"Many people are saying that Mike Sanders will be called up to the active roster due to Kevin Nash's growing influence."

Sure the WWE may be spirling into the pits of hell, but at least I can now watch them run themselves into the ground with my favorite wrestler on the roster!!!

Oh look one of my old friends. Nice to see things have not changed.

Genius, Jay is THE figure-head of our board now. Don't mess with him.

Ugh, there is nothing special about below average Mike Sanders. He has an annoying Southern accent, is only about 6'1 with no major size to him, and his wrestling skills are passable. I don't understand why people blow such a load over him.

Hopefully with Nash now out, they'll still let Nash in. And just because he isn't a Hoss like fat albert, doesn't mean he doesn't have skills.

I hope there are others out there who appreciate the irony of this coming from an Albert fan as much as I do.

There must be *something* special about Sanders as Ric Flair himself actually requested the role of Sanders on and off air mentor. He and Lance Storm were basically the only non main event heels who people even cared about in WCW and at one point Sanders was getting more heat than anyone in the company besides BPP. He definately at least deserves a CHANCE to try and recreate that as far more vanilla guys like Rob Conway are.

I was never big on his wrestling, but Sanders character just kicks ass. I doubt the WWE will use him in a Commish' Type of Role. Too bad Flair wasn't still "owner" of RAW with Sanders playing Commish' or President.

I remember reading a While Ago that They were gonna bring him in in some type of Gay Character role. I'm guessing Rico got that call?

They should have stuck Chris Nowinski in OVW, and had Sanders come in as the "I'm better than you" upper class snob.

About damn time. I say he goes to SmackDown for the CW division.

Yeah, like Albert isn't the god of sloppiness. He makes Trish Stratus' matches look like 5 star classics for christ sake.

Wait, does this mean they are going to plug Mike Sanders in the nWo while Nash is away? Oh yeah, concerning Mr. Sanders, one of my favorite young stars...

...anyone who can go toe to toe with Ric Flair on the mic and come out looking about on the same leval, looks damn fine in my book. Not to mention he had the foundation, for what could become a solid in ring career. I'm sure he's now learned a lot more since WCW, so he has only gotten better.

plus, from what I hear he has a good mind for the buisness, he did book for OVW for a while. I say let him take control of Raw.

and just because I like to rub it in people's faces- I have met and eaten food with Mike Sanders. I will tell the story until the day I die....

Damn, this is good. Sanders is just an okay wrestler, but he bumps well, and he's actually a good performer. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of theater background. If they let him talk, then great...if they just put him in a ring, then it's nothing too exciting. Hopefully they'll let him play the smart, fast-talking heel he does so well.

when the Natural Born Thrillers were around in the begining of the New Blood angle of WCW, Mike Sanders was my favorite.

Maybe Mike Sanders can join Regal & Harvard as their motovational speaker, inspiring them to winners instead of crybabies.

I would love to see Mike Sanders in the fed BUT I have little faith Vince will give him the mic time and opponents that will allow him to get over.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he was stuck in a useless gimmick like bautista that would kill any chance he had of getting over in the immediate future.

God, please don't even suggest that. It didn't work with DDP and I highly doubt it would work for Mikey.

Got a point there. One of the reasons Sanders was able to get so over in WCW was that the product was floundering, and they basically shifted half the focus of the company onto Nash and the Natural Born Thrillers. Sanders usually got to talk for 5-10 minutes on every Thunder or Nitro.

They might be able to give him that on Heat, but Heat doesn't make stars. One of the current WWE problems with the way they're handling the developmentals is that most of them are just lifeless, useless characters. Brock and now it looks like Cena are the only ones getting a concerted push, which is a start. Unfortunately, guys like Orton, Rico, and Batista haven't done much at all lately. To me, there's really no point in bringing in someone new unless you're going to do something with them. I'm all for new talent, but it's almost worse to have them in the big leagues and jobbing once a week on Velocity than still in the feeder.

You guys haven't heard the story? Okay, take a seat...

This is a tale from a town in maryland, far far away, a long time ago, way back in 2001. It was sunday, but not just any sunday, SUPER BOWL SUNDAY~ That simple fact would make anyone happy, but for a lad named TOny, it became even better, because his valiant Baltimore Ravens were in the superbowl against the evil, good for nothing Giants. Okay...the Gianst arn't that bad and when they lost it broke my dad and grandfather's heart but still, the Ravens were the heroes that day. Preparing his usally feast of all feast for the superbowl, Tony got a phone call. It was Matt! You see, Mat works at this arcade/bar/fun center called Jillions, which would be hostiung an uber cool Super Bowl party. "I'll pass, I got a big feast already" Tony said

"But Tony...some wrestlers form WCW are coming"

Now here si were Tony has a choice: Stay home, save some money, and eat some food, or goto Jillions were WCW Wrestlers are. What Tony feared was the 'wrestlers" were jerry Flynn, Van Hammer, and other un godly jobbers. Tony took a chance, put on his pants, and left the house.

he arrived at Jillions around 7 oclock. Plucking down the 10 dollar entrance fee,he walked in and looked around. There were no wrestlers in site! feeling defeated, Tony slunked down in a chair. Until he heard a voice. "Mike Sanders!" exclaimed the young lad, as he turned around and saw his hero...and the rest they say, is history...

Basically i got to watch my ravens kick ass with Mike Sanders, Chuck Palumbo, Rey Misterio Jr, Hugh morrus, Chavo Jr., The Wall, Konnan, Lash leroux, Sean O'Haire, Sean Stasiak(major asshole). Greatest superbowl ever!

Funny Note: Shan Helms and Shannon Moore were there, though they came late, right when i was leaving. And i didn't recgonize them. I was in my car going home when i went "Wait..oh shit...that was 3 count!"

Mike Sanders? Yippie do! Bring him in I say. He was one of the few bright lights during WCW's darkest days. He may not be the best in the ring but he's damn good on the mic.

I say bring him in as Sean O'Haire's manager. Have him bring O'Haire in as his way of one-upping Heyman's "Next Big Thing" Lesnar.

Goodness gracious the verbal sparring that could take place between Sanders and Heyman...dear gawd that'd be awesome!

I watched that Superbowl alone in the dark because I was in a dorm full of Ravens fans.

Yes DDP as Mr Smiley was a very bad gimmick, the type of character that I would like to see is Mike Sanders as a intelligent mentor, not one of those late night infomercial Tony Little or Juice Man characters.

I really does not matter what character/personality Mike Sanders has just as long as he comes in as an active wrestler.
