Guest Rey Rey Rey Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Bill Goldberg in the WWE Good - Ratings will go up No Good - Ratings won't change Awful - Ratings drop
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Goldberg spikes the ratings for one night midcard hell eternal follows. i wish people wouldnt get their hopes up so much.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 btw, is "Rey Rey Rey" who I think it is?
Guest thebigjig Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 btw, is "Rey Rey Rey" who I think it is? God I hope not... But anyway, I don't like Goldberg, but I have to admit... I would mark for the guy at least for a few minutes anyway
Guest notJames Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 btw, is "Rey Rey Rey" who I think it is? Yes. Look at his sig. So what's the pool now? 5 hours? Back to the topic: Awful doesn't even begin to describe how awful it would be.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Dammit, can't these idiots stay away for good? On topic, Goldturd would probably spark ratings for maybe a WEEK, then it would be downhill from there.
Guest thebigjig Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Hey, at least he was creative in choosing his new name... What's after this? Rey Rey Rey Rey Rey? Okay that was lame, but seriously, it wouldn't shock me
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Goldberg is the one wrestler who would most want to make me change the channel immediately.
Guest jester Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 I haven't seen much from Goldberg because I've seen very little WCW, but what I've heard isn't encouraging. Supposedly he has a habit of not protecting opponents in the ring, stiffing them hard. That won't make him friends with a lot of top guys at WWE, who could get stiffed right out of their careers. I also heard that he wants major money. I think him coming in as a prima donna heel would be a good angle (have initially refuse to wrestle anyone because he's too good), but they guy just seems to have too much real baggage attached to him to make him worth picking up. Thumbs down
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 30, 2002 Report Posted July 30, 2002 Everybody complained when Bischoff came in and he has actually made things very interesting. With the right storyline, Goldberg could be good for business.
Guest notJames Posted July 31, 2002 Report Posted July 31, 2002 Damn, I had 5 hours. Guess I overestimated the little guy...

Thumbs down I'd love to see Goldberg back ONLY for an HHH fued. Either HHH squashes him, or Goldberg forcibly retires him. Win-win.
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Do I Really Have to Shoot over my distaste at the concept of CRAPBERG in the WWE?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Actually, I wouldn't mind seeing Goldberg in the WWE. Then again, that's because I never did watch WCW that much. Just enough, though, to know that I wouldn't mind seeing Goldberg in the WWE. As far as ratings go, he'd probably spike the ratings for one night, and that's about it. I'm sure fans would get tired of Goldberg almost immediately after his debut.

Guest thebigjig Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Ah, I take it that you missed out on something quite interesting that happened a few days ago... rey rey rey originally came on here as... rey rey... and annoyed the hell out of all of us with his markism. He admitted to being 15 years old, his grammar was horrible, and we naturally made fun of him. So, he retaliated, making himself sound even more stupid in the process. Anyway, he was banned, and he came back as rey rey rey (creative huh?) and was promptly banned again Too bad he hasn't chosen the nickname I gave him as a new handle Dumbfuck
Guest DJ Jeff Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 Anyone want to bet that this Rey kid will return with the name Rey Rey Rey Rey Rey Rey Rey Rey?
Guest thebigjig Posted August 1, 2002 Report Posted August 1, 2002 He probably will... just to spite us actually I had a great time making fun of the dumbass. *sniffle* I kind of... miss the little bitch
