Guest thebigjig Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Just read this off of 411wrestling and thought it was of note to post here Goldberg's thoughts on Kurt Angle "Would love to wrestle him. I respect him very much for the transition he's been able to make. He's a very formidable opponent and I'd love to test his skills, though he's only 215 lbs." Anyone else find this quote highly amusing? Oh yeah, he also said he would like to jackhammer HHH off the top rope (well... wouldn't we all? lol) and he's supposedly a fan of the man show, which makes him look like a huge hypocrit since the man show is so much more "immoral" than the WWE product he often criticizes
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 For Goldberg to test Angle's skills, he would have to possess some himself.
Guest thebigjig Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 For Goldberg to test Angle's skills, he would have to possess some himself. True... and it's funny how arrogant Goldberg appears... it's like he truly feels he could do a shoot with someone like Angle and actually win. By him making the comment "even though he's only 215 lbs..." I get the impression that Goldberg is implying that Angle is inferior... of course, that might just be a bit of paranoia on my part caused by lack of sleep, but just the thought of Goldberg actually believing he could take Angle makes me laugh my ass off
Guest Kid Kablam Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 It pretty much sounds like "That kid Angle might be pretty good in a couple of years, my advice to him would be to keep on trying and to enjoy the wrestliing part." Thanks oh bald guru

Thanks oh bald guru Ah, pretty much the same message HHH sent out in regards to Jericho in a recent radio interview... man, it's a shame HHH and Goldberg hate each other. They would make a good team B)
Guest Angle is Wrestling Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Kurt would beat his ass OLYMPIC STYLE~!
Guest mickberna Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Goldberg sucks. I hope he gets crippled in a racing accident, and then we'll see how much of a badass he is. Stupid jock.
Guest areacode212 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Either Goldberg really is that arrogant or everything he says is in character. He may just be building some heat in the event of his joining the WWE.
Guest welshjerichomark Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Ah, pretty much the same message HHH sent out in regards to Jericho in a recent radio interview... man, it's a shame HHH and Goldberg hate each other. They would make a good team B) what did hhh say about jericho?
Guest humongous2002 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Angle is 235 pounds of legit tough guy, Greenberg doesn't have a chance, actually if Goldberg dreams about him beating Angle,he better wake up and apologize to my olympic hero.
Guest Ripper Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 All someone has to do is pull up in a car while they are wrestling. Goldberg would leave the ring to try and beat up the car and you can when with a roll up.
Guest The Son of Sting Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Is he talking in a shoot/olympic type match because thats what im getting from that comment, somehow i dont think Bill could "test" Kurt. I wounder what his views on Brock are?
Guest Ripper Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I think that people need to be reminded every once and a while that Kurt Angle is a Olympic Gold Medalist...He beat the best in the WORLD. For Goldberg to even utter something that moronic is a perfect sign that he doesn't have the foggiest I dea of what he is talking about.
Guest DrEvil Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 William who??? You'd think that having his ass handed to him by Regal would wise the guy up to the fact that being able to toss a 500-lb potato sack Paul Wight around doesn't necessarily translate into fighting skill. I mean what have we seen from Goldberg - great strength, and punches and kicks that a trained fighter would slap away with one hand. Can't wait for Angle to go Olympic on his buttocks.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Nash/HHH vs Jericho/Goldberg It's a shoot!
