Guest BifEverchad Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 The Euro Title hasn't been a good title since...well...I can't even remember when, so that tells ya somethin'.
Guest bob_barron Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I loved the Euro Title- it's always been my favourite title- dont ask me why- it just always has been
Guest claydude14 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 since d'lo's last reign as euro champ
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 The Euro title used to mean something, but yes, it is trash now. Well actually, now it no longer exists.
Guest Angle-plex Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Now lets get rid of the Hardcore title!
Guest razazteca Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 no if they can unify the Texas Hardcore with the Inter-Euro on heat or Velocity
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 So, Jeff Hardy was the final WWF/E European Heavyweight champion, and, Rob Van Dam is the first ever WWF/E Euro-Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 The question is how long before someone finds it in a garbage can and decides to declare themselves the champion. Hell, they did away with the Euro title before and it still came back, around the waist of Shane McMahon no less!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 *cough* Spoiler thread, people.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 IMO, the Euro title has meant exactly dick since it's inception. The only time a Euro title match drew anybody was One Night Only PPV where HBK beat Bulldog for the belt. Other than that the Euro title has been just a piece of tin.
Guest DrTom Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I think the best Euro title match ever was Shane McMahon vs X-Pac. And when the best match for a title involves a non-wrestler and X-Pac, then it's time for that belt to move on. Personally, I'd get rid of the Hardcore and Intercontinental titles too, and make Raw and Smackdown TV champions. I like the fact that they had a #1 contender's match for the IC title tonight, too. That should make it look more important in the eyes of the fans, and having RVD and Benoit fighting over it makes it that much better.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 RVD vs. Benoit... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 *cough* Spoiler thread, people. Are you saying that THIS is a spoiler thread? Cause, if you are, you'd br wrong. Hmm, no, you cant be, you posted in the RAW thread too. Damnit man, what do you mean?!
Guest Nevermortal Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Eddy was good with the Euro belt too.
Guest undisputedjericho Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Maybe he lives on the west coast or UK? (And I don't think anyone is waiting till Friday for the few Englanders around here so they can talk about Raw, so maybe you could find a UK based board instead?)

Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 man they need to get all belts as floaters
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 The question is how long before someone finds it in a garbage can and decides to declare themselves the champion. Hell, they did away with the Euro title before and it still came back, around the waist of Shane McMahon no less! Actually, it came back around the waist of MIDEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He took it from Shane's bag. It should have just stayed retired.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Calling the belt trash? Hey, lets take guesses as to who finds the Euro title in the garbage in a couple of weeks and starts defending it as something else? EDIT: CRAP..
Guest AssDroid! Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 The question is how long before someone finds it in a garbage can and decides to declare themselves the champion. Hell, they did away with the Euro title before and it still came back, around the waist of Shane McMahon no less! Actually, Mideon was the one who took it out of Shane's bag after Shane retired it. Just didn't want you to forget about 'ol naked man.
Guest TheBlurricane Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Ewww he left a floater!!! Sorry I had to say that. I've been saying make all belt holders be on both shows for awhile. It makes more sense and now with useless titles like the Euro title gone it would work better.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 "So, Jeff Hardy was the final WWF/E European Heavyweight champion, and, Rob Van Dam is the first ever WWF/E Euro-Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion." Wasn't Kurt Angle the first Euro-Continental Champion?
Guest TheBlurricane Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 No D'Lo Brown was the first Euro-continental champ...Kurt was second.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 "So, Jeff Hardy was the final WWF/E European Heavyweight champion, and, Rob Van Dam is the first ever WWF/E Euro-Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion." Wasn't Kurt Angle the first Euro-Continental Champion? That's not how i ment it. He's the first ever with ONE belt~!
Guest Choken One Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Well...Nash and Hall threw away the WCW TV title and it landed in the hands of Jim Duggan...There's hope yet for Tommy Dreamer!
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Maybe he lives on the west coast or UK? (And I don't think anyone is waiting till Friday for the few Englanders around here so they can talk about Raw, so maybe you could find a UK based board instead?) EVERYONE in the UK who cares about wrestling and has the internet looks at the "spoilers". It's not like in the US where you can last a couple of days between SD being taped and airing, we have to wait the best part of a week! As for the Euro belt, I'm sorry it's gone, they should have moved it to SD and made it their version of the Intercontinental belt.
