Guest Downhome Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 You know the guys I assume, lol. Golberg, Steiner, Savage, Sid, David Arquete :P , etc... Who do you feel could TRULY contribute, if any? Does WWE really NEED to bring in any of these guys after all, or can this new GM gimmick work fine without any more hotshot signings? First off, I 100% feel that RAW WILL get Goldy over time, I don't think there is any way around it. I do not however feel they NEED him, or any other new people. Sure, I'd mark out of any of the new guys showed up, but they aren't really neccasarry if you ask me. The only type of guys I feel they NEED, would be a few more cruisers or tag team guys to round out those divisions, and even in that situation they don't really need anyone all that much. So who is it... ...who do you feel WWE SHOULD bring in, if any? On a side note, who do you feel WWE WILL bring in regardless? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Invader3k Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 I think if they bring in Goldberg depends whether or not Austin comes back at this point. If he does, I really don't think they'll need or want Goldy.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 If Mikey would unretire and show up I would mark like a sumbitch...Mikey and Yoshi were the best team of 2000. If they could get Sting I think it could be huge...I was never a big Sting fan, but I think he could make a big impact (althought he doesn't seem like he wants to work anymore)
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 nobody. if the past 6 months has shown us anything, its been that hotshotting guys into the promotion has done nothing beyond a minimal pop for 2 weeks. just wipe the slate clean and start establishing new stars. they need the belt on a *gasp* heel hhh to give a face edge/rvd/book someboy to chase after.
Guest Brian Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 I;d rather not have a bunch of cruisers in until they get everyone established.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Bring Sanders back damnit! Most of the WWE fans don't even know who he is. WWE could build him from the ground up.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Stevie Ray , you could bring him in to feud with Tazz over the commentary spot on Smackdown. Michael Cole: It looks like there's a confrontation right here at the announcing table (Stevie Ray walks up to Tazz) Stevie Ray: Look at that mohawk headed yak (Tazz and Stevie Ray have a brawl that's pulled apart by Cole, Mark Lloyd and Kevin Kelly )
Guest AM The Kid Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Christopher Daniels Mike Sanders~GAHHHH! Scott Steiner thats IT!
Guest Just call me Dan Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 You guys are kidding yourselves if you don't think Sting would be HUGE. Yeah, he's an old guy they would be rehashing, blah, blah, blah but Sting SHOULD have come in in the whole invasion. If DDP was still healthy and in a strong spot on the card like Booker, and Sting was a top level guy I don't think many of you would be complaining. Fact is, some older guys can still go and Sting would have no problem getting over. If I were Bischoff I'd bust my ass to sign Steve.
Guest Brian Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 I've said it before but Christopher Daniels is so ready. He's got the mike skills, the charisma, the baility to play to a live crowd, the facials, and he can do a pretty damn good WWE style-influenced match.
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Brian, do you think Low Ki would stand a chance if WWE got serious about their cruisers?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 Low-Ki? Christopher Daniels? But...they're so small! *shakes WWE propoganda out of head* AND STAY OUT!
Guest Brian Posted July 26, 2002 Report Posted July 26, 2002 At one point, yeah, but Tajiri having come in and being totally toned down, I don't think he'd benefit at all and I doubt the WWE would pick him up.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I know *I'd* mark out if they brought in Elix Skipper.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 AJ Styles vs. Elix Skipper, Jerry Lynn vs. Low-Ki!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Sorry...
Guest DJ Jeff Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I would more than love to see the WWE sign Steiner and have him sign with RAW. That would be awesome to see. If the WWE signs Goldberg, that would be pretty good to see, but not as good as Steiner signing with the WWE. Once you get to guys like Savage and Sting, then you're talking about guys that wouldn't wrestle much due to age. Therefore, bringing those guys in wouldn't really help much, unless they were a manager or something.
Guest BigTim2002 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 What about that Steve Austin guy...? I will say this though. You bring in Chris Daniels as the "Fallen Angel", and I swear that the cruiserweights will be that much better. It's all about him being the dark priest...it fucking rules. And the COSTUME~! Damn. Also, Donovan Morgan, Mike Modest...both of them would make the cruisers better. I can't believe that Daniels didn't make it after those tryouts...or Low Ki for that matter. ARRRRRRGH! WHEN WILL VINCE REALIZE THE FUCKING WAY?????????? WHEN? WHEN WHEN WHENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN?
Guest Angle-plex Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Jake The Snake Roberts SMELL THE RATINGS~!
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Lets do the Early 96 or 97 Remedy for WWF ratings.. an AAA Tour! thats right Pierroth ,Cibernetico , Latin Lover Heavy Metal ,Hector Garza = RATINGS Make Konnan Main Eventer! He'll Beat The Rock, or the Brock or whoever will be World champion .... BWAHAHAHA Scary huh?
Guest BigTim2002 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Also...LA FUCKING PARKA~! CHARIMAN OVER ALL PEEPS=RATINGS~!
Guest Ravenbomb Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 didn't they have Daniels under some kind of contract during the Corporate Ministry thing? Why didn't they have him be the preast type guy during the black wedding instead of Bearer?
Guest AssDroid! Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I know it's kind of out of the question now, but I'd like to see Jeff Jarrett get another shot in the WWF. Cruiserweight-wise, Chris Daniels would rule, but Vince will probably point to his initial match in WCW as exhibit A why they won't sign him. Bullshit? You betcha. But that's how the Vin-man works.
Guest Flyboy Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I know *I'd* mark out if they brought in Elix Skipper. PRIMETIME!!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I have become an increasing fan of K-Krush... the problem is as soon as the WWE brought any of these people in...we would hardly ever see them.
Guest Brian Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 Here's what's funny about Daniels. He was once the highest paid member of ECW. He's been under both WWE and WCW contract. He's probably worked as many dark matches as anyone else not under contract, and veen as many as some.
Guest Spit Green Mist Posted July 27, 2002 Report Posted July 27, 2002 I think WWE should sign Spanky of all people He is oozing charisma and the kid can work. He's like a new age Shawn Michaels in my eyes, and they could always play up the "Young apprentice" thing for he and Michaels in the lower midcard/cruiser ranks... And American Dragon is far more ready then Lowki. Lowki is boring. Sure, the guy is stiffer then than Peter North, and he has SOME cool moves (The only moves I like by the guy are that handspring into the corner kick spot, and his phoenix splash into a knee drop), but he's essentially boring. The style he works is the over powering style, and the problem is, most guys aren't gona sell too much for him being that they'll be bringing him in as a newbie, and he hasn't "Earned his spot" yet. His promo skills are Horrific at best, his gimmick is a fucking monk for christ sake, and he doesn't work the crowd. His selling sucks, being that he barely ever sells, and he doesn't have a unique way of selling (That's always a plus), and his little 5 year old temper tantrums he has in every locker room when things don't go his way will/has only hurt him.
