The NWO

-Right now, many backstage workers are referring to Triple H as a "member" of the nWo group, due to his methods of seemingly undermining WWE officials by speaking directly to Vince about getting angles and plans changed. This behavior is expected from other nWo members, including, as of recent, Nash and X-Pac, which is why HHH is being referred to as an nWo member. HHH, using his relationship with Vince, has power in discussions and therefore can get his way on many situations involving angles, storylines, and related areas.

-As for HHH joining the group on screen, the original plans were for the move to be made after Summerslam. However, due to the fact that Nash was just injured, and HBK is really the only draw currently in the group, the chances of a quick HHH jump to the nWo increase. Being that Austin is gone, and The Rock will be leaving (and isn't drawing much of a response from his return anyway) the need for a strong nWo increases. Although this is by no means confirmed, and there is a good chance that HHH could turn down the nWo at Vengeance, an HHH-nWo jump seems logical at this point in time. Expect the HHH decision at Vengeance to play a large part in future storylines.

--Brian Christopher is receiving heat backstage in NWA TNA for his off-kilter personality. Apparently Christopher makes a very solid and convincing natural heel because he's a bit of a jerk in real life. Wrestlers have been whispering about him behind his back for he past couple weeks but no one has actually confronted him about it as of yet. Christopher was a highly sought after free agent by Jerry Jarrett. In order to pick up Christopher, NWA TNA picked up another major name/free agent with a troubled history as a favor to him. Jarrett was set on picking him up due to his history in Tenn. history, including his dad Jerry Lawler, and the strength of his former heel character in the USWA.

--Raw's head writer Brian Gewertz is receiving more and more heat due to his style of writing. Gewertz was given a limited crew this week, which he prefers working with, yet had many wrestlers wrestling twice during the show including the main event. This caused problems with the workers involved in trying to workout the 10 man tag match, which you can imagine can be quite complicated with all those guys around the ring at once. According to the Torch, the wrestlers feel he doesn't appreciate the "art" of putting together a match.

-Stephanie McMahon's attitude towards wrestler's isn't improving over the past few weeks. According to the Torch, Stephanie has grown a more "condescending" attitude and remains frustrated with the company's writing woes. Stephanie currently holds the position as top writer between both shows, so Paul Heyman and Brian Gewertz basically report to her, with Vince McMahon editing everything.

Wow, even the lower ranked wrestling sites are getting the info.

Perhaps Vince will have balls and move Stephanie to a non-Creative position.

If he does, and HHH keeps playing political games, it's not because he's talking to the head booker almost every hour of the day. So we can rule that out.

Oh, cool, somebody else goes to TWNP...do you also think the guys that write the News Story at the top are stupid, too? I almost posted one in NHB to compare it to Tommy. That's how bad it was.

Oh lord this stuff was funny. Michaels is a draw? How? I can't think of much money he ever drew when he was at his peak as a wrestler, and now he can't even wrestle. The need for a strong NWO? I hate to tell WWE this, but the NWO was a dead, played out angle in 1999.

My thoughts exactly. Michaels surely isn't a draw and the nWo is better off dead at this point. While I hope they don't, even DX would be cooler than nWo at this point, which should make Vince happy as he created DX, which would seemingly destroy the nWo, a Turner faction.

This stuff is almost word for word out of the last Torch Newsletter.

WWE's NWO timeline -

1. Hogan leaves the group - Didn't seem like a big deal as the group still had Hall and Nash. -1

2. X-Pac joins the group - Doesn't quite make up for Hogan, but it's a step in the righ direction +1

3. Nash gets injured - Uh oh, just Hall and X-Pac? -1

4. Big Show joins - Makes up for Nash, but it's hardly the n.w.o poision Vince promised +1

5. Hall gets fired - Good lord, now it's JUST X-Pac, Big Show and an injured Nash? -1

6. Booker T joins the n.w.o - Just about everybody knew this was just a launching pad for Booker's face turn and had little to do with making the group stronger - 1

7. HBK joins - Dumb idea as Shawn joined just because he was friends with a couple of the guys. It gives the group a big name......but the wrestling is still left up to X-Pac, Show and Booker +1

8. Booker T is out - Booker is kicked out to become an even bigger face than before. Face booker is a smart idea but NOW the wrestling is left to Show and X-Pac?????? Where's the poison? -1

9. Nash gets injured - oops -1

10? X-Pac out? - Seriously, can this group diminish any more than it already has? It went from POISION to X-Pac and Big Show tagging against Goldust. I seriously thought the group was ruined when it was just Pac and Hall.......boy was I wrong cause it got a lot worse!! It's time to give up on this group and do something else. I'll settle for DX at this point.

Damn... I really need to stop going to the board before I watch RAW ;)

*GASP* What will happen to HBK? Where will his outlet for annoying smark comments that mean nothing in relation to anything and occasional super-kick come from?

No more NWO? No chip off my block at all. Vince should just do away with this so-called "poison" of the WWE. They aren't doing anything productive to Raw so might as well be rid of them and make way for this "Canadian Mafia" that is fresh and could be entertaining, given the right booking of course. That is all.

Thank god the n.w.o is dead! But a Canadian stable is about as fresh as the Cretaceous period and O.J Simpson jokes.
