Latest Commentary From Rob Van Dam

The following message is from the RVD mailing list:

"Well, it's been one year since I joined the fed. One year since my

accessibility to my website had to be altered. Okay, it had to be virtually

nonexistant. (Hey, I don't know if "virtually" really fit there but I

figured with the internet-related subject, it might.)

Anyway...

After a year of persistent requests, I hope everyone appreciated the new Van

Terminator. Brought it back this week, in an extreme way. As I've been

saying for months: 'Well, I don't have Fonzie to hold the chair'...'maybe

it's too hardcore'...'everyone's already seen Shane-O's version', etc.

Well, if Paul Heyman's insulting ECW fans in Philly didn't call for it, what

would? And if I'm going to do a Van Terminator at this stage, I'm going to

do a new version to top everything previously accomplished or imitated!

I'm bummed to learn that the Battle Creek show has been postponed. That

sucks. I was looking forward to my homecoming debut. I'm going to need a

little extra 'welcome home' support from Grand Rapids and Detroit to make up

for it. Shouldn't be a problem.

I filmed another Ultimate Revenge television show. Damn, that Ryan Seacrest

is everywhere now. Good for him.

Don't know when Black Mask 2 is coming out yet.

I see a lot of fans sporting the RVD foam thumbs at the arenas. Way cool. At

last, the action figures are out and if you haven't checked out one of the

new video games featuring yours truly...you got something real good to look

forward to.

I wish I could get your feedback but I literally have no time to read email.

Where does my time go? Hmmm, let's see...

-Last week I left home on Thursday night to fly across the country to

Washington, DC.

-Arrived Friday morning and met Spike and the limo at 1:30 to go to Six

Flags for a two-hour promotion appearance from 3:00 to 4:30.

-Hour drive back to the arena for a 7:30 WWE show at the MCI center.

-Next morning I flew to New York City. Got picked up at LaGuardia for

another two-hour appearance. RVD at Fun Time USA in Brooklyn from 1:00 to

3:00.

-After meeting hundreds and hundreds of RVD fans, which is always cool, it

was time to head to Madison Square Garden for another night of wrestling

action. I had a second ladder match with Guerrero here, that I think was

better than the one everyone is still popping at from Raw.

-Just a hop, skip, and 125-mile drive to Uncasville, Ct and I'm there,

checking into a hotel just in time to get not enough sleep.

-Next day of business starts with a two-hour DVD signing with Booker T. By

the way, all of these appearances have outstanding turn outs, but what do

you expect? They're here to see Rob Van Dam!

-Off to the Mohegan Sun Arena and another night of wrestling.

-Leaving the building that night, I had another 125 to drive to Manchester,

NH. I'm glad when I can drive instead of flying. Flying gets sooooo old.

-Another short night at a hotel and it's time to start another day. Monday

at 1:00 pm is the check in time at the Verizon Wireless Arena where Monday

Night Raw takes place.

-After getting put through the announcer's table by the Vanilla Gorilla, I'm

lucky to get out of there before midnight so I can find a great place to

dine (yeah, right) and finally get some not-rest.

-I catch a 7:00 am flight out of there and I'm back in Los Angeles Tuesday.

Back home at last.

Now what will I do with my 65 hours or so off? Uhhh...sleeping sounds good.

That's the deal, RVD fans. Now try I need to fit in going to the gym,

eating, returning phone calls - you know, regular everyday life things - but

most importantly to me, spending quality time with SVD!

Glad to share with you a little bit of what's been happening with me. I'll

try to find time to do this more often but in the meantime, you know where

to find me every Monday Night."

P.S. RobVanDam.com is in need of a few good men (women, too!) If you know

html, web design, possess great writing skills and, of course, keep up with

RVD, drop an email to [email protected] to see how you can help.

Thanks!

I'm also laughing at the Vanilla Gorilla name RVD came up with for Lesnar. Thanks for giving us a new running gag, Rob.

Oh this stuff is downright humble compared to the stuff Van Dam used to post on his site when he was in ECW. He had net chat sessions and those were HILARIOUS.

On one he told a guy that the guy's dad should have used a condom, it was too funny. On another he badmouthed Barely Legal and said "fuck the PPV" a bunch of times. He was in his ECW heel persona, though it was hard to tell how much was work and how much was shoot.

Vanilla Gorilla!

Hmmmmm... Oddly enough he didn't have anything to say about his match with Jericho at KOTR.....

I was kind of looking forward to something about it.

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): It's always nice to be able to make a girls dreams come true. It's all just part of being me.

makeham (Prodigy Member): How many times in your career have you cleanly defeated superstar wrestler Hacksaw Jim Duggan? What's that? None?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): You know, maybe I haven't lived everybody's dream yet.

lawlerfan (Prodigy Member): How come Sabu doesn't speak and you do all the talking in interviews?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): Cuz he's from India or Arabia or somewhere like that...and he's so savage. Besides, it's a great opportunity for everybody to listen to what Mr Monday Night has to say.

AEWF Pres (Prodigy Member): Did you know tony the tiger is from Battle Creek Michigan

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): Yes I do. A few weeks ago he waved to me when I drove by on Porter Street.

makeham (Prodigy Member): If you would venture a guess, how many of the "Nitro Girls" do you think Roadblock has nailed? How about yourself? (You and the girls - not you and Roadblock. Keep that to yourself).

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): Hopefull not many.....and Roadblock has definitely never done me.

CParmigiana (Prodigy Member): Rob,Don't you think you would look 100% better with The Quitensetial Studmuffin,Joel Gertner at your side?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): Obviously.

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): Are you kidding...I've got her in my computer!

makeham (Prodigy Member): Are any of the ECW wrestlers members of the Higher Source Cult? How about Paul? How about Tod? How about Rocky the ring announcer?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): I have my suspicions. But hey...those guys were computer geeks weren't they? Maybe you are in that cult.

MC lovesBeth (Prodigy Member): Well, I'll ask the big question...Are you gay?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): No, sorry to disappoint you...but not interested.

TooHotttJess (Prodigy Member): Van Dam - I once moosaulted off a bed onto an airconditioner and broke a few of my toes...Who's hardcore?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): That doesn't make you hardcore...it makes you retarded.

TooHotttJess (Prodigy Member): Van Dam- Can you come to my school and give us a talk about the importance of using condoms please?

Rob Van Dam (Speaker): I use Magnums...for the larger size man. Your father should have used a condom.
