Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 ok so Triple H is on Raw, and we have to try and figure out who benefits and who doesnt Winners: Stephanie- Now this is good because it finally allows her to establish herself without having HHH making comments to her, and she has the oppurtunity to start fresh, and when they announced the signing of the "divorce papers"it can be looked at as being symbolic of their angle being done after all this time Jericho- For months now Jericho has been used as Triple H's plaything, smacking him around at any given oppurtunity, and completely burying him, now Jericho can finally move on and not have to sell everything like he just got struck from God Angle- See Jericho. Team Canada- They are starting an angle that is finally starting to get some heat from the crowd, and they don't have to lose TV time due to the INTENSITY of breaking equipment etc. for 40 min a week The Cruisers- They have more time to wrestle away from Smackdown, and for some episodes can actually be the center of the show All newcomers on SD!- They don't have to be subjected to a no offense squash if it happened that they have to face Triple H Eric Bischoff/Shawn Michaels- They have something of a vehicle to help get them some heat The Losers: RVD- If this guy is not traded to SD! he is in DEEP shit. When his pops are heard in comparison to Triple H's then we know hes gonna be jobbing to Steven RIchards sooner or later, this is fairly obvious seeing what happened to him after Jan,7 Booker T- Same grounds as RVD, he is over with the fans, and is part of the most constantly entertaining aspects of the show, this of course is gonna make Triple H feel unimportant, and we know where Booker T is going. The entire RAW roster- They have seemingly had animosity with him since the pep talk which has seemingly spawned to epic proportions, and they now have to kiss his ass otherwise they are gonna be waiting for NWA-TNA to sign them The fans- because do we really want another dX angle I'd like some feedback, opinions etc
Guest Kinetic Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 It seems like Booker has some unfinished business with HBK, which means that The Book's push is about to be derailed in a major way. Then again, they might forget all about it by tomorrow. This is one instance in which lack of continuity could work to everyone's advantage.
Guest mickberna Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Oh, Triple H is probably at every show anyway, so I don't think it matters which show he is a performer on.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 The winner, the biggest anyways, is obviously HBK. Lets face it folks, the man is useless at this point, he can't cut a promo, he can't work a match and he can't really be any real kind of threat. But with HHH there, he has someone to buddy around with, to run in for, and to pose in front of while HHH makes menacing growly faces or whatever the fuck that is. The losers depend. If he's face, good day Benoit and Eddy, you will now lose. If he's heel, Booker T or RVD will be the sacrifical lambs. If he's funny tweener HHH, then God help everyone within a 500 mile radius.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 with all this being said...whosthe heart of Raw RVD? Benoit/Eddy? Booker? Brock?
Guest Kinetic Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Undertaker. That way he can feud with Angle for costing him the title, which would lead to their match at SummerSlam at which point Angle will go over him clean. I hope.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 HBK is the BIG winner. and the losers are everyone else. the SD! guys get to win too.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 I think the Heart of RAW is Rob Van Dam think about RVD gets alot bigger pops then Triple H.
Guest Whatmaniac Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Triple H himself will benefit from the move as he can now have some fresh feuds. RVD will benefit because there will be less pressure on him to carry the RAW roster. RAW itself will benefit from having a strong number two babyface to use in case RVD gets hurt. Chris Beniot will also be a likely beneficiary since he will likely be in a high profile feud with Triple H for SummerSlam. This will give both wrestlers the direction they have lacked in recent weeks. OTOH, Smackdown will likely suffer as they already have a shortage of main-eventers and can ill afford the loss of one of their top draws.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Kill me now. But I'm GLAD that HHH is on Raw. *shrugs* I'm holding out for the 2000 HHH we used to have.
Guest Angle-plex Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Obviously fans want to see a DX angle again since they were chanting "DX" all through the segment last night. Unless it just "nostalgia" like Hogan.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Does-it-matter-what-Show-HHH-is-on? Raw-or-Smackdown. Did-he-do-anything-for-either-Show-when-he-was-the Undisputed-Champion? Everything-is-the-way-it-was-before.No-changes.
Guest Angle-plex Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Why would he bury Benoit? Benoit isn't that big of a guy on RAW and he just lost to Bubba Ray and Spike last night. RVD or Booker will be first.
Guest CanadianChick Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 I'm glad that he is on Raw. Maybe we will see some fresh storylines. And let's not speculate who he will hold down until he actually holds someone down...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 The heart of RAW is Undertaker, at least according to the WWF. WINNERS: Shawn Michaels - The most useless guy on the roster. At least X-Pac can wrestle, but he will get a load of TV time every week now regardless. Still won't make him any more of a draw. X-Pac - He may be back from suspension pretty soon. Smackdown - It now becomes the show to watch. Undertaker - Because of HHH coming over, he likely gets to move to Smackdown. Even if he doesn't, he is the only guy with enough pull to stand up to HHH. LOSERS: RVD, Booker, Benoit, Brock, etc. - Jobbing time for you guys. The fans - At least on Smackdown, you could read the spoilers and see if HHH did much damage or not, and then watch the shows he wasn't on much. With RAW, you're taking a risk. Eric Bischoff - He will end up like Ric Flair did.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 well if they can keep Benoit and Eddy in that feud with the Dudleys, maybe they wouldnt have to face Triple H until they get over but most likely... Triple H is gonna have Eddy and Benoit lose 20 straight times, thus crushing them
Guest goodhelmet Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 the loser in this ordeal? me while raw has been hit or miss for the most part, at least i didn't have to see the game every week since i haven't seen one full episode of SD since the split. now, even though i was thinking about watching raw again after my boycott of wwe shows since KOR, i guess that idea is squashed as well.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 Winner: Me, Raw is on Sky Sports and I'm not renewing my deal Losers: The Raw Roster
