Guest 4Life Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Last night HHH pedigreed HBK and "turned". Now why do you think he's a bad guy now and HBK is a babyface? Just because he turned on him? They way HHH walked to the back and left, it shows that there's something else going on and that "something" will be explained next week. Personally, I think HHH "found out" that Eazy-E paid off HBK to help him bring HHH to Raw and he just acted out of revenge. He will just explain this thing next Monday and it'll be the first time (that I can remember), something like this being pulled off. I hope I'm wrong. I like HHH as heel but you know faces make more money and sell more merch so you never know with him. Let me know what you think.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 It could happen, but I hope you are wrong.
Guest Downhome Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 If that happens, I might even become a HHHater.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I dont know, Game sold a hella lot of merch.
Guest BifEverchad Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Hmmm...I hear what you're sayin'. It's all quite possible. I mean, Bischoff could have very well set up Michaels to get HHH to join RAW, but didn't HHH say he was just going to RAW to hang with HBK anyways. Not that he needed convincing. Anyways, I think its just another heel turn for good ol' Trips. Which is a good thing right now. Heel HHH is 100% better than fuck boy HHH... meh.. just thank God for no dX
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I think they realized HHH's babyface run wasn't very good and everyone wanted DX back. So what do you do? Bring DX back...then shock the world and have HHH turn. If you turn Shawn again by revealing he's a heel with Bischoff...and HHH is a face again...everyone will get confused.
Guest Downhome Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I will say it again, if they make it so HHH is just a face still, under your scenerio, I just might become a HHHater in terms of his on screen character.

Bring DX back...then shock the world and have HHH turn. If you turn Shawn again by revealing he's a heel with Bischoff...and HHH is a face again...everyone will get confused. Can you please explain what would babyface HBK do at this point? He can't wrestle. There is no Nash or Hall anymore. What the hell would he do? Nothing. Now, being heel, there is a lot more possibilites for him to make HHH's life a living hell. Just be with Bischoff and think of all the angles they can do. Personally, I hope HHH turned for real but I won't let anything surprise me anymore. Plus, I don't think it's that hard to explain. One 15 min interview would do. Just think about the way he left after that pedigree. You know there is something going on.
Guest Downhome Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 You don't know that he doesn't have any more matches in him. For all we know, he has a few more left and they've just been waiting for the perfect time to break them out. He will wrestle, there is no question about that, and I feel this is his time to really have his true sendoff, afterwhich, he WILL become a manager for someone.
Guest BifEverchad Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Just think about the way he left after that pedigree. You know there is something going on. OoOooh....maybe it was a shoot! Hunter didn't like the condition Shawn showed up in (tiny arms and selling bibles) and decided to show him what he thought of him...
Guest papacita Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Well from what I heard, the match at SummerSlam was supposed to be Nash and Hunter...so with Nash injured, maybe HBK might return in a one time only match and take Nash's place.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 why does papacita have a picture of Bull Nakano in his sig?
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 I think you are thinking too much about this. Just let it sink in and deal with it this week. If next week HHH is still a face because of a HBK/Bischoff conspiracy, then start the bitching. Hell, I'll lead it.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Well from what I heard, the match at SummerSlam was supposed to be Nash and Hunter...so with Nash injured, maybe HBK might return in a one time only match and take Nash's place. A department store dummy could effectively take Nash's place, so I'm betting on a one-time match, since HBK could wrestle one by now, and HHH would take it easy on him. Besides--keeps HHH away from RVD for a while.
Guest NazMistry Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 If I get Heel Triple H versus an okay HBK at SummerSlam i'd be quite happy.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 well if it is a face turn and HHH gets stuck in a horrible angle, the falling of the glass ceiling migt cut him
Guest iamsherm Posted July 23, 2002 Report Posted July 23, 2002 Maybe this has already been mentioned, but does anybody remember the night after Wrestlemania 14? I believe it was then when Triple H said Shawn "dropped the ball" by losing to Stone Cold. I think that's where they're going with this. HHH is a heel. And am I the only one that doesn't wanna see these two fight at Summerslam? Shawn's return to the ring is too big for just a one month build up. Save it for Wrestlemania, or at least Survivor Series.
Guest deadbeater Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 HHH did the best move of his career. He is numb because he is doing it without any rub derived from the boss's daughter or from Vince. After all Shawn is Vince's pet boy. Now HHH has to take time to feel how it's like being a real man for the first time in his life.

Guest Dangerous A Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 If you listen to the way JR sold the after pedigree effects last night, it sounds like a heel turn to me. We'll see.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 From what I've seen at very news places... It looks like it may very well be HHH vs. HBK at SummerSlam. I don't know how to take that if HHH jobs. That's like saying...I would job to my friend Nash...but he's hurt...so I'll job to my friend HBK instead... you know...as long as it isn't someone wrothwhile. On the other hand...I'll be happy if he wins...because he'll be going over a useless person...instead of someone worthwhile.
Guest alfdogg Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 HHH can feud with HBK the rest of his career for all I care. Keeps him away from the guys who need the pushes.
Guest welshjerichomark Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 but i thought hbk was a heel? so hhh turning on him would make him a face? am not paying enough attention to raw? i think that it is a swerve because if hhh was turning for real it would be over a big star like rocky or hogan.

What's the point in HHH (who will most likely be wrestling for a long, long time to come) losing to Shawn Michaels, who probably will not be wrestling very often, if at all, again? I'm sure HHH wants to beat Shawn so he can finally "break out of his shadow" or some nonsense like that. At least Kevin Nash had potentialy wanted to keep wrestling, which would mean him winning against HHH wouldn't be pointless.
Guest converge241 Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 your idea would be a nice change from the usual swerves. I was expecting Shawn to superkick HHH. I hope HHH is/stays a heel though, much better in that role.
Guest Stezton Posted July 24, 2002 Report Posted July 24, 2002 From what I've seen at very news places... It looks like it may very well be HHH vs. HBK at SummerSlam. Shawn can't even take the damn Pedigree right ... I doubt he could do a decent match.

A few things to counter that: They were building HBK as a face all night 1) He stands up to a heel Bischoff saying by saying no one tells me what to do and walks off 2) His run in with Big Show keept Big Show as a mean heel saying how Shawn didn't look as tough without Nash lurking around 3) Keeping with the Show point, Big Show wrestled his ENTIRE match with Spike as a heel, JR, King and Eric referred to Show in heel terms as he toyed with Spike like a rag doll. 4) Show was directed by a heel Bischoff to throw Spike and Bubba through the table and got approval from Bisch afterwards 5) D-X's "return" got a HUGE face reaction from JR and King so conversly HHH's pedigree of HBK was treated by JR as a heel tactic Steve

If they were not treating him as heel, then we'd know something's up. I honestly pray to God that this would not be true. I love Raw (I don't watch Smackdown), so having HHH be a face and take everyone down will make me tune out.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 HHH isn't going to be a face. The WWE may be dumb, but they're not stupid. HBK gets pops and might even have a match or two left in him, so he's the face. In fact, given the (alarming) pops he & Nash were getting, if Nash hadn't gotten injured and the nWo storyline had continued, Michaels & Nash'd probably still be the faces in the feud, because they're the ones who got the face pops.
Guest Steviekick Posted July 25, 2002 Report Posted July 25, 2002 This is propably more like fantasy booking, but it's appropriate here... Now that HHH is a heal, HBK wants to get back at him badly. Shawn, the ever resourceful Texan that he is, remembers something. He approaches Booker T, and gives him an offer kinda like this: HBK: "Booker, you took out my best friend Nash...take out my ex-best friend, HHH." Booker agrees to do this, but under the condition that he can have Sweet Chin Music as his finisher, and renames it Suckah Bustin' Music. Imagine the hilarity of HBK trying to teach Booker the proper way to do it, against Goldust, who gets his ass kicked by the both of them, time in and time out.... That puts asses in seats
