Guest art_vandelay Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 The following is a statement released from Kevin Nash's website, www.kevinnash.net: "Kevin Nash has injured his quad muscle on Raw this evening and is scheduling surgery at this time. More will be posted later." Also Kevin Nash is flying to Alabama to meet with Dr. James Andrews in the morning to get an MRI on his quad muscle. Dr. Andrews will inform Nash about what the process will be to heal the injured quad. The downside of this whole injury is that Nash didn't even know he was wrestling tonight till he arrived at the building. He was scheduled to return this weekend at upcoming house shows and then return to Raw next week. Reports say Nash didn't even have his ring gear with him, as it had to be shipped to him earlier in the day. My God, they even got the walk up the ramp right. Coming in January - U2 Nash Desire videos.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Well, except that the part of the referees holding the injured guy up was played by Show and Slaughter. And X-Pac, who was no dount playing Stephanie, needed to be back a couple of steps.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 My God, they even got the walk up the ramp right. Coming in January - U2 Nash Desire videos. Well, I for one demand that they pick something off of The Joshua Tree this time, or I'm Boycotting Raw, dammit!!!
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 HBK was playing David Lee Roth... oh... wait.... probably Austin.
Guest art_vandelay Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 If I remember correctly, Austin was in the ring playing to the crowd. Was it just me, or did HBK looked pissed? Like he felt that Nash let him down or something.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 I mentioned it before, HBK looke LIVID, and he didn't bother checking on Nash. I don't know, he was playing Tony Garea or something.
Guest Army Eye Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 He has a history of being pissed whenever a spot is blown or something doesn't go according to script. He was probably pissed because the match was fucked, and/or not exactly being pissed at Nash letting him down, but at Nash's rotten luck. Just speculation of course.
Guest alfdogg Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 HBK did check on Nash. Army Eye posted a picture of it in one of the threads.
Guest bob_barron Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 They should play Mothers of the Dissapeared. For no reason.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 You know whos fault this is...you just don't want to admit it because he's a smark favorite BUT Answer me this: Why is it EVERY TIME a Kliq member tears his quad... Benoit is in the ring? The CRIPPLER!!!!!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Why is it EVERY TIME a Kliq member tears his quad... Benoit is in the ring? It was nice knowing you. I thought was weird was when the injury happened, HBK responded by pulling Goldust out and sending him into the steps.. Whaaaaaa?
Guest Brian Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Or Booker T? Wasn't he starting to get over before he looked weak and jopbbed for like the millionth time. From now on, fuck RVD his moment is gone, it Booker's time.
Guest Choken One Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 Again...HBK did check on Nash...but It seems Nash told Shawn to finish the match.
Guest Ripper Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 The first thing EVERYONE in the ring did was check on Nash. HBK got all professional and finished the match, and even cut the promo after the match that he was suppose to.
