From the way he just showed up out of nowhere during Booker's promo, AFTER having Shane McMahon show up to tease the fans. To his own promo and the way tonight's writers actually played up his history with ex-WCW guys like Flair, Booker and Big Show. This is the most excited I've been about the WWF in a year. Of course, being the WWF, I'm anticipating the moment when they fuck everything up... But I still have hope that this will be the moment things will turn around. Add with the WWF FINALLY taking the nWo off life support, the Richards/Dreamer ECW nostalgia match, and no offensive matches (i.e. duds); I have to say that this is one of the best Raw's in a while. I can't wait to see what's planned for Smackdown.

It's just another man to fill in the "Commisioner/Co-Owner" role. First you had Slaughter, then Michaels, then Foley, then Regal, then Flair, and now you've got Eric Bischoff. Sure, they initial sight of him on WWE tv is great, it always is with every one of those men listed above, but think about the long-term... this is not going to change anything. In two weeks time, the shock will weare off and you will all see Bischoff as just another recurring character, making matches in favor of the heels, screwing the top babyface, cutting 20 minute promos, etc. now there is a reason to get Smackdown talent on Raw.....just let Bischoff raid the show. no trade needed Well, that may make me change my opinion a little bit.

This is the first time that an "owner" character hasn't just been feuding with some main event wrestler in a looong time. He actually has character motivation, as opposed to Flair, McMahon, Foley, all that crappy stuff of late...the angle is simple. He wants to get Rock and HHH, Smackdown's biggest stars, onto Raw, so he can be King of Wrestling again and bring the WWE back to its high watermark. I'm psyched to see if they can pull this off, both in-character and on the business end...
