Guest Anglesault Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I, for one, definately will read it. I'm sure it's going to be a good read, and I've always like Moolah. Plus, anyone who's willing to take what she and Mae did tonight to promote a book earns my money.
Guest Incandenza Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Will I read it? Um, no. I wouldn't mind seeing her get the shit kicked out of her by giant Samoans again, though.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Maybe if I find it at a Yard Sale in a little while. I mean I do respect what they did, but I'm broke, yo.
Guest Nezbyte Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Nah, im waiting for another Foley book. An indepth one, more about his time in the indys and Japan and other Euro-Afro-Austrailian countries, y'know?
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I probrably won't read it. She never intrigued me that much and I've seen her around since I started watching wrestling with WM1. I am however looking forward to Bobby Heenan's book.
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I am however looking forward to Bobby Heenan's book. DEFINATELY. That will be a must.
Guest Prince Paul Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I probably won't. But I'll read Heenan and Russo's books.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Moolah...nah Heenan and Russo...oh yeah
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Moolah - Maybe Hogan - Probably Heenan - I don't know the guy that well, being relatively new to the scene. If I hear good stuff from others, then sure. Russo - No. I don't care to hear his spin on WCW and the other crap that surrounds him, much less actually pay him for it.
Guest thebigjig Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I'll probably read it. I enjoy reading about the "golden era" of wrestling and I'm sure she's got some fascinating stories to tell about the great territorial days
Guest nikowwf Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 no interest. Meltzer said she talks about all her matches like they are real also, which sounds lame. Niko
Guest LJSexay Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I will. She gets my respect after years of taking brutal bumps, and especially at her age.
Guest thebigjig Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I will. She gets my respect after years of taking brutal bumps, and especially at her age. Judging from last night... she has my respect She bumps better than Hogan!
Guest Anglesault Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Exactly. Rose or whatever the fuck his name was hit her HARD with that running ass face thing. She takes better offense then Hogan!
Guest BionicRedneck Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 No way would i read Moolahs book. But, when Bret Hart's eventually comes out i will definately get that.
Guest Anglesault Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Chances Are, I Hate You Too by Bret Hart Synopsis: Read along as former wrestling star, Bret "Hitman" Hart whines and complains. Watch as the jaded, disillusioned ex wrestler reminisces about the glory days. Marvel as he blames YOU the reader for Montreal! Wonder how he can blame Vince McMahon for all his problems! Ask what the hell he was doing in Australia while his mother was dying? And if you order now, Bret will send you an autographed coy of his new pamphlet Hitler and Vince McMahon: Who's More Evil? Just 29.95!
Guest welshjerichomark Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 i have been waiting for moolahs book for years, i will most definately read it when it comes out in paperback over here (in about 2099)
Guest DJ Jeff Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Will I buy Moolah's book?....Nah. I still have yet to buy either of Foley's books.
Guest deadbeater Posted July 31, 2002 Report Posted July 31, 2002 I'll read it, for she will cover wrestling for the last 50 years.
Guest midnight_burn Posted July 31, 2002 Report Posted July 31, 2002 I may read it, should be interesting.
