Guest 4Life Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 "I just heard from a few sources backstage at Raw that Kevin Nash did indeed suffer a knee injury during the main event of the show. He was in a lot of pain backstage after the show and from what I was told, WWE officials were working on getting a surgery date for him as soon as possible. We will be working on getting more details on this story as it develops. "
Guest Anglesault Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Well, hopefully it won't end his career. I don't wish that on him.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Well, that's just mean. Excrutiating pain and long physical therapy is one thing, but to wish for someone to be out of a job is just wrong.

Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Nash won't lose his job. If he has surgery, he can just keep doing what he's been doing since the last time he was injured.
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 If what Dave is reporting is true, his carrer is over.
Guest bsrizpac Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Much as I dont' like Dave, why would he lie?
Guest Choken One Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Nash won't be fired because of a Injury (Vince would have no case) but It will keep Nash out of the TV for at least 6 weeks and add on Therpy as well. It can only mean on thing as for NwDxo...HHH MUST Join. Because Show/Pac/HBK isn't gonna work.
Guest Daredevil21 Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 You all do realize that Nash is too old to go through something like this right? If he needs surgery and rehab, he is done. One of the things that you need to get through something like that is motivation, something Nash has never really had, so face it, he's finished. He should have retired long ago, but he didn't and he's just now finding out why he should have. I don't wish a man's career to end, but hey, it happens to the best of em...and Nash.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Yeah, HHH is pretty joining the NWO after this. Really, what else can they do?
Guest RickyChosyu Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 His wrestling career may as well have been over since his debut in the WWE, so I doubt any wrestling he'll be able to do in the future is worth the pain of rehibilitation.

Guest RicFlairGlory Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Yeah, HHH is pretty joining the NWO after this. Really, what else can they do? Have Shawn Michaels wrestle for the next 8 months? :::laughs:::

Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 If it's going to be a quick rehab (a few months), I think he can do it. But if it's going to be a long haul -- like a year -- then I think it's over for Big Daddy Cool.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Lesnar, I wouldnt think that threatens a career-ending injury, I think that paralyzes Michaels, the way the Kliq's luck has gone...
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Just thought of something...Nash could do commentary if he can't wrestle. Remember, he did that several times on Thunder a few years back and the consensus was that he stole the show.

Remember, he did that several times on Thunder a few years back and the consensus was that he stole the show. and wouldn't that be a bad thing right now? We don't need Kevin Nash on commentary cutting down evreybody else's credibility just to make himself look funny. If you want to make yourself look funny, be Vinnie Vegas and go do stand up.
