Guest BoboBrazil Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Give me a break. I'm sure Rock, Austin, and Foley to a lesser extent meant nothing This HHH monster push needs to stop. Even when he isn't on tv he still gets put over every show. Please don't move him to Raw
Guest bob_barron Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 It's just an angle dude. Eazy E also said if he had Rock that Nitro would be awesome
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Again: HHH wasn't worth anything as a draw until early 2000. Bischoff wasn't even in power in WCW at that time. And when HHH left WCW...Bischoff WAS in power. The whole thing is just another verbal blowjob for HHH.
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 put simply, no. rock, possibly, austin possibly. though it all depends on time and situation. though in the wcw environs with trips' connections he may have been able to get a fairly bi run and possibly become a decent draw.
Guest Phr33k Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 It was just Bischoff attempting to get HHH on RAW by sucking up to him. I knew this would get turned into an anti-HHH thread...
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 they already had him, like Mic Foley and Steve Austin they had them first and they couldn't use them worth a damn. so they left.
Guest jester Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 They're simply trying to get HHH over as the new lead superstar, since Austin is gone and Rock could leave again at any time. Personally, I think his promos and ringwork have to get a lot better before that happens. jester
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Rock will be gone by September. That's when his next film starts.

Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Personally, I think his promos and ringwork have to get a lot better before that happens. And I don't see that happening anytime soon due to his big muscle mass that makes him slow in the ring now.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Yeah, just more hype for HHH. Considering that they're trying to pass off the "which side will HHH chose???" factor as an actual insentive to buy the PPV, they have to make him sound important.
Guest jester Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Yeah, just more hype for HHH. Considering that they're trying to pass off the "which side will HHH chose???" factor as an actual insentive to buy the PPV, they have to make him sound important. If they do that, complete with everyone's music intro, and all three giving a speech, half the night will be gone. Nobody should have that amount of time in a PPV for what is basically a promo. jester
Guest claydude14 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 HHH, what hath become of you? you cause me to go into hiding, i am ashamed of my sig.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 I have a problem with HHH PROBABLY receiving a good portion of time on the PPV just to see which show he'll join. That is something he could make a "special appearance" on RAW for. He's taking away valuable ring time.
Guest jester Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Triple H stuns everyone by picking Heat. jester
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 HHH should be on Heat. Anyway... Why would the crowd at a ppv give a shit what show he chooses? It's obvious he's going to Raw...so if they did it on Raw the crowd would care more. You know...cause they are a Raw crowd. Instead they'll have Steph and Bisch talking...HHH will grunt Raw... Then get a 20 minute promo on Raw to tell everyone why. Fuck em all.
Guest cabbageboy Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 They won't waste 20m doing this on PPV. I figure it will be just Bischoff and Steph talking to him in the back a couple times then he comes out at some point and chooses.
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Someone needs to hire a Hitman(not named Hart)to hit Hunter in the leg with a weapon. Thus, "Nancy Kareigining" him.
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 No, it will take 20 minutes, simply because Trip's entrance takes 19 minutes. Every time he enters, it just keeps going and going and going...enough already! Shorten your damn entrance! I liked Trips so much better when he was a mobile heel.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 One time when HHH was entering the ring for the main event of Smackdown!, I decided to test a theory out. As he stood on the steel ramp, I took a trip downstairs. I went to the bathroom, pissed, washed my hands, and came out. Then, I went into the kitchen and grabbed a soda, because sodas rule! *thumbs up* So anyway, I come back up the stairs to see where the match is. Amazingly, I caught Triple H just as he was doing his apron-spew. That's one long entrance...
Guest Vitamin X Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Actually I have the HHH theme on my computer (because I like to disillusion myself as being the most powerful man in the WWF and doing the HHH entrance is just too cool..YOU try it!), and the apron spew bit comes at 1:19 into the song. So the entire entrance is about a minute and a half long.. Again, I don't like him anymore than you guys but GIVE HIM A FUCKING BREAK. Thank You.
Guest Razor Roman Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 Obviously they're just using the same angle they had booked for HHH involving "will he/won't he" with the nWo... only using Bischoff instead. Is it just me or does the whole "Everyone's contract is up for grabs" thing kind of smack of WCW starting a new "Era" ever month? Though I do think it would be cool if the WWE had an "open enrollment" period every year, near (probably best right after) WrestleMania, where wrestlers could change sides. Then there could be exceptions, like SmackDOwn wants to keep the Rock but can't "afford" him, so they offer him a 20 year contract, but RAW offers him like 10 million for one year.... and the Rock signs with SmackDOwn for the 20 year/20 mil deal, only to get screwed by the GM at the end of the first year. Oh wait.
