Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Raw drew a 3.8 rating last night, a slight increase over recent weeks. wrestlingobserver.com
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 3.8 isn't bad coming off last weeks horrible show. And nobody knew Eric was going to show up and that the NWO would get canned. So that's pretty good actually.
Guest Downhome Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Now let's watch for NEXT week and see what the show gets. Or better yet, one month from now. Could it be that the ratings will continue on an upwards climb?
Guest chirs3 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 This Thursday and next Monday will be the ones to watch, see if Bischoff and ??? have any impact.
Guest cabbageboy Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Bischoff won't have any effect on SMDN though, he is in charge of Raw.
Guest Downhome Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Bischoff won't have any effect on SMDN though, he is in charge of Raw. I thought he said he would be on Smackdown in order to sway their superstars over to the RAW side. Which could be interesting, leading to the first ever interaction between the two GM's.
Guest chirs3 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Bischoff won't have any effect on SMDN though, he is in charge of Raw. Bischoff will have a great effect on tonight's Smackdown. Why? Think about it. If you were getting turned off by the product, then Tuesday someone ran up to you and said "DUDE! Eric Bischoff was on Raw!" and told you the whole story, you would most likely tune into SD! to see who that General Manager will be.

And then when they see the new GM is Stephanie, they will turn it off.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 This Thursday and next Monday will be the ones to watch, see if Bischoff and ??? have any impact. Thats the same mentality that McMahon uses. If they don't have any sudden impact try something else.
Guest chirs3 Posted July 16, 2002 Report Posted July 16, 2002 Well, they can't exactly switch directions - next week, Vince comes out and says "I thought you might wanna hear Bischoff's music one last time"? No. They're sorta stuck in this for a while, but the next two shows will give us an idea of what we're in for.
