Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Stacy Getting Heat Backstage From WWE Management For those of you who read the Ross Report at WWE.com this week, JR wrote the following: "Some days I wonder if being a WWE Diva is a blessing or a curse. Should be a blessing but some have certainly challenged that theory. Of course, my theory could be wrong." This message was aimed towards Stacy Keibler. Ross and other members of WWE management are said to be down on Stacy right now because she has been showing up late and sometimes no showing scheduled workout sessions. Stacy is apparently fully aware that she is under a lot of heat, but feels that there is nothing she can do about it, because she has one of the most demanding schedules of any WWE wrestler/talent. She has to work WWE house shows, do Diva photo shoots, continue training to improve as a wrestler, and do a lot of WWE promotional work. Also, as she becomes a bigger star, many are starting to dislike her and feel that she is growing the same attitude that Sunny and Sable grew back in their day. She feels she needs time off but doesn't plan to ask for it. However, to give her some sort of break, she has been replaced on some house shows by Dawn Marie. Credit: 411wrestling.com/1wrestling.com
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Jim Ross also said this on the Ross Report, "I saw something written the other day about our talents' road schedule and how many dates they are going to be working, blah, blah, blah, and it amazes me to think that some people feel our talents are treated like field hands who will be punished if they ask for a few days off. Our house show schedule is ambitious, and no one expects anyone to make each booking without having the opportunity to recharge the batteries when needed. When talents are not used on a house show tour, there are questions as to why -- in as much as what the "real" reason for the "unbooking." And now when they are booked full-time there are questions as to the intense workload of four days on and three days off. As my grandpa used to say, "Cut off my legs and call my Shorty." Or damned if you do and damned if you don't." I wonder if any of that was towards Stacy? God Forbid she ask for a day off. Maybe if they took better care of their talent then people like Austin and the Hardy's wouldn't get burnt out.
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Vince must be jealous she is boinking Test. Or maybe he wants to give her to Shane(because she is younger than his real wife and we all know how Vince likes to clone himself through his descendants).
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 How long before Test gets punished for this and some on here start calling it "An other failed Test push?"
Guest RickyChosyu Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 You know, I have to wonder what would happen if Stacey just now decided to ask for time off. The Ross Report has been used so management can talk out both sides of their mouth before, so I wouldn't be suprised if they turned right around and labled her a whiner for wanting time off. Just like Ross said, dammed if you do, dammed if you don't.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 How long before Test gets punished for this and some on here start calling it "An other failed Test push?" It was doomed to fail anyway.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 No way! This "Team Canada" angle can be good IF used right.
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Besides, having Storm and Christian working closely with you can only help. Unless you need help with striking(sorry Lance).
Guest RickyChosyu Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 How long before Test gets punished for this and some on here start calling it "An other failed Test push?" It was doomed to fail anyway. Add Jericho the the group, give it enough time, and everyone in the group will get over, including Test.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 I still say Jericho would end up stealing the spotlight and making the other three just a bunch of flunkies or jobbers..but that's me.
Guest AM The Kid Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Keep Jericho out, turn Edge into a badass heel and have him join.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 Bleh... if the WWF creates another Sunny/Sable with Stacy, it's their own fault. Not hers. Heck, maybe Stacy wasn't meant to be that much of a wrestler, if it takes too much time, then cut back on her training for that. or cutback on her photoshoots.

I don't know why WWF pushes these non wrestling chicks to actually wrestle, especially if they don't have the inclination to. Yes, I hate seeing women stand around doing nothing. But I hate the bra and panties matches even more.
Guest DrTom Posted July 8, 2002 Report Posted July 8, 2002 "Ross and other members of WWE management are said to be down on Stacy right now..." Lucky devils. I knew JR was just in it for the fine-ass pussy!

But I hate the bra and panties matches even more. Yea, I mean its a waste of my time... hell, I want to see shirtless sweaty men, dammit, not women! That's what wrestling is all about Seriously though, I doubt Stacy would ever become anything resembling a decent wrestler, and since her entire appeal is based on her looks, why bother with anything but that? It's sad to think that I'm actually OK'ing objectification for the first time in this case, but the women's division is enough of a joke already. The less incapable wrestler's the better... I mean when a women's title match is a "Gravy Bowl" match between Trish Stratus and Stacy Keibler that's just sad. But hey, if she "gets out of shape" (i.e. gains five pounds) they can just rehash the pregnancy angle, right?
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 I'd Like to give Stacy Heat. *Loud groans that quickly turn into boos*
