Guest converge241 Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 well it feels like its coming (pun intended) im actually slightly looking forward to it because shawn and HHH should at least be funny , but i dont think its a good idea to keep going with the re-hashes. and lord help me if Gunn rejoins and Road Dogg shows up and we get the whole tag team champions/suck it deal. that will get me to quit! and if anyone out there argues that DX1 stuff is the same as DX2 stuff..go watch the original skits (especially the Taker BBQ) compared to the latter nonsense (minus the army invasion of WCW arenas)

The crotch chops and "suck its" were all a part of the Attitude era, and need to stay there. I'll admit that Triple-H's current character bores me, as do his matches. However, the WWE doesn't need to give us DX again... just like they've given us the nWo and Hulkamania again. The last thing we need is another nostalgia trip. The product needs something new. So instead of bringing back things that worked in the past, figure out something new that would work now.

At least they didn't drag the death of the NWO out like they did with DX. It should've died when HHH turned heel, and then again when Billy Gunn turned heel. Instead we got Road Dogg and X-Pac as DX. Don't make the same mistake as with the NWO. Keep old, played out stables gone.

THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST DONE THE DX IN THE FIRST PLACE!! how funny is it that they waste all that money and its been such a bomb....and they had shawn and HHH under contract the whole time? with shawn doing nothing and HHH fading after he was back for 3 weeks and the inital "hey hes back" cheers faded. lol

Vince has brought back enough crap and nostalgia was OK for about a month, and now I don't think nostalgia is a good thaing anymore. My eyes aren't sheilded by it now, and neither are most of the fans so a DX reunion would probably flop quick and just waste our time.

Only problem with that is can Stephanie actually be the face to Bischoff. I don't know if anyone would cheer or feel sorry for Stephanie after she opens her damn mouth.

Especially since, even as an HHH mark, I have to admit that the INTENSE~! HHH face is not nearly as interesting as "The Game" character as a heel or the DX character. Definitley this would be a change for the better.

Keep DX locked away in the attic with all the failed attempts at bringing back old, stale acts.. In fact, keep HBK away from everyone and everything. He'll only drag this company down even further. Methinks this just might work out.
