In an Earlier today segment, Rico is working on Mark Lloyd and Rico ask's Mark if he used moose or gel, Mark said moose and Rico says that is no wonder his hair is dense. After that, Hardcore Holly comes on the scene and takes unusual notice of the situation and Rico asks him to take a number and leave. As Holly was about to leave he notices a white clipper behind Rico and very quickly takes a clip of Rico's hair off his backside. The hair piece that was taken is then very noticeable when Rico realized what had happened.

 

Rico vs Funaki:

 

Great matchup with a good share of back and forth offensive maneuvers by both men. Rico hits a modified armdrag takedown on Funaki that looked like it hurt. Rico attempts a Rico Edge but Funaki fights outta of it but Rico followsup with a spinning heel savate kick to get the 1-2-3.

Hardcore Holly vs Albert:

 

Albery immediately goes to work on Holly as he got in the ring. Holly is clotheslined from behind over the top rope to the floor and then rammed into the steel steps. Holly fights back with chops but Albert overwhelmes him and gets him back in the ring and press-slams Holly over his head. Both men exchange punches in the corner and Albert drops his head on an irish-whip and Holly kicks him. Albert continues his attack on Holly on the outside of the ring while Holly was under the ropes, Holly then gets slingshoted under the bottom rope, 2 count only. Holly gets the feet in Albert's face and the rams him into the steel post, followed up by a couple of chops. Holly hits his trademark dropkick but only got a 2 count. Holly chops away at Albert in the corner, Albert pulls it around but got nothing but turnbuckle and then a clothesline. Holly attepts to goto the top but gets crotched. Albert attempts the Baldo bomb but Holly counters it. Albert uses a big foot to Holly's face, 2 count only again. Albert gets pissed and says "Bullsh*t" and shoves the ref, the ref shoves back and Holly followsup with a rollup to get the 1-2-3. After the match, Albert attacks Holly but Holly drives him right into the steel steps. After that, Holly goes over the Mark Lloyd and punks him out and grabs him until Rico comes out and kicks Holly in the face. Rico extended a hand to Mark Lloyd and Mark accepts it but only gets a smack in the face for his troubles.

Chavo vs Tajiri:

 

Tajiri gains control first with a headlock, then goes into an armbar but Chavo counters each hold. Contests ensues with some good offensive reversals. Tajiri hits a side kick on Chavo and that got a pop from the crowd. Tajiri proceeds to punish Chavo while Chavo was under the bottom rope. Chavo fights back on Tajiri and goes after Tajiri's right knee. Chavo gets Tajiri back in the ring and goes after knee until Tajiri fights back and gets Chavo in a single-leg rollup, 2 count only. Chavo locks in a half arrow leglock on Tajiri until Tajiri gets to the rope. Tajiri breaks free with a kick to the head on Chavo. Chavo goes right back after the right knee of Tajiri until suddently Tajiri locks in the Tarantula. Chavo still goes right back after Tajiri and gives Chavo a tiltawhirl slam on his right knee. Tajiri goes to the top rope but misses the moonsault and as he attempted to land on his feet and does, he impacts his right knee and injures it even more. Tajiri goes to the top again but gets thrown off and as Chavo goes up top and gets a move to work for him off the top he only gets a face full of green mist. The match then gets ruled a DQ.

Bull Buchanan vs Mike Awesome:

 

Bull goes right to work on Awesome when he forces him into the corner but Awesome comes back with a shoulder block on Bull from an irish-whip. Bull fights back on Awesome as Awesome was on the outside. Awesome comes back with a clothesline, 2 count only though. Match continues to go back and forth for a few moments. Bull hits a neckbreaker, 2 count only. Bull begins going after Awesome's neck. Bull is irish-whipped into the corner but jumps to the top rope and comes off with a clothesline on Awesome, 2 count only. Bull continues to goto work on Awesome with armlocks to the neck. Bull shoves Awesome into the steel steps. Awesome returns with a shoulder block on Bull from outside the ropes. Awesome hits another clothesline and goes to the top rope and misses the Awesome Splash. Bull comes back with a hard shot to the neck, Bull gets attacked but manages to hit a legdrop from the top rope to get the 1-2-3.

This is complete and total BS. Awesome may not be Main Event material (especially since I haven't ever seen him use a spinebuster) but the guy could easily be used in a fun midcard fued with decent workrate and some high spots. But hey, WWE knows what we all want, right?

And the whole Mike Sanders business just makes me seethe. Ugh. So much garbage on the roster and they let freaking Sanders go?????? Let's assume that they don't want to get rid of any of their workers for some reason. Why not get rid of Terri or Torrie Wilson? What do they even do anymore? I'm sure Torrie Wilson's contract is way bigger than Sanders and EZ Money combined. How I wish WCW was still around...at least some of these talented peeps would have a chance to shine instead of rotting in developmental or the indies.

Oh, and Bull Buchannan sucks massive amounts of ass.
