Is it me or did anyone pick up a wierd Rocky V

Looks like thats where they were going. Old and broken down master goes for a fight against someone who was his protege to prove to himself that he still can go. Granted the final fight in Rocky V wasn't in the ring in a publicized match but the premisis is the same.

 

BTW if anyone knows classic country music I wonder if the writers borrowed the last phrase from Kenny Rogers "Coward of The County" with "sometimes you have to fight to be a man" I'm sure Shawn picked it up as well as country inclined Baltimorians (if thats what people from Baltimore call themselves)

 

Well just as long as we don't get promos with fans chanting "GO FOR IT SHAWN!"

Rock (Rocky, ha ha) vs Brock (Ivan Drago)

 

But I marked out like a little bitch for Rocky 4, especially the end fight.

Yeah the Rocky 4 thing is similar to Brock/Rock...

 

 

what would make it worth the price of the pay per view is for Brock to get in Rock's face as the match begins, and say "I will break you... like your friend"

lol, as long as his entrance didnt leave him out of breath, that very well might be worth buying the PPV.

 

And MR T was doing lame local jeopardy parody commercials for a phone company up here near boston, so... I KNOW he's not doing anything.
