While this looks low, the overnight number rarely is a true indicator of the final number, which will be available later today. Credit: 1wrestling.com Remember last week, the final numbers ended up being much lower, meaning this 3.9 could go way down.

"WWE Smackdown did a 4.4 with a 7 share, allowing UPN to finish fifth for the night, ahead of only the WB in the Metered Market Overnight rating. The show did hours of 3.9 and 4.9. They actually finished ahead of WB and FOX for the 9pm hour. Final ratings should be available later today." ...there ya go guys!

Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 19, 2002 Report Posted July 19, 2002 I think that in comparison, the SmackDown rating isn't that bad. They're doing about or better what Nitro was doing during the Attitude years, but they're on UPN without all the homes that TNT had. Think about that.
