I won't say they 100% won't do it, but the guy is your top money maker. Putting him over on the soon-to-be-a-wasteland SD seems like a dumb plan.

I also found it pretty funny that 1 episode after Sawyer told Jack how he's a better leader, and has got things under control, he ended up running to Jack to help figure out the Sayid situation (only to get side tracked by Kate).

Fine by me! I can't stand the guy, but I don't think you can say Batista "fizzled out". The guy is still over & a draw for the company, he just gets injured a lot. As pointed out, it's not Rey's fault he was booked like complete shit as champ. Let's not forget the guy was crazy over & shown to be a draw before he got the belt, and not just because of the Eddie sympathy. Shelton can't talk, so no way he gets elevated to ME status. He's about as high as he'll go on the card right now. They had no faith in Christian before he left for TNA, what makes you think they've changed their minds now? The only one out of those 3 that has any shot of winning MITB would be MVP, and I still can't see him winning it right now. I don't think they are ready to make him a ME'er yet.

That closing segment was like mainlining pure awesomeness. I would *SO* love it if the crowd completely turned on HHH and backed Orton at Wrestlemania. But, other than the closing segment, and the opening Jericho/Flair segment, everything in between was pretty boring.
