He called Tommy Dreamer an Ex ECWA (not ECW he said ECWA) and that the flying splash off the ladder was a variation of the 5* Frog Splash, even though the 5* Frog Splash is a variation of the flying splash
Guest razazteca Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 yes I notice a few mistakes also during the Beniot & Booker T match JR: "the Rock hit a hard shoulder block on RVD er um Booker T hit Beniot" Jerry Lawler was completly silient during this slip up, usually the King would of made a stupid remark like where did he go to college at.

The problem is is that there isn't a good analyst like Ross to fill his spot. Michael Cole pretty much sucks, and I can't think of a guy who would be a great commentator. Maybe Foley can return. I can see good chemistry between Lawler and Foley.

He could just tell bad jokes and do his fake laugh and he'd still be better than Lawler right now. I'm not sure if Foley could do play-by-play, though. I can't picture him screaming about thing like hell, fire, and brimstone.

The Tazz/Cole experiment at Vengeance proved that would suck some nasty penis. As bad as he gets, I'd rather have him than pretty much anyone else.

Maybe if we're lucky they will build a feud between Benoit and RVD leading up to SummerSlam. Hell, maybe they will even throw us a bone and give us a 2 out of 3 falls match or some match that won't last for only 10 minutes.

Considering it seems SummerSlam always features an IC change (twice the title has not changed hands, both times HBK was the champion in question) my guess is you will see it, only Benoit as champion and RVD looking to regain after losing it this coming Monday Steve

I'd argue that the time span is longer. Ross has been going slowly senile for at least 4 years now. It's a shame, since at one time (late 80s / early 90s NWA - WCW era) he was the best in the business.

JR: I'm trying to respond King, but my mouth is full of delicious barbecue sauce! That's JR'S BARBECUE SAUCE (Match ends) It's almost as bad as the WCW announcers talking about the nWo for the entire evening, including during Cruiserweight time.
