THAT'S IT!

Let see. Brock gets exhausted reading the booking sheet for the night. He has a manager with EXCELLENT mic skills. Why the hell do they let this man huff, puff, cough and wheeze through promos when Heyman is RIGHT THERE? I hope tonight they finally realized the problem and will let Paul talk.

Heyman did all the talking for Brock's first few months and the guy wasn't any more over for it. The fear there, I'd imagine, is that Heyman will get all the heat while no one will give a shit about Brock. They just have to find a balance in who gets the promo time.

well, no one gives a shit about Brock AND the promos suck. One of those can be fixed.

How long has Brock been cutting promos for, anyway? He hardly ever speaks.

It's the same deal that happened with Yokozuna. Jim Cornette was as good a manager as there has ever been for a long, long time, but Yoko still couldn't get any heat. Therefor, Brock must get himself over through his promos, which, if what's been presented so far is any indication, is unlikely at best and impossible at worst. Sorry, Brock.

I want Paul to shoot an inhaler into Brock's mouth halfway through a promo.

I think they are saving Heyman up for one uber-promo. Right now he is standing back and watching his monster take over. I'd say either the smackdown before, or 2 weeks before Summerslam Heyman cuts the promo where he says Rock is scared of Brock, and blah blah blah, *insert biblical quote here*, yada yada yada, *insert random ECW quote here* 'Brock Lesnar is the next big champ', stir, bake for 15 minutes at 450 deg. and it's good.

I figured that since heyman was doing all the talking when Brock debuted, he would have a squeaky Mike Tyson-like voice :)

I just saw the promo brock/Hogan (delayed by Phillies game) and that was pretty sad. I am actually looking forward to SS though just to see how blown up he can get in a 20-25 minute main event match. The Rock better be on his A game that night to avoid a total train wreck.

Instead he's got a Doris from Rego Park voice. (Any New Yorkers listen to the fan?)

How much do you think this God push Brock is getting would be different if Batista was in Brock's shoes. Do you think he would be over going into this title match? He seems to have a much better monster look and looks much more explosive like a monster should be.

Personally I think with Heyman as a mouthpiece Batista could be over big time in time for the SS match. Maybe not quite over enough to justify the match in the first place but over enough that everyone would not be predicting a giant disaster at the ppv.

aarrrgghh.. I can't stand that cough. She makes me change the station with the quickness.

Hey Jodie, (cough cough) I wanted to talk about the Mets...(cough cough)

I don't really pay attention to superstar's promos, but Lesnar did seem out of breath when he was talking to Hogan. That was after a 2 minute match with Henry also. Just imagine what he'll be like after his match with the Rock at SummerSlam.

Coach: Brock Lesnar, how does it feel to be the WWE Undisputed Champion?

Lesnar: *huff* *puff* *huff* *puff* *passes out*

Get real. Coach will be waiting with an inhaler.

Ah, give Brock a break. I know I can't pick up Mark fucking Henry and spin him into an F5.

At least Brock is something new, and he's a shitload better than Cena. I can handle a wheezing promo as long as I don't have to see any more rehashed stars from years past.

Guest Anglesault

Wheezing in a promo=out of breath

out of breath from one move = Out of shape

Out of shape=Brock possibly dying in a 25 minute fast paced rock Summerslam ME.

what if they make it a triple threat, and brock doesnt get the belt

Brock is better than Cena?

O_O

I know there's a lot of hate because he lost to Chris "JTTS" Jericho..but..woah..

Oh well. Hate makes us say things we all don't mean. ;)

"Hmm, is that look Liberace meets the wolfman" versus "I (huff) hope you win, brother (huff)"...

I'd rather hear Lesnar be a little out of breath than hear another pathetic Cena delivery of a shitty "comedy" line.

When it comes right down to it, I'm much more entertained by Lesnar. Cena started strong, and took a nosedive.

Maybe HHH tolduh Brock to-uh breathe harduh... You all were thinkin it!

Anywho, it has been my viewing experience that Olympic Wrestlers have very poor stamina and get blown up pretty quickly (case in point, Mark Coleman)

Different people, different likes.

I can't stand the "Evil MONSTER~! Heel" gimmick anymore. "Oh, he's big and strong and mean and scary. Boo him." Please.

At least Cena dosen't use the Bearhug of Doom. :)

About the bad comedy..(eyes writers)

Remember this one fact:

Lesnar will be undisputed champion at SS. -_- Cena's mild compared to that travesty.

I hate all developmental talents just under principle alone, forget about the 'lean green sports entertainment machine' that they all are, they were brought up under a system which prefers look over ability, style over substance, postion over passion, and the like.

-I like the 'killer' gimmick, which is not necessarily the 'monster heel gimmick', but it is one of dominance nonetheless. Lesnar is not a killer, however. Benoit, if in Lesnars uber-push position, would be a killer.

Am I the only one that though Brock sounded more like he was saying the Jimmy Snuka "brutha" instead of the Hogan "Brother"

Brock isnt over because he is push to the main event way to soon.

I still feel RVD or Edge should be main eventing Summerslam againest The Rock.

Atleast THAT will get a decent buyrite and great crowd heat.

Guest LesnarLunatic

Maybe they can somehow unite Brock and Angle to get Brock some more heat.

Guest El Psycho Diablo

I feel Van Dam deserves it more than Edge. He's saved the WWE's ass the last few months more times than I can count..and is the one guy who'd be a legit main eventer. Edge is still..Edge..

Brock isn't over because he hasn't had a storyline to elevate him. Fighting the Hardyz and killing them DOES NOT GET YOU OVER. Austin, HHH, Taker... DIDN'T WORK FOR THEM! Lesnar needs something more powerful than 'killing the teens choice' to get over. The Rock feud is supposed to, and it might if done correctly (it seems to be done correctly so far.. Rock looking at Lesnar and Lesnar smirking as Rock had to tape out was perfect).. We need more symbolism in storylines nowadays.

I've been trying to figure it out..but..Lesnar will be the the quickest person to debut professionally and win the world title. Am I correct?
