WrestleMania XIX

Mexico is not a strong wrestling market? are you fuckin' nuts? Mexico has all sorts of wrestling. But they have Lucha Libre and all that stuff.

Wrestlemania 19 should be in Arrowhead Stadium, 80,000 seats for football and probably much more for wrestling , I'd guarantee that the WWF can draw around 90,000 in Kansas City if they do it right.

As for the main event. I'd try and get RVD v. Angle and Hogan v. Austin as a double main event.

I think it would be pretty sweet to have it in the new Reliant satdium . The stadium has a retractable roof and a seating capacity of 69,00 plus . The outside is made of glass and at night time when its all lit up you can see it from over a mile away . The open air combined with all the WWE's lighting effects would be pretty sweet shining in the night . Houston is a pretty good wrestling city and it would give me a chance to go to 2 Wrestlemanias in 3 years . :D

I think any outdoor venue (and that includes stadiums with retractable roofs, like Miller Park) that isn't located in Florida, California, etc... can be ruled out. WM is in March. Having it outdoors in a city like Detroit or Milwaukee in March would be asinine. The Georgia Dome still seems like the way to go to me.

Oh, and the main event? No f'n clue. If you would've told me last July that Jericho (the heel) would be DEFENDING the Undisputed Championship (the wha?) in the main event of WM18 against Triple H (the face) after holding the belt for four months, I'd have said you were on smack or something.

The thing about the SkyDome is that the people who aren't on the floor are sitting SO FAR AWAY. It's not really a great facility, but it just pulled in people.

WM is kind of a two-stage affair. People who say "ooh, WrestleMania" and buy tickets so many months in advance, and the general rabble who buys tickets when they hear of the card.

I'm probably the only guy that dosen't want to see Benoit main eventing a WM. But hey, if Austin's not on it, I'll buy it this year. Woohoo!

A Wrestlemania without Austin in the main event and going over? I'm there.

My pick? RVD v Rock. Face v Face, and if built right, it could draw massively.

Add me to your club. Benoit is great, but he's not a complete package.

Hopefully the Main Event of WM will be RVD vs ________

I'm hoping for Safeco Field in Seattle. Why? Because I'm greedy and goddamnit I want to see Wrestlemania. Hopefully with main would be Jericho vs. RVD and a sub main of Benoit vs HHH.

RCA dome in Indy, baby. that way, i'll be there front row, or else working security, considering i live an hour up I-69 from Indianapolis. Main event of Monster Heel HHH jobbing clean to underdog Jericho. Angle vs Rock in the undercard in an I-Quit match.

In my dreams: Colonial Stadium in Melbourne, Australia (well, they sold out 60,000+ for the glorified house show Global Warning)

In reality: The Georgia Dome - To Vince it would be poetic for him to draw a huge number for his marquee event in the heartland of the old wcw. it might also finally convince him that he won and let him get over it.

anyway, as the main event i would mark for rvd-benoit, but it wont happen, but i will settle for a face benoit v heel hhh, or heel hhh v face rock

i dont really wanna see trips in the main, but at this stage it seems inevitable

im surprised that nobody has suggested the quinella of successful quad-returns at mania. how about nash beating the entire roster w/ the fingerpoke of doom to win the wwe title? hell, i know i'd pay to see that ~!

That's not true at all. I sat 3rd row on the floor for X-8, but the first tier of raised seats were great, too. I got to check out their view when I was walking in. The worst view is when you're on the floor but you're not ringside.

I hope it is in Tampa, since I've never been to FL (believe it or not) and might go if it is. If not, Indy baby! Since I'm from Louisville I can drive up for that easy.

I think it could be RVD/Brock in a final blowoff.

Reliant Stadium would be a great spot for SummerSlam 2003. I love Houston. Great city. If you ever go to a WWE show in Houston and it's being held at the Astrodome or Reliant Stadium, stay at the Radisson on the outskirts of the city. It's right across the street from the Astrodome, Reliant Stadium, Reliant Hall, and Six Flags.

In Reality:

Georgia Dome, Main Event HHH vs RVD.

- McMahon is in the front row, watching the HHH/RVD match-up, when referee Earl Hebner walks over while RVD and Triple H lie motionless in the ring. After giving McMahon the current information, McMahon gets on the PA and announces that due to both wrestlers having nothing left and still needing to be RAW the next night, he is declaring the match a draw. Fans in the arena are seen chanting "let them fight!" over and over again as WM goes off the air. -

Hehe...

RVD-vs-HHH seems most realistic, or it could end up HHH-vs-HBK seeing how things are going.

Brock-vs-Kurt as 3rd from top is more likely than main event.

Benoit-vs-Rock or Brock is what i want to see.

I know people did not like my idea of Mexico City, but I thought Going to Mexico would be a interesting sell.

I wonder if they could do it in England but just have the Start time be different? What time is it in England 700 Pm Et?

Love to have it here. Hope the grass makes it. Safeco is one of the nicer fields they'll get, everywhere is a great seat, plus they could sell tickets for the standing room area we have in center.

Bring it back to the Silverdome. Who gives a f*ck about attendance numbers. We know it won't draw 93,000 again. Besides, this may be the last chance they get to do so, as rumor has it it may be gone by 2004... for a damn casino.

So they said last year...

Oh, and BTW, they could do so much in the way of promoting this... it could be huge. I'd say 75,000 at least, which is what it usually seats, but anything over 85,000 is pushing it.

Why do you people want it to return to Silverdome so badly? It would only tarnish the memory of WM3. Go somewhere new.

And they can go the 60 minute time limit and have 14 judges...7 for RVD, 7 for HHH.

In all seriousness....if the product is good and business is doing better than what it is now, I'd say put it at the Georgia Dome. If the business is doing shit, Tropicana Field is my best guess (It's not as big as dome, but it will still have a good number of people there.)

Main Event: Benoit (face) vs. HHH (heel)

So with that theory, we shouldn't have Wrestlemania at MSG in 2004?

Because we get ignored routinely by the WWE in favor of places down south or MSG.

Vengeance is the first PPV in 3 years in Detroit. And the last time they came was when Angle and Austin were feuding before Survivor Series and Angle got his medals thrown off the Belle Isle Bridge.

How do you know? Chances are that the card would be 10x better this time around. What, should they not return to The Garden so they don't risk not living up to WrestleMania X?
