Guest mister foozel Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 Will this REALLY be HBK's last match? I for one think HBK will be miliked by the WWE for every bit of wrestling skill he is worth if his match at Summer Slam turns out really well. But it depends because we probably won't be seeing him do the backflips and somersaults he used to. Summer Slam will tell.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 i think this might actually be his last match
Guest Dangerous A Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 If his back is as fucked up as they say it is, then this should be the last match. There is no reason for him to risk paralysis to be in matches that aren't going to be any good. But we'll see here in the next 2 weeks or so.
Guest Indy Posted August 6, 2002 Report Posted August 6, 2002 It will defenantly(sp?) his last match...
Guest Brian Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Nah...I think they're going to drag it out until Triple H is medically cleared to wrestle. On one hand, I hope both guys get back to where they were, but in reality, there's not much to look forward to.
Guest the pinjockey Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 I doubt they even have a match at SS. They will probably do a little schmozz brawl deal like UT/DDP had at KOTR 2001 then have a real match at the next PPV or even drag it to SurSer just so we have to endure three more months of mind-numbing promos like on Raw.
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Sad part is I'd probably end up buying both of the double SS payperviews... *sigh*
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Im guessing theyre gonna go into the SS match, see how it is, evaluate how HBK can hold up in a match, and go from there. Its sad to say but i also agree its probably gonna be some brawl or squash. Poor HBK
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Sad part is I'd probably end up buying both of the double SS payperviews... *sigh* You ain't the only one that has a little mark fighting it out inside of you... Even though RAW was the WORST FUCKING WRESTLING SHOW i think i've EVER seen, besides Booker T & Goldust vs Chris Nowinski ( Who rules beyond words ) & Regal, and the interview with Trips & HBK was nothing short of BORING, im STILL going to end up ordering the PPV...just to see what they do with each other.. Sad i know...but eh... Taker Mark
Guest the pinjockey Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Just remind that little mark that both of the people involved are cripples. It is pretty easy for me because even during the great 2000 run of HHH I really didn't mark out for him ever and I only marked out for HBK for a short period around WM XII.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Hell i still think HBK at 50% is as good as HHH and 100%. HHH has gotton so big in the past year its rediculous. Its affecting his in-ring work and the only way he has good matches is if he can work w/ someone like Jericho. But by no means can HBK carry a match anymore. Neither can Hunter for that matter anymore. Hes not the Hunter from 2000. But we'll have to wait and see
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Oh I doubt Shawn would do it if he thought he'd put out a crap match, unless finding god means not bothering to worry about how your matches go anymore.... Actually I'll probably be at College come Survivor Series, so I'd have to hope I had a friend who's apartment had a cable box...
Guest Ram Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 It's not a match, but a "fight". In other words, 32 punches, 19 kicks, 2 superkicks, 1 pedigree, 1 knee kick, 7 hugfests, and a guaranteed 11 minutes of stalling.

Guest Michael Joel Benoit Posted August 7, 2002 Report Posted August 7, 2002 Shawn would never want to piss on his legacy. He doesn't want people to remember his last match as being shitty. He probalby wants to go out on top so if this match at SSlam sucks, and he can still do it, he'll probalby wrestle again and have a proper end to his career.
