Just thought I would point out that it is reported that Nash suffered the exact same injury as Trips did last year. The difference? Nash squeals in pain and lies on the mat like a dead man, and Triple H gets up, ,and not only finishes the match, but takes the Walls Of Jericho! I mean I know alot of us are not exactly Triple H marks, myself included, but I thought that deserved a look.

I've been in Nash and HHH's position before and It's worse then a Car Accident (then there too) or a 2nd degree burn (been there). I applaud HHH for having the strength to carry on the match.

Well, HHH had been in the match for about 10 minutes before he tore his quad. He had Adrenaline running through his veins and it carried him through it. Nash had been in the ring about 10 seconds before he tore his. No adrenaline, no nothing, just pure pain. I don't think HHH would have been able to carry on if it had happened from the jump.

 

I am starting to realize that most of these guys ragging on Nash have never been hurt or much less done anything athletic in there lives, therefore they can't relize how much pain that man must have been in.

You can't make this split decision judgement because you don't know how serious Nash's injury is compared to Triple H's last year. For all we know it could be ten times worse.

Good grief, people. The man was probably experiencing excruciating pain. On top of that, Nash has suffered many other injuries to his quad/knee area whereas HHH has only suffered one knee injury prior to last year. So comparing the two and saying that Nash doesn't have a passion for the business is ridiculous.

 

Also, what Mach7 stated is correct. With many injuries, if your adrenaline is running, you don't even really feel the pain until after your adrenaline subsides. Nash had only been in the match for a few moments when his quad gave out.

I didn't start this topic to rag on Nash like all the others are doing. I started it to show that Triple H maybe deserves a little bit more respect on this board then he gets. I think we all tend to forget the physical pain that every little bump brings and when a guy finishes a match with that serious an injury, I consider it going above and beyond the call of duty. Nash did what any of us would have done, and that's lay there realizing how seri0ously he was hurt and not wanting to make it any worse. He was thinking selfishly (good for him) and Trips was only thinking about the show. That's the point I wanted to show.

And my point is that Nash made a move ment to try and stay up and then the REAL pain hit him. He wasn't acting selfishly. When you hear a grown man let out one of those screams you know something bad happend, and all the desire in the world wouldn't have gotten him up.

Its all Different maybe the same style of injury but There is Differences in Body conditions Height, weight, age and overall condition.

 

HHH finishing his match was Phenomnia for the injury he was inflicted with. But you can't then claim, Oh if HHH can do it then any wrestler on the Planet could do it

 

Maybe Hayabusa should just have no sold his Quebrada mess up and Fake his paralysis so Mammoth can finish the match on him.

Like someone else said, there are different types of injuries. Lance Storm years ago had a Quad injury that only kept him out for 12 weeks. And, I believe he finished the match as well.
