RVD to Smackdown?

If my prediction is right, we'll most likely get Rock/Benoit for next week's SD. It's makes perfect sense booking wise. Rock's gotta get revenge somehow for losing.

 

I have this strange feeling that on RAW, Steph will tease someone else jumping to SD which will of course create another "who could it be" buzz among the internet smarks

 

Then, during the hopeful main event of SD, near the end, RVD comes out, revealing himself as the jumper, and costs Benoit the match with Rock... furthering their feud over the IC belt, and giving Rock his job back

I could actually see that happening because... RVD doesn't have a damned thing to do, right now. Plus, that would give me RVD/Benoit Part II so I could deal with it.

 

But, I just don't like the idea of RVD being on Smackdown!... we all know he lost his fans the last time he was on that show.

Benoit is on SD! bragging about making the Rock tap...and about how he can make anyone tap.

Out comes RVD to a pop that even post production can't hold down.

 

"You never made me tap"

 

After all...the story of that match was that no matter what Benoit threw at RVD...he couldn't make him tap...and had to cheat to win.

Why not just book RVD/Benoit II for Summerslam anyway? They don't have to be on the same show to compete on Pay Per View, do they? It can simply be billed as Bischoff's attempt to get the IC title back on Raw using RVD.

 

And would it really be a stretch of the imagination that anyone who can pin the champion or make him submit therefore holds the #1 contender position? Benoit will probably get a title shot next week, where Edge will cost him it. Benoit/Edge at SS is inevitable, it seems.

Ricky's got a good idea. Summerslam is one of the big ones, so why not do some cross-brand matches? Play it up big, and have a tag team from SD! try to take the titles from Raw, have someone from Raw try to take the IC Title... Makes sense to me.

 

I'd prefer the "RVD jumps to Smackdown leading to RVD/Benoit pt. II at Summerslam" idea, but either way works.

Ugh...I prefer to watch as little of SD as possible, so I'd like to see RVD egg Benoit into coming back.

 

Of course, I'd also like to see Edge, Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, etc jump to Raw, and Big Show, Bradshaw, the Dudleys, HHHH, go to Smackdown. Then change the name to WWE Hosspen, and use the first half-hour/45 minutes to run Cruiserweight matches, and the rest to be HOSSMATCHESBAHGOD, then when hour 2 ratings are .000000001, maybe they'll fire some deadweight worthless no-talent asses.

 

Of course, I can only dream of that.

 

Oh...and send Test to SD, and hire La Parka for the Cruiser division.

Yes and that would leave RAW with, what? Two effective faces? If even that. Flair is on his last legs. Taker is as well. Booker T is about the only face they have going for them besides Triple H.

 

Moving RVD to Smackdown would be too stupid, even for the WWE Braintrust.

Well, seeing that I don't get Smackdown, I wouldn't mind if they sent RVD there. At least I wouldn't have to watch him anymore except for PPVs.

I wouldn't mind seeing RVD join Smackdown. Actually, I want that to happen. Then, we'll get to see RVD vs. Benoit at SummerSlam, for the Intercontinental Title.

The problem with doing the cross-show match is that RVD should go over, because keeping the feud running with basically just promos will be difficult, and than SmackDown is left with nothing. They still have to create opposing titles, and eventually if this is all going to work they need to seperate the undisputed champ .

Just because he's on SD doesn't mean HHH can't bury him... He doesn't have to bury him by wrestling him and RVD never winning
