Guest Steviekick Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 When comparing HHH or Hogan, I got to go with Hogan. Now I'm not Hulkamaniac and never been that much of a fan, even when I was a kid, bute here's why... * The Hulkster makes more appearances, both TV and house show than HHH * Hogan's not involved with the boss' daughter * Although Hogan has a more limited move set than HHH, all of his moves do not involve his knee * Hogan has been putting over new talent, and HHH, well.... * Hogan, who has made much more of an impact on the wrestling scene than HHH can, didn't go and bitch out the locker room. If they were looking for someone to make an impact as a locker room leader, wouldn't it be someone like Hogan? Personally, I'd go with the Undertaker since he's been there the longest and is most dedicated to the company as well as the hardest working veteran on their roster
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 at the minute Hogan, but overall HHH
Guest AM The Kid Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hogan, I'm a Hulkamaniac 4-Life. Funny, I'm actually wearing my Hulkamania shirt right now.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 In 2000, I would've said HHH. Hogan.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Neither..... Triple H does nothing for me. As much as I respect Hogan he does nothing for me now. I got to hear and see him come out to "Real American" one last time.
Guest converge241 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 HHH no contest.. I got officially fed up with Hogan @ WM9
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 And you aren't fed up with HHH's out-of-control power trip?
Guest converge241 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 nah i dont get worked up about it one iota... ill jump in and make some jokes with the HHHHaters because the idea is funny. Im more offended at his decrease as far as in-ring production than anything else
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I was actually cooled off as far as my HHHating went...before I read about his pre-RAW lecture. To quote Bam Bam Bigelow, "What a scumbag."
Guest converge241 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 actually that bothered me a little...Im sure most of the workers see him as more management than anything from their perception. Maybe Flair or Taker should have made the speech. The other part was maybe that speech should have been given a while ago when things first started to go south, like maybe sitting all the WWF guys down and saying"hey maybe we shouldnt bury this new company we just bought" concerning WCW
Guest DrEvil Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I'm really starting to like Humble Hollywood Hulk Hogan. The thing I really hated about him in WCW was how he appeared to really believe that he was God and should be the centre of every show. The attitude he carries now of knowing that he's living on past glory just makes me like his nostalgia run, plus of course putting over younger talent. He may still believe he's God, but he's not acting like he believes it.
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Or maybe the boys see him as we do...a pompous, hypocritical asshole.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Taker should have been giving that speech last night.
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Or Kurt Angle. Or Chris Jericho. Or Booker T. Or RVD. Anybody but HHH.
Guest converge241 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 actually i thought Taker too but now that i think of it..he might just tell the whole crew that "they cant work" lol
Guest TheSmarkzone Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I don't think Taker would give a speech like that. Just a guess. HHH probably had a big shit-eating grin on his face after talking down to all of the boys...you know, a look like, "I'm a honorary McMahon and there's not a damn thing any of you can do about it! Nah, nah, nah, nah!"
Guest jester Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I really don't care for either Hogan or HHH. I guess as much praise as I can muster is that I dislike Hogan less. jester
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I'm starting to like Smarkzone's comments.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Taker could give a good speech. I think he garners a lot of REAL respect in the locker room, not the pseudo respect HHH gets because people don't want to lose their pushes.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hogan gets something of a pop, and is willing to give the rub to everyone
Guest the 1inch punch Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 I really don't care for either Hogan or HHH. I guess as much praise as I can muster is that I dislike Hogan less. Ditto, at least Hogan puts people over these days, but i'll probably change my mind when Edge turns on him and he becomes the big Anti-Canada Force
Guest Smeghead Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 2 years ago I would've said HHH. Today, I'm saying Hogan. No question.
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Hogan, definately. I can't stand HHH.
