I read the Austin article...and well...you know...

It was interesting...

My favorite part was when they alluded to the idea that part of Austin's problem may have been being jealous...of....

oh come on...

you know who...

HHH.

The article says that Austin may have been jealous of HHH because he thought that HHH's association with Stephanie gave him more political clout.

HHH was then quoted as saying "I think, if anything, it's probably harder for me, because Vince is so much more critical of how I do and how I act. He doesn't show favortism."

Yeah...that seems obvious.

I swear I couldn't make this shit up...after a certain point...it's just more sad than funny.

I know this is a little off topic, but did anyone else ever read HHH's interview in his magazine? SOme of the comments were hilarious...for example when talking about the numerous amount of young talent he says "You don't want to let them pass you! (laughs)"

This article shows why I hate Vince. He was the guy who came out looking better in the Austin situation. What happens when Vince looks like the lesser of two evils? He runs the other person into the ground so bad that I don't think of anyone looking decent anymore. Vince has no concept of what it is to quit while your ahead. The situation happened and I side with Vince because you don't walk out on a live show, then they air confidential and I get a little irritated because it is a one-sided story but it made for interesting TV so Vince got a good show out of the situation fine, but now with this article it is just like give it up already I don't give a shit anymore you are both losers.

As for HHH I just get entertainment from him trying to justify himself. If the wrestlers don't mutiny in the near future I am going to shocked and frankly a little pissed off that they just don't give a shit.

if i was Austin id be more jealous of the Rock...hell I'm sure all of the wrestlers would rather be the Rock than HHH

Anyone would rather mainstream media attraction rather than the top guy in a wrestling company, I would think.

I read the article, and to be honest, it wasn't as anti-Austin as I thought it was going to be. Both sides acted like dickheads through out htis lil shitfest, so it's time that the WWE drop it already because I'm pretty tired of hearing about it.

I'm glad Austin walked out before his WWE/WWF carrer ended like Bret's. That's all.

No Austin is a good thing. >_> Now if somebody will take care of HHH, Bradshaw, Lesnar, and Bubba..

Bradshaw and Bubba are gonna fade away, so dont worry

Not Bubba.

Bubba is the most protected man on the roster.

I'm still trying to figure out why...

But he is.

Guest the pinjockey

Because he is Bubba tough. No one can beat somebody who is bubba tough.

mystery solved.

Can't wait to see him job at the ppv though...

oh wait...that's a table match, he won't get pinned...

and I'm not ordering...

oh well.

I am actually very weary of Eddie and Benoit going through the tables it is not out of the realm of possibilities seeing as how they have repeatedly left Bubba layed out.

I actually like Bubba. He puts on decent matches and is over. Sure his little dancing is stupid, and the crowd still constantly calls for tables, but he is a solid worker. Tonight, he will be in a table match, where he's a god, and Benoit and Guerro are gods of wrestling anyway; then we have Spike bumping around like a madman. Tell me this won't be the MOTN.

Guest Shaved Bear

i think the main can actually be MOTN depending on how little Taker is involved, but the table match can be good

Back on subject though, i just got that magazine today and to be honest i was kind of surprised they talked about the whole steve hitting debra situation. Even if they do bring him back ever people will not forget about him being a "wifebeater". Kind of sad how few happy retirements wrestlers in the mainstream are getting.

Why would Austin be jealous of Triple H again? I mean, Stone Cold Steve Austin is a household name...you can't go up to the average person and ask them what they think about HHH.

Anyway, the Triple H thing makes no sense...if anything, HHH could be jealous of Austin's ability to come back from a life altering surgery and put on +**** matches.

yea Austin had **** matches while HHH had -** matches every PPV

Well, I just looked it up, and Austin-Angle from SS 2001 was considered ****1/2, while Angle-HHH was **1/2. Then again, if Stephanie McMahon wasn't involved in the match...

God, HHH's attempts to justify himself are annoying. Funny, but annoying.

It must suck having to listen to it all the time in the locker room.

Benoit: Damn, this coffee tastes like decaff. What do you think?

Booker: This definitely ain't the cafe latte I ordered.

HHH: Why are you two complaining? Did I complain when they punished me after Madison Square Garden? No! I worked my ass off, so that they were forced to give me the coffee that I wanted!

Angle-HHH from No Way Out is vastly overrated at **1.2

Good lord...the most over booked match ever...and HHH couldn't even move at that point.

Don't blame Steph on that one...her bumping was the BEST THING about that match.

I was at NWO that had the HHH vs Austin match in Las Vegas and let me tell you that it is UNDERRATED at **1/2 stars. The psychology was there and the crowd was rabid.

who called that match **1/2 stars?

Many people had it as the MOTY for 2001.

Many people think it's overrated...but even then I've never heard anyone put it down that low.

i think MrRant misread the quote. The 2001 Austin -Trips match rocked, easily ****, possibly *****. The Angle-Trips match from NWO2002 was a ** match tops!!! I remember bps and I having to defend ourselves against the hordes who tried to claim that the match was good when it was a heap o hunka dogshit!
