it sounds, blading is completely banned right now in the company.

WWE General Discussion - May 2009

Two pretty interesting news bits today worth posting.... *Also lots of problems with next Monday's Raw. The event was scheduled for the Pepsi Center in Denver, but the Denver Nuggets, the arena's prime tenant, were scheduled for a home playoff game that night with the Los Angeles Lakers. Raw is going to have to be moved. The secondary Denver Coliseum is a problem because it is believed the advance is more tickets than the Coliseum would hold for a taping. Plus, the whole conversion of tickets is a disaster. As of the last word, no decision has been made and no refunds are being offered. Ticketmaster acknowledged the situation noting the arena and WWE are working together to come up with a solution but the Nuggets are playing Monday night at the arena. *WWE sent out a survey as they are planning a PPV where all the main event matches on the show will be submission matches. The four ideas for titles they are polling are WWE Submission Sunday, WWE Submit & Quit, WWE Breaking Point and WWE Total Submission. ---One would think that WWE will just move Raw to another location close to Denver (such as Colorado Springs, etc) but that's quite a strange situation there. ---Not sure how well recieved a submissions only ppv would fly. They should try it on a weekly show for one week instead, preferably Smackdown.

That was a really strong match to close the show as the main event, thankfully they didn't end the show with Cena/Show or even Batista/Orton, as this was main event level in execution in the ring, whereas Batista/Orton didn't have that, but had the Flair deal goin for it. Overall, other than Cena/Show, this was one hell of a show actually. That finish was wild in Edge/Hardy and some fun bigspots in the match with the dives off and over the guardrailings, and good to see they are probably doing another big gimmicked Matt/Jeff match at Extreme Rules, had a feeling that was inevitable given the "extreme" moniker of the ppv. That pay per view seems to be the proper place to do one final match between the brothers.

    Judgment Day 2009 Thread

That was pretty much the lame ass shit I expected from Show/Cena. So slow and predictable formula to it. It felt like it moved at a snail's pace in spots. Not much better than they were in their program back in 04. So far, that is really the only under average stuff on this show. Everything else easily was better than that waste of time. Even the Miz segment was better if you ask me. Michael Cole's oversell of Cena in the aftermath made me a little annoyed too. I'm expecting big things out of Hardy/Edge for some reason, and the ending of this show in general.

    Judgment Day 2009 Thread

Flair most definately has to be coming back to the company now and will probably be working a match by the end of the summer at this rate, if not by Night of Champions perhaps, against Orton. You could tell he was "feeling it" by the response he got and it seems like they will be doing an Evolution Redux against Legacy, with Flair and HHH returning to the ring both within months here. I think they should still turn Batista at some point too, and Flair and HHH can both play effectively against him as a heel. Other than the awesome unexpected Flair run-in, that title match was pretty awful seeing Orton go that chickenshit heel to the point of getting DQed versus actually being a sneaky and smart heel by picking the right spot and finally getting the win out of the rest of the match playing coward otherwise. There's a fine line there in effective heels (ironically, just ask Flair) and when you put Orton in that role of being too chickenshit that he has to slap a ref to get DQed, that's just stupid if you ask me. But all the same, hilarious that Batista keeps up that streak of being just schmozed out of a title win on ppv, and that same stupid look everytime after the bell finishes the match. I suppose a rematch will happen with some gimmick attached at the next ppv. All the same, this was a pretty cool Flair moment there, signifying that rumored return "itch" is for real. Rey/Jericho definately did end up being a hell of a match, an unexpected run-in like that with Flair keeps the solid to really good streak of stuff on this pay per view, but so far this Cena/Show match is just tedious as hell and boring.

    Judgment Day 2009 Thread

So far this has been a very good pay per view. Undercard has been strong and its in Chicago so its a great crowd that's responding well to good stuff. I wasn't even going to order this until Smackdown got me sold on their side of the matches on the show on Friday. Umaga/Punk was an excellent opener and probably even better than I expected. Swagger/Christian wasn't at the level of some of their other bouts, but it still told a story well. Morrison/Benjamin was a really solid match as well, and the Miz segment even delivered for "segments that aren't matches but are on ppv anyway" standards. So far Jericho/Rey is also pretty solid here. Sadly, I still think Batista/Orton is going to be horrible, and Show/Cena also dulls down this show on paper, but I might get surprised if they try to one-up this really strong undercard workrate so far on the show. Otherwise, this show may be reminiscent of a late 90s WCW ppv.........great undercard and lackluster marquee matches. Hardy/Edge should be good though.

    LOST

So I'm watching the finale again a second time (after just getting done checking out that hour recap of the season episode that helped me out as a bit of a refresher on just how tied up some storylines got in this season) and some questions and things popped out here which I figure would make for some good discussion/theories.... -What "question" didn't the pilot answer right? And what is he a candidate for? I may have missed this in a previous episode. -And what exactly is this new groups' deal? Assuming they probably just work for Widmore and were contracted by him to be on that plane, since Widmore found out about it through Ellie Hawking, etc. Interesting to see, as someone said, how the Alana woman knew Jacob prior somehow, and apparently was near death, much like Locke was, when Jacob healed her up. -Sun finds a ring inside the baby carriage from with the intials DS - Matt Young pointed out to me this was in terms of Charlie's band, Drive Shaft, nice nod to the mythology there. -So is the reason WHY they were destined to be on the island (perhaps not as a purpose to help anyone but just themselves) just simply from a cause of Jacob touching them at one point or another? That seems to be assumed reason how they all tie together as far as making it to the island at one point or another. It may be more complex than that or else maybe I'm just over analyzing it (which is probably more likely). What I mean is if Jacob hadn't had a connection/moment/etc when one of the characters was young (ie BEFORE they crash on the island the first time), does that mean that they were kind of drawn to the island accidentally (kind of like an accessory to the pre-destined fates already of people like Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Juliet...) and as a followup to that, when Jacob then finally "touches" them, does that mean they are a sort of a "special" type with a particular purpose? Think of this in terms of how Jacob was with Locke when he fell out the window, the latino chick in the hospital near death, and Hurley running into Jacob in the cab after he got out of jail, and given the guitar, etc. This all probably makes no sense and wish I could explain it better, but I see there having to be a reason why Jacob met people in different certain times in their life and under different circumstances. For instance, I wonder if Kate was destined to the island just simply because she never stopped doing what Jacob told her not to when she was a kid. And Sawyer clearly destined to the island to get past his, well.....past. Then as far as Locke and Hurley, Jacob kind of made them more prophet-like, helping the island selflessly for whatever reason. -What piece of the big puzzle does Richard Alpert play in all of this? -How exactly does him and Jacob transport back and forth from off the island? -So dogs also can be transported back thirty years huh? Not quite getting that. It was nice to see some sort of perhaps closure/final last scene with Bernard and Rose though, all canines aside. -Significance of the picture of what appeared to be a dog laying on the floor in Jacob's cabin? -And why exactly did they feel the need to burn the cabin down? -So the supernatural events when Ben apparently "saw" Jacob was a catalyst to perhaps "releasing" this evil spirit, Jacob's foe? Notice the referencing of the coal line being cut in front of the cabin, or that perhaps may have meant that Jacob himself left the cabin and had to do such to leave it. -Love the foreshadowing before Jacob talks to Locke (and appears to heal him) after the building fall - Everything That Rises Must Converge. -Whats the significance of Jacob doing that rope harnassing stuff in the beginning of the episode? He said something about "it takes a long time to make a thread" so there may be some hidden meaning there. Any potential translation to anything written on the walls in there? -I thought the Juliet flashback with the parents talking about "loving each other but not meant to be together" was awfully ironic and good storytelling to play into her big scene. It seemed to be the singular scene of the finale that didn't include Jacob in a significant flashback from off the island. Not sure if that means anything or not. Clearly, the theme of this show (or at least one of them) is that everyone, or least people who were in some way or form put on that island particularly (and not just by association, if that makes any sense) needs to fulfill a sort of destiny of sorts before they pass on (or in the least, make a significant choice) and her destiny appeared to be to be taken down into that hole or else the bomb would have never gone off and then what would have happened is anyone's guess. Now it appears by her doing that, she may have risked her life doing it, but ultimately saved the island from whatever was about to occur otherwise. Or, basically who really knows. That's the biggest question out of the finale - what exactly went down after that and how did it play into thirty years later. Incredibly well done cliffhanger when you think of all of the layers it encompassed in terms of how one event affects another in a different time. One thing I could see them doing in every episode next season is kind of "fulfill a destiny" of a major character in each show, much like kind of did with Juliet tonight (and perhaps Ben as well). -Jacob right before he gets thrown into the fire - "They're coming..." Hmmm... -How bout that Flash Forward teaser?

I'm not going to get huge into things, but lets just say I was really satisfied with this finale.......as typical with this show, more questions than answers by the end of it, BUT they DID answer a whole hell of alot of other questions that tied up some stuff alot to help understand what this whole island thing is really all about at it's core (faith vs science in Jacob v. whoeverthefucktheotherguyis) but how about the way they got there, really good stuff if you ask me. It really made you think of the "whens and ifs and hows" of alot of things in past seasons......how you thought it was one way when, in fact, it was another (mostly pertaining to everything Jacob). For what it's worth, when Locke's still dead body was shown, I figured immediately that this meant that Jacob was just taking the form of Locke, just like he did as old man Shepard, and as such was just baiting Ben into the room to actually kill Ben, since he was living a lie of himself, etc. Then it went to a whole new level about a minute later with the reveal that it was actually Jacob's yin to his yang, etc, totally caught me off guard. And in a good way. I think when we will look back at this finale, a year from now, we will realize just how well done it was, even to the naysayers who are thinking it was the worst thing ever. Time will tell I guess. But they did really throw out some amazing stuff tonight if you ask me, in terms of the mythology of the series as a whole. Overall, one hell of a season, right up there in the top three for sure.

The OaO Raw Thread For 5/11/2009~!

Second week in a row this show has been completely worthless. Totally made me disinterested in the ppv on Sunday, no way in hell I'm purchasing it, even with them throwing Jericho/Rey in there. I never knew until this week that apparently the Unified Tag Titles can be defended on any of the three brands though. Didn't ever recall them mentionin spent fast forwarding through the nonsense. g that before. Sadly that was probably the only thing I sat through the whole segment (specifically Carlito-Kendrick) to watch, the rest of the show just went nowhere to me. I'm slightly interested to see where they are going with Miz and Cena, but I think it's clear that, more than likely, next week they will finally have an "official" match (and how stupid for them to do an "exhibition" by the way) and Cena squashes him. So much for that. This Batista/Legacy shit is so unbearably dull and lame as well, I just hope it's done after the ppv with those two. The last two weeks of Raw have just been horrible.

    TNA Epics

Yeah, I'd love to hear how they will do the show, what would be cool is if they went in order and aired a condensed version of the first TNA ppv, for example, for the first episode. Kind of like a history of TNA thing.
  21. RedJed

    TNA Epics

I wish we had it in the states since it is basically a Best of TNA show, akin to UFC Unleashed or something. Guess Kurt Angle is going to be hosting it also, besides Foley. Also, some other news about it.....from Meltzer The new TNA Epics TV show debuts this coming Friday night in the U.K. on Bravo at 10 p.m. It'll air clips from old TNA events, including a lot of stuff from the days in Nashville. So it goes head-to-head in that country with Smackdown. -----Perhaps sooner or later TNA could talk Spike into airing this show weekly, I think it would be a nice addition to the product on that channel. The first years in Nashville were more good than bad most weeks when they did the pay per views on Wednesday nights.

ECW Discussion- Cinco De Mayo Edition

So far this week, 0 for 2 on WWE TV.....both Raw and ECW were very mundane shit and honestly, hard to sit through. Smackdown sounds much better sounding from reading the spoilers, and Superstars should be decent with Morrison/Jericho on the lineup. But this was paint by numbers booking to the nth degree tonight in everything presented.

The OaO Monday Night Raw thread for 5/4/09!

Wow, what a horrible two hours that was. Seriously, I nearly fell the fuck asleep during Cena and Big Slow's parade of lame. Same with the handicap match, I don't know if a stretcher job is even justified enough for how ridiculous the Shane takes all three out deal was getting there, why have we had to see this ad nauseum at least 2-3 other times on Raw this YEAR? Its like somehow Shane makes the big comeback and magically beats the living shit out of three supposed "superstars." At least he did the job out tonite, which means no more of this nonsense with him for now. Batista has also gotten to be the biggest nonfactor of a worker in any way, shape, or form nowadays too. I cringe when he does a predictable run-in, goes bonzo gonzo for a bit, blah blah blah. They HAVE to turn this guy heel and quick because there is just nothing going on there at all in how he's being booked. Plus he's acting like he could give a fuck, he reminds me in personality of Kevin Nash from the late 90s, into 2000 of WCW where he just clearly didn't care about shit and is getting the paycheck, simple as that. The argument could be made that Nash isn't doing such still to this day, worse than Batista ever probably could, by the way. But I would be all for Vicki taking him out of the title match since he did technically run out there after the match and just throwing MVP in there for the ppv or something. They would be better off since they do this really weak Batista chase for the title too many times for it to mean shit. What the fuck else even happened on this show other than Jared introducing Divas.....that's how forgettable it was.

Suicide (replacing Paul London) & Amazing Red upset Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley in the tag team tournament The new British heel group of Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams and Rob Terry (a huge bodybuilder) attacked Hernandez. Magnus & Williams b Homicide in a handicap match since Hernandez was inijured Awesome Kong b Madison Rayne in a stretcher match Abyss b Cody Deaner The Motor City Machine Guns came out and claimed that they know who Suicide is, and that it's Daniels. Wait a minute, didn't they watch the PPV and see "Daniels" do that promo backstage while Suicide was on the floor? Daniels came out, didn't answer questions, and beat them both up. Kevin Nash & Booker T b A.J. Styles & Samoa Joe. Joe no-showed but then came out late. He and Styles started arguing because there isn't enough dissension on TNA television. Booker hit Styles with a belt shot for the pin. Styles then blamed Joe and they brawled all over the arena. ---Interesting that they are outright calling Daniels out with the Suicide gimmick, which means Kazarian must be ready soon to return. But kind of a twist using (presumably) Daniels teaming with Amazing Red and that they beat MCMGs since I'm sure the idea is that they will have them work a program now (I hope). Also, Doug Williams is finally being used, but in a stable with Brutus Magnus? Ugh, WTF. If I'm seeing where things are leading, looks like a four way at Sacrifice of Foley (putting the title on the line) v. Angle (MEM leadership) v. Jarrett v. Sting, I would imagine Jarrett puts up his "TNA shares" and Sting may even tease calling it a career if he loses the match. If they build a match like this up, it's almost a shame they are rushing it out next ppv but then again I'm not complaining since I'm sure the same four will work KOTM in Detroit for Slammiversary, along with Joe and Styles, who seem like they may book them in a singles match on the next ppv as well potentially.
