I think second would be the Fully Loaded 00 match against Benoit, which I rated the same. I never saw the Jericho match at No Mercy 2001, but I'd imagine it was in the same range. Rock has had a lot of good matches, but the only ones I'd call ****+ are the two Benoit ones and Austin WM 17 match.

And although I haven't seen it in a long while, I thought Vs. HHH from Judgement Day 2k was up there, too. Hmm...him and Angle had tons of enjoyable matches, but I don't think any of them ever got to ****'s, in my opinion. Him and Jericho did at Vengence, though.

My favourite WWF match of the Attitude Era (not counting Hart/Austin from WM XIII that was the beginning of it). Also a huge markout moment for me, as I had waited 4 years for Austin to turn heel after putting up with his bastardized face character for so long. 2. The Rock vs. Triple H (Judgment Day 2000) Best Iron Man match I have seen (which doesn't include Flair/Hart or Hart/Hart). The ending was annoying, but I can't forget the other 58 minutes. 3. Mankind vs. The Rock (Royal Rumble 1999) This is just a brutal brawl to watch. I am not a huge fan of garbage wrestling, but this was fantastic. Far more gruesome than HIAC 2. 4. The Rock vs. Chris Benoit (Fully Loaded 2000) Underrated. Better than the HHH/Jericho earlier in the show. The ending didn't bother me, because I didn't want Benoit to win the belt on a DQ anyways. 5. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock (No Way Out 2001) Great match, but Big Show's interference confused me. #3 on Angle's list of best matches. 6. The Rock vs. Chris Jericho (No Mercy 2001) The match that made Jericho a superstar, before HHH crushed him. 7. The Rock vs. Kurt Angle (No Mercy 2000) Not as good as their rematch, but ****+ nonetheless. Once again, I could have done without the interference. 8. The Rock vs. Triple H (Summerslam 1998) Overrated, but still good. The match that made superstars out of both Rock & HHH. 9. Mankind vs. The Rock (St. Valentine Day's Massacre) Mick/Rock is always good. 10. Triple H vs. The Rock (Backlash 2000) Overshadowed by the lengendary Iron Man match.

Rock/Austin, Backlash 99- Infinitely better than it's WM 15 predecessor. 8. Rock/Angle, No Way Out 2001- Pretty good match, but kinda overrated and Big Show's interference pissed me off. 7. Rock/HHH, Backlash 2000- This should have been the main event for WM 2000, not that craptastic 4-way. 6. Rock/Jericho, No Mercy 2001- Damn good match that got Jericho some much needed credibility. 5. Rock/Benoit, Fully Loaded 2000- Great match, but Rock goofed up a couple of times and the swerve with Foley didn't help out much. 4. Rock/Jericho, Vengeance 2001- Better than the first, but wasn't too crazy about the McMahon run-in though. 3. Rock/Jericho, Royal Rumble 2002- Better finish than the first two PPV matches. 2. Rock/HHH, Judgment Day 2000- Great match where both guys showed why they were THE main eventers in 2000. 1. Rock/Austin, WM 17- Great story told in the ring and the crowd was just ELECTRIC for it.

I can't believe people actually think Rock/Shamrock was ****'s. I thought it was ***'s at most. Incredibly over-rated. Just because it was Match of the Night that night doesn't mean it was a fantastic match. If anything, it just proves that everything else that night completely sucked.
