Guest myburninghammer Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Does any remember the last time Booker T actually won a match on TV? Seriously.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Well, he couldn't beat Big Show! Sheesh, Big Show is the future!
Guest Austin3164life Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 As much as I have followed Booker T and as much as I like him now, I can't remember the last time he won a one-on-one match cleanly (or unclean for that matter).
Guest goodolemr Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Maybe... just maybe... Booker T will finally get the blowoff win over Big Show at the pay per view.
Guest Brian Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Well, he should have got the blow-off win on X-Pac last month. And then after Vengeance, there's only one guy left: Nash. But than Nash and HHH would have gone at it anyways.
Guest art_vandelay Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Well, there was this time back in October or so when he squashed Tajiri in his street clothes. Then he beat Big Show in a match when he had to do 2 axe kicks and then a ground version of the Harlem Hangover, that was last year too. Oh, and he beat Scotty Too Hotty before seeing the video of Edge getting the Shampoo commercial on the Titantron back in February or March.
Guest RepoMan Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Well, at least with Booker jobbing tonight, he should get to win at Vengence. I'm just happy he finally get's a match at a PPV. The thing I don't get is that is they were going to kill the nWo, why not have Booker T get over by doing it. They could have easily made the match at Vengence with a stipulation that the nWo will disband if Booker wins if Booker puts his carerre on the line or something.
Guest ManKinnd Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 This is a fine setup to a big Booker win at Vengeance, with the crappy countout and DQ wins consequtively. It's just that he hasn't won in a while. (I guess we're not counting him pinning Gurerro (sp?) last week.) He'll get the big pinfal victory on PPV and we can all get ready to see the Bookerman take big steps up the corporate ladder.
Guest jester Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I hope that Booker defeats Show at Vengeance, despite massive cheating and interference from Xpac and Micheals, thereby burying the feud forever, establishing him firmly as a tough guy, and then Booker can move on to something more worthwhile. Signs are pointing at least to a Booker win at Vengeance. Please WWE? Make it happen? Please? jester
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 The Show and tajiri matches were in AUGUST. Almost a full fucking year ago.
Guest art_vandelay Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Oh, and he also defeated ANGLE for the WCW Championship after he lost it to him the week before in Pittsburgh. That was around August too, I believe.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Actually the Big Show vs Booker T match happened on September 13th. It was a live Smackdown due to the show being cancelled on September 11th and it took place in Houston.
Guest chirs3 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 He's going to (read: BETTER FUCKING) win clean at the PPV, you guys. No need to panic... yet.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I think it has been noted several times that Booker T doesn't have the most stellar of WWE PPV records. Im going to bet he loses to Big Show.
Guest caboose Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 If Booker loses to Big Show at Vengenace, then I will stop watching the RAW. (So far everytime I've made a over the top ultimatum like that, I haven't had to stop doing anything so here's hoping... ...shit, I think I just jinxed it!)
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 The odds are so NOT in your favor.
