Guest pochorenella Posted July 22, 2002 Report Posted July 22, 2002 If you ever get a chance try to put your TV on SAP mode and listen to Carlos Cabrera and my fellow countryman Hugo Savinovich. I truly think they are the best Announcing team right now, even though I still enjoy JR when he's on with his game. The spanish guys are so funny, calling the Rock "La Roca" and referee Tim White "Timoteo Blanco" and stuff like that. And man do their tables get it! It's so funny when guys are fighting near them and they're going all worried and saying things like "I hope they don't break our table again!" And is it true that Savinovich was married to Wendy Ricter? Kudos to those guys. Atangana!

They actually cared about the match going on and not what was coming up next, or what happened eariler. A close second goes to Gorilla and Bobby Heenan, simply because their arguing is hilarious. Listen to their commentary at WM 8, after Flair loses to Savage (I think it's during the Tatanka-Martel match). It starts with Gorilla trying to calm Heenan down, and ends with Bobby challenging him to a fight. Great stuff.

Tito Santana used to be with them to around 1997 but i never liked him commentating 'cuz he was like..slow or something anyway......Atangana!!!

I did not know that. I always wondered what that sap button was for. Excellent i always wanted to know if the spanish announcers said anything about their table getting destroyed.

And Heenan was just priceless at Royal Rumble 92 and WM VIII. And while we're talking about spanish announcers, those guys from EMLL are really funny as well. I don't know their names but there's one guy there who knows a lot of the japanese moves names, and the rudo guys always pick on the technico announcer. And to eiker ir, ...Atangana!! back to you.
