Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 "In another move that will endear Triple H to his peers, he was heard almost boasting backstage last night about being in yesterday's agents' meeting. Back when he was still with the company, Steve Austin cut into H's power by having him barred from those meetings, saying that as a wrestler he didn't belong in them. With Austin gone however, H has worked his way back into the meetings again. " 1wrestling.com
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 He also, along with the agents, gave the wrestlers a speech before Raw, talking about they need to step it up and quit waiting for things to happen. I'm sure the wrestlers are cursing him behind his back.
Guest What?! Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 AHHH!!! I wish 'Taker would give him one of those "I'll kick your ass" talks like he did with HBK.
Guest TheyCallMeMark Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I'm not sure 'Taker could take HHH at this point in his life.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 judging from this and the meeting he held backstage, it sure looks like HHH is great at making friends!
Guest Austin3164life Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 What a dickhead Triple H is. Whether or not that rumor is true, that takes away another chunk of respect I might've had for him since he used to be great.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 It's time for Taker to step up as the true Locker room leader. Taker may not be able to take Triple H in a physical manner, but he should be able to take him in a political manner. He needs to start speaking up.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 1wrestling.com Yeah right...like im gonna beleive anything that comes of there! Typical 1wrestling post: "Our sources tell us Bret Hart is coming back to be the General Manager on SmackDown!, his brother Owen will also be part of the show. In other news, our sources HHH pushed his grandmother down the stairs and then boasted about it to the rest of the boys"

Taker may not be able to take Triple H in a physical manner, but he should be able to take him in a political manner. He needs to start speaking up. What a great "locker room leader" the Undertaker is. What a hero he is. He is the exact opposite of HHH. I mean Taker would never hold anybody down, never. He did what was right during the Alliance angle too, by "speaking up" and refusing to make DDP, Kanyon , Awesome and several other former WCW members look good, WHAT A GUY!!and then the Undertaker (locker room leader that he is) used his power to bring in KronicK, and give us the worst match of last year...GOD DAMMIT your right the Taker is a true locker room leader, always looking out for his fellow man.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 On a sidenote, Buff/Booker and Kane/Test were worse than Taker-kane/Kroni>l
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 On a sidenote, Buff/Booker and Kane/Test were worse than Taker-kane/Kroni>l Buff/Booker maybe. No way was Kane/Test as bad.
Guest buffybeast Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Why can't individual wrestlers lead themselves? why must there be a leader?
Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 No way was Kane/Test as bad. Watch it again.
Guest Downhome Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 With this news, even I am growing to dislike HHH even more so.
Guest Brian Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 "Why can't individual wrestlers lead themselves? why must there be a leader?" Because individuals with no pull or little seniority tend to have very little power, if any, and will always get buried if they threaten anyone with power unless they have a largely significant backing.
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 HHH has no f'n right to talk, not after his shitty performance this year. It made me sick to hear the fans at the Meadowlands popping for him in the Desire video last night. I even like Booker T more than I like HHH at this point. With Booker T, I hate his character...with HHH, I hate the guy behind the character.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 AHHH!!! I wish 'Taker would give him one of those "I'll kick your ass" talks like he did with HBK. You know Triple H would tell on him to Vince then somehow end up pinning Taker for the title in the triple threat match at Vengeance.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 HHH is a cancer on the WWE. Just fire him and bury him.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 HHH is a cancer on the WWE. Just fire him and bury him. What I've just read today about HHH is making me hate the guy even more as well. I agree with LesnarLunatic, just bury him and fire him, he wasn't the right person to do that kind of speech and he's already pissed off most of the lockerroom by doing that speech when obviously, he himself cannot "bust his ass" in the ring anymore.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 If Taker would speak up and kick some ass, it would be great. But I think Taker really respects HHH. It's a shame. HHH doesn't pull that same type of whiney/bitchey stuff Michaels did. HHH probably is more slick about it.
Guest Angle is Wrestling Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Fit Finlay should beat HHH's ass.. Seriously.. just get it over with Fit, kill the bastard.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 You think Finlay could take Triple H? I've heard he's a legit badass, but still. If it's true, boy is Triple H a scumbag. Taker should do that leading thing, get a group together, and do some politicing.
Guest Harry Hood Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Wow, Personally I have nver had any sort of vendetta or hatred for HHH but after todaay if this shit is true...well he's down a few rungs...
Guest Smeghead Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Taker speaking out against Vince might work, because the rest of the roster does see him as a leader. If he steps up, that might prompt more people to do the same. But if Taker speaks alone, Vince won't have much of a problem getting rid of Taker. He's really close to retirement (or at least he should be). He doesn't have a lot of time left, so getting rid of him won't be a huge problem. Sure, Taker has been loyal to Vince for over a decade. But so was Bret Hart. IMO, there is only one person who could speak out against HHH with or without support from the rest of the roster and definitely get away with it, and that person is The Rock. He is the biggest moneymaker in WWE, and he's easily one of the most popular guys on the roster, if not the most popular. He could burn ten bridges and Vince would build him ten more. With his current schedule, Rock is only around part time. But part time Rock is better than no Rock at all, and Vince knows it. Losing Rock for good would seriously hurt the company.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Fit Finlay could probably beat the shit out of anybody on the roster without too much thought. Regal might give him some trouble, because Regal WRASSLED WITH THE CARNIE FOLK! In other news, Jesus people, shut up already. I come home from work and think to myself "I'll see what people are saying about RAW," but instead I find, seriously, 7 or 8 threads talking about how much HHH is the devil. I DON'T CARE. TALK ABOUT WRESTLING. WE GET THE POINT.

Guest Anglesault Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Did people like Flair and the Undertaker really have to sit and listen to Hunter talk down to them?
